Always the best prices and employees. Beautiful, well run store. They train their employees very well. I'm handicapped and the kids working there are always happy to bring me a handicapped scooter or carriage or to help load my groceries into the car. Great job with the customer service. My one complaint would be, although the deli people are good and hard-working, they don't need to show every slice to the customers, especially when there are over ten people waiting. Maybe they could just ask, thick, thin, or regular? This takes a lot of time for every item they slice. PostScript: This is still a beautiful Marketbasket and a great addition to the Rochester area. The deli, however is still a nightmare. They need the have numbers for the seafood. A few weeks ago, lobster was on sale. The seafood line moved very quickly, without deli numbers. I waited over 30 minutes for two items! One server is very slow and shows every slice to the customer. Please, just ask how they want it sliced! I'm not Lady Gaga; I'm not going to wear it or frame it. I'm just going to eat it! The deli manager needs to monitor the rush when it's busy. Also, when it's busy, stop the chit chat! I saw many people walk away from the deli one day. You're losing customers!!!

I like this place. But it really does suck if your handicapped. There is always boxes or pallets in every aisle.Or staff wheeling pallets and you always have to get out of the way. It makes it very hard shopping when you can't move fast or are using a scooter. I know you say it saves price increases. But what happened to customers having a good experience shopping. I know everyone hates food shopping in the first place

I love this Market Basket! I save so much money here. The produce section is beautifully arranged, great selection, good prices, and the manager and his staff are super friendly!! I am a big fan of Jamie! I shop every weekend and he always remembers me as the cilantro girl since I get it every time! Excellent customer service. I think the lines can get long but the front end manager is always quick to call folks down to help. Everyone there is hard working and very attentive. I should be smart and shop early in the morning though. I get there late morning and its crazy busy but my own fault really haha. So so so happy with my favorite store :)

Later that night I went to pick up the groceries whereupon a friendly customer service rep brought my wife's cart from the cooler. I had two more things to shop for and was helped with welcoming and warm answers from two different staff members. The check out experience was just as friendly and welcoming. Credit card failed to even read in their pin-pad. No big deal, just switched to a different card. That should have been the end of it. Nope, cashier tells me its my fault. There was no reason to assign blame to me when it just could have been a fluke. Just about the rudest interaction I've had in years. I already avoid this store like a plague (too busy, no one has any situational awareness, fresh department quality is worse than competitors, prices are only marginally better, and lines are always dumb long, with no one ever being called to help.) and its moments like these I feel vindicated in not shopping here.

Sometimes crowded, and extra crowded with all the stocking personnel and boxes in the isles. But WELL STAFFED so you can almost always find someone to help you, and open registers or a very short line. Courteous and well trained. Over the last 5 years they have really improved their fresh products, service and specialty lines, while still maintaining the best prices.. so I don't go anywhere else.

Milford Market Basket needs laminated "item locations" guide...as Nashua Has in conspicuous locations. Isles too close and not wholly loaded with grocery stock found in larger MB stores. Overall, good for bread, eggs and milk but not much more.

Market Basket in Milford is always busy. It's a great location for commuters and has a NH Liquor Store right next door. Popular, especially on the weekends, even tho I'm not a customer, plenty of people are! So, you get the one stop shopping for parties, quick dinner selections, or a gift for a special night out. The quality and variety at MB is really good, an easy floor plan to find things and staff is cheerful and helpfull. I've never had a bad shopping experience at any Market Basket and I frequent a few different locations. Great job, as usual!

The frozen meat section wasn’t frozen, the isles were way to narrow, they don’t have the products I love, and it is super confusing and hard to navigate. All in all, this was not a great trip, tips I have for the store is to make sure your product is as advertised. For example, your “frozen meat” is actually frozen.

You almost can't avoid saving money when you shop at Market Basket. If you're a smart shopper and you don't mind picking over the lower-quality meats and produce, you can find top-quality in each for the lowest prices ANYWHERE! Employees are helpful and courteous. I wish some of the smaller, older stores had more prepared foods, and areas to sit down and eat, but I imagine they all will some day soon. I also wish that most of their store-brand breads and pastries didn't have so much junk in them, like corn syrup, HFCS, fillers, preservatives, etc., but it's hard to avoid that anywhere, and some of their stuff is actually very "natural".

Slowest market basket ever. I literally stood in line for a couple minutes while the cashier was done having her conversation with a friend who just finished getting her groceries rung in. Her groceries were already bagged And payed for and all that was on the belt was my groceries. Then while she was ringing up my groceries she was throwing the stuff into the bag so hard she dented my canned goods. Meanwhile, she was talking to the bagger in Spanish about me not knowing i speak Spanish quite well. SMH. Not once does this cashier stop talking. Where is the customer service in this store??

Very good for produce, meats, cheese, and everything else. Very affordable. Market basket brands are very high quality, they may be cheaper than the name brand but they still taste good unlike some stores brands. Workers are very polite and they are very nice. There is a choice of boxes over plastic bags which i prefer because they are easier to carry up stairs and instead of carrying 40 bags you only need to carry 2 boxes.

