Fully stocked and great prices. Its a small location so be prepared to wait at checkout, I think there are 4 to 5 registers. Would avoid it around payday.

The new changes made shopping difficult. Carts have been moved yet again. Cashier had to ring up grocery and bag them, no bag person. So I had to take my grocery's to my car, return the cart to store. No big deal right? Need to make my government pension stretch, newly windowed, and am 83 years of age. So commissary shopping had always been so helpful. Now it is not any better than the local stores. Which are SO difficult. Is this your goal. Is this what you feel military widows deserve? Thank you for your service. Hope this will paint a different picture of your cost saving efforts.

This is a great place! The service is amazing, the food has an amazing selection, many foreign foods, and it has all of this at prices better than most other grocery stores! I can buy a gallon of whole milk for $1.00 cheaper than my local Hannaford!

The Bangor ANG Commissary is a smaller store compared to many military commissaries but adequate and you can take care of most all your shopping needs. While they do carry some Organic food items, they are light on them. However, I stock up on what they do carry as the Organic food prices are reasonable there.

Since retiring from the AF in 2004, this commissary has less and less every time we shop here. They say ask for things that they had here before and we can if we can get it back. But they never do. They are driving the retired away.

the Baggers Let Me Know It Is OK To Bring My cooler along with tote bags. That makes it easier than rearranging ftom the trunk of my car.
