Very shocked when I got to the register with a pre packaged salad, and a dressing packet. Cashier said I had to pay for that, it didn't come with the salad. I thought for sure he was mistaken. I asked a manager and they said those packets are for the salad bar, mind you there all together., In the same place. And I paid over$3 for the salad, a small , AND IT DOESN'T COME WITH DRESSING ??? I couldn't believe it, I've gotten the same thing at other stores, never heard of that. Well never again.. some prepackaged salads already have dressings in it. How can you sell a salad and offer NO dressing, but silverware you can take..?? Okay....

My favorite location because it is nice and small, but still has a wide variety of items including organic and allergen free foods. I think they made a big mistake taking the customer service counter out. The produce dept. seems to have a hard time keeping the sprayers working. Twice I have been unable to buy bunch spinach because it was dry and limp. Staff is usually friendly. Pharmacy staff are helpful and kind.

Let's put it like this, my longtime partner and I went to Hannaford for 2 bananas so we could make banana bread but walked out with $61.00 worth of food instead. Today must've been hot guy day because everywhere we looked it was one hottie after another. We just found our favorite supermarket. LoL

I wish I could post the pictures of the strawberry I took...... Not just one pack, or two there were 3-4 packages that had mold growing I them!!!! Not just a little where it would be hard to tell... it was A LOT!! I drive 20 mins out of my to the Hannaford on Forest Ave. because of how nasty the produce section is at the Riverside St. location. Even if I just need one thing, I'd still go all the way over there!!!!

Ever since they remodeled this place it has gone down hill. Every time I go here they get rid of something I buy, every single time. This is the 20th time now. My daughter eats the Organic pop tarts because she can’t have a lot of sugar and now those are gone too. They should of kept the organic section instead of adding it in with the rest of the food. The body wash is with the cleaning supplies, the aisles don’t even make sense anymore. Everything is just thrown in together. I don’t understand why they made the organic section a shampoo aisle. They could of left it how it was. Now they’re slowly getting rid of the organic options one by one. This place is going to be the next Save A Lot but with higher prices.

Today I found the poppy filling I’ve been seeking for 2 years! One of our family’s traditional ingredients for Thanksgiving. Not only do they have it but one of the staff knew exactly where it was, much to my surprise and delight. - Generally, this location is smaller and always has what I want, both great qualities for when I want to shop. Get in and get out ;)

Supermarket that is definitely improving itself. In the process of reorganizing and doing well at it. Very courteous staff and helpful. Not as much of a variety like the other stores. That could be because of demographic and location. Hannaford Go is in operation there as well. Would recommend.

I have had so many experiences with food that either went bad long before it's expiration (typically the Hannaford brand chicken), or finding food on the shelf that is already expired. Once I found apple sauce that was expired by TWO MONTHS still on the shelf! The selection also gets smaller every day, and the produce only keeps getting more brown and wilted. I will drive to Falmouth or Forest Ave before I will buy my food here.

I have shopped at Hannaford my whole life but going to any of the stores, especially the Riverside one, has become a waste of time, money and patience. The entire chain has whittled down the selection consistently and combined with the fact that they only stock a few of each item, not only do they not have the first choice of anything, they fail to have any at all. If Im going to have to go to Walmart for the onslaught of items they continue to get rid of I rather just get everything at once, for less and have everything be the first choice of what I want

This is one of their smaller stores. Typically good for produce, meats, dairy, eggs... there is a decent selection in the bakery. I'm a fan of their bakery breads. There's a Surprisingly nice selection of cheeses, but their wine selection leaves a bit to be desired. Stick with the basic new world wines. Some of their highlighted wines are okay, but some just have nice labels. I my biggest complaint is that they don't carry an extensive selection of specialty items, but again, it's a smaller store.