The employees are very helpful in directing me to where items are that I am unable to locate. The cashier by the name of Chris who has worked at Market Basket for many years is very friendly. He loves animals and will regale you with stories of his cat. All of the other cashiers and baggers always have a smile when I'm checking out. The prices have gone up since the strike, but overall the store has low prices and an excellent variety of items that you cannot find in other conventional supermarkets.

Market Basket's are usually very busy on Sundays and this one is no exception. When I walked in, the dairy and grocery side looked like Portsmouth Market Basket while the kitchen/deli/pizza, produce and freezer side looked like Hookset, minus the cafe and dinning area. Prices consistent with other Market Basket's, unlike Walmart. Parking area is smaller than others with parking spaces too close to intersections and stop signs. A lot of foot traffic inside and out.

Service is excellent as usual; but today we were out in the parking lot getting ready to unload cases of H2O & Soda and the employee working the carts across the way looked over & came right over and asked if he could help us!!! I love this grocery. Today I had a beautiful grab-n-go salad. Mixed greens kale beets goat cheese tomatoes onions. It was awesome. I love the large selection of imported items. Excellent choice of groceries, usually kept clean and well organized. When it's busy the entrance/ exit can get frustratingly congested. Traffic can make getting here or leaving an issue so have patience. Market basket still has the best prices around and friendly helpful staff.

This store is busy.. It's a big store. Lots of parking..but has multiple entrances so he very cautious when driving in. Good handicap accessibility. Just crossing the cross street in front of the store can be maddening.. Dont forget your blue bags, if you need them their available inside. Theirs a courtesy desk inside to your left..just around the corner after entering. But accessible if needed.. Taxi.. Just off Elm Street.. I don't recommend bringing very young kids as it's a very popular and busy store. Hit or miss on busy.. Not alot of room if you bring a big vehicle or one with a trailer.

Well personally the stores been here my whole life it opened in 1995, I have seen it go through a strike to win back it's owner from a board of directors and I personally love the store. Every day it's open but 3 out of the year. They hire so many employees of all ages .they get trucks five days a week full of everything from coffee to gummy bears. Surrounding towns and Milford are so lucky to have such a good grocery store. Food is actually hard to get for a good price year after year.

Just left MB - and as I was loading my car I dropped a container of yellow tomatoes - one of the employees in the parking lot quickly said let me get someone to bring you another - I protested that it was my fault - I dropped them but she insisted! A few minutes later a young man returned with a new container. I have to swear in this day and age it is so refreshing to get Customer Service and to be treated so well when it really wasn't necessary - it was so refreshing. I am sorry I didn't get either of the employees names but kudos to both of them and to the staff and owner's of MB for training your employees to go above and beyond. I was a loyal customer before but this just solidified it - Thanks -

I've been going here for years, and to me it's the best choice for general grocery shopping or even a quick bite to eat. Every time I go in there it seems like they've improved one section or another, so the place always feels fresh. Management seems to run a tight ship, as the products displays often look immaculate. Sometimes I like to stand back and just take in how neatly organized all of it is. Their prices are excellent. Their selection always keeps things fresh. Their private label products are high quality and very affordable. My one point of criticism; a handful of the employees really need to learn what kind of conversations are appropriate for a public work environment. Some of these conversations range from overtly vulgar to downright problematic. While I'm not easily offended, I know that's not true for everyone. I typically come here alone, but sometimes I bring my daughters with me and I'd rather not have them wondering what a cr***head or a ret**d was. I chalk this all up to inexperience, and don't let it impact my view of market basket as a whole.

Poor selection and poor service at the meat and cheese deli in the back of the store. I have asked store managers 3 to 4 times to carry Ken's Steak House Balsamic Roasted Onion Marinade. For some odd reason they won't stock good marinades. Sweet Baby Ray is not a marinade. Be weary of sell by dates on hamburger, and pre-packaged produce such as coleslaw and baby spinach. I have bought expired food. Be weary of the sell by dates on deli meat.

Every person I have asked for help in the Biddeford, ME Market Basket has been great. If I'm looking for something, they know exactly where it is. If I ask them to reach an item for me from the top shelf, they do, then they pull the stock forward so other customers can reach them. No other grocery I frequent is consistently this good. Prices are better on 95% of what I buy, too. Shop there if you are in the area.

Unprofessional. The attitude given by some employees is undoubtedly due to the managers allowing that kinds of behavior. I watched as someone who could do 1/3 of the work get the better position just because he was a Male over the female who went above and beyond.i watched as they fired someone who made a complaint multiple times about another employee and all to be transferred and never was because this employee was tormenting all other employees.

I feel a bit guilty about rating it only 3 stars when the store has much to commend it in comparison to much of its competition. It is large, has wide aisles and is exceptionally clean. What it is not is Whole Foods. The selection of organic items is unimpressive. The brands available, while comprehensive, are not up to the quality found at Whole Foods. At Whole Foods I savor the quality found in their Produce, and Seafood, Meat, Cheese, and Bakery departments. I had no similar reaction here. As to pricing I found the prices on those items which could be found in both stores to be markedly similar. Bear in mind that there is a premium for quality organic food. My experience is that when you factor in the superior taste and nutritional quality of organic products you will find you need less of the organic items for the same or better meal experience.

I adore Market Basket for a number of reasons, and this store follows that trend. I love their wide range of items, especially the vast produce section. I take advantage of their delicious and amazing selection of ready to go items. The fruit is incredibly fresh and the shelves are stocked - and if they’re not, a kind staff member will gladly assist. The prices are fantastic too. The only reason for the loss of a star is an opportunity that seems to bedevil all Market Baskets, but is especially acute here - allocation of checkers. There is frequently only one express line open, and it is impossible to pick up a gallon of milk and some bananas in under 15 minutes (especially with small children). If they would open 3 (or even 2) express checkouts, this place would be perfect. I’m editing this review to five stars, as each of my last four visits has found a sufficient number of express lanes available and much shorter lines. Thanks for listening and responding!

Of all the Market Baskets I’ve been to this is by far the grossest and smallest. The family should be ashamed of letting it get to be this run down. Not a positive shopping experience. Not going back to that location so I’ll be making other plans if I continue to shop at MB. Such a shame because I was new to this area and glad to have one near me. Framingham clearly needs a Market Basket!

Best produce in the area. Hands down. They sometimes have fresh galengale and almost always have fresh turmeric. WHO EVEN DOES THAT? Most of the meat isn't up to snuff if you're into ethical meat consumption, so I'd skip that here if that matters to you. The Goya selection is fantastic. Good gluten free products, although mostly frozen. Prices are excellent. It's usually a zoo at the checkout however. So that's fine if you're on a huge grocery run, but you're not going to get out of here in a hurry. But NO automated self-checkout. I personally hate those so I'll sit in line longer with an actual human if it means not having to wrestle those damn machines. Lots of Portuguese speaking staff, so if that's your primary language, this will be a big plus for you. I haven't had any issues communicating so I wouldn't say it's a downside. Seriously though, galengale. A+ for rarity and quality in all the produce.

This market basket is the once a week shopping store for us. The prices are great compared to other stores, the meat selection is very good and love the produce. The cashiers are so kind and friendly. Been shopping here for years and I'm sure we'll continue.

While their prices are great, their flow of traffic in the aisles is extremely frustrating. Please stop stocking shelves during extremely busy times, it’s hard to maneuver the cart and avoided hitting people when you have employees opening boxes and unloading them for shelves that don’t even need to be replenished yet. Use those employees to help bag or train them to use the register so that the checkout lines don’t get backed up. Other than that, it’s a nice place to shop.

Tonight was the first night in years I've been to any Market Basket. We were in the area and had to do some quick food shopping. We decided to go to Market Basket because it was closest to us and it was approaching 8:00pm. Basically, WOW! I forgot the great selection on items they have that our regular supermarket does not carry. I bought a few things that were not on our shopping list because it's just been so long since I've had them, I couldn't pass it up! I would say prices in general are average and competitive with other stores. I would say if I can avoid the crazy crowds, I would like to keep coming back for those exclusive items!

The best food prices in the area, but the patience of many, including myself, is running out because they load the shelves all during the day, and it's gotten completely out of hand. Sometimes the pallets of boxes are over 5 feet high and can block a whole section of a row, one side or the other. Beyond that, the staff moving around the store, especially those who are emptying those boxes of goods onto the shelves, pretend they don't see the customers and NEVER give way in the limited space in the aisles. If Shaw's or Hannaford were to bring their prices down, I personally would never go back to Market Basket.

I know a bit about advertising and that is a way for stores to make more $ because it causes people to have to walk around the store more searching for what they usually buy, in the hopes they'll see more things to buy that they weren't really planning to purchase.

I went in once with my arm in a sling, and the person bagging came and unloaded my cart, and took my groceries to the car and loaded them into my car, without being asked. Weekends are super crowded, so best to go midweek.

I love market basket, milford's location is a little smaller than others and doesnt offer quite as much but its still a great grocery store. The prices are usually low and the staff are mostly friendly and knowledgeable. It's also pretty clean for how busy it always is. The parking is spacious and very handicap accessible. Great store!

Love shopping at Market Basket. I wish it was a little bigger like the Nashua ones, but this store has everything I need. Great produce selection, fresh beef/chicken, they always have marrow bones (I get them for my dogs), and I never have to wait in line long at all! They properly staff their registers, and I see the cart boys/girls going out of their way to help customers loading their groceries.

My rating is based on what I've seen in other Market Basket stores. The staff is very nice and very helpful, the store is run smoothly and clean. Items are placed where they should be and the shelves are always stocked. I just wish they had a better selection of everything and could be updated to have a dine in deli and bakery. Some of the stores are much more elaborate and have much more to offer. But for this area, trust me this Market Basket is loved and appreciated.
