Their prices are high, their cashiers act as if they have more important things to do other than check your purchase. I try not to go there mainly because of the "entitled" attitude of the cashiers. They can say "Welcome to Carters" all day …

In a small town such as Albany it's fresh to have all you need friendly atmosphere clean well-stocked they just don't accept WIC which is crazy they need to accept WIC vouchers so we don't have to go to Walmart

They are the most friendly people, it's like everyone knows all of the different workers. The employees are so helpful and all seem to love their respective positions. I LOVE THE DELI WORKERS, they all go out of the way to make sure you get exactly what you want. They're the friendliest ladies.

I live on a fixed income prices were very expensive. Guess being the only grocery store for miles and miles. You do have the advantage on buyers. I found it very expensive, and shocked they don't sell wine??? I take it as a blood thinner. It would be nice if they carried it. So close to home.

This review is regarding the buffet. Prices are way to high for the quality of food, I will not be going there for lunches anymore. All the sides are so heavy that tenders and a side can end up costing you more than $10.

The young cashiers got a bad habit if throwing your groceries around to the bagger girl... cause they think it's funny, as they giggle. The manager needs to retrain these cashiers about respect for paying customers and the groceries they are buying. Trust me I know, I shop there 3 times a week. All other employees are absolutely awesome.

Just moved out here. Friendly staff and store is alwaysclean, but this store has absolutely no low carb or low sugar items available, also has minimal selection of fresh produce items. Makes shopping for diebetic diet extremely difficult. Since it is the only store in town I'm forced to go to Hammond to do majority of my grocery shopping.

Shen you walk in it just feels like the place need a remodel or to be cleaned really well. Other than that though, I really have no complaints. The staff is usually always courteous to what you need, and know the location of items within the store. I do not end up in a wild goose chase while looking for any items that I may need to get.

I have shopped at Carters for a long time and haven't had a bad thing to say until now. Twice I have shopped there and had a very rude cashier that couldn't say thank you after the transaction...as a matter of fact she didn't say anything the entire time and just dropped my change in my hand....but today was unbelievable! I was in line with my handicapped brother in-law the cashier checked me out then asked my brother in law to go to another register (after he stood there while I checked out) I asked her if she would go ahead and check him out since he was already there and only had a few things. Her response was "No, I'm sorry) While my brother in law had to go get in another line to be checked out she locked her register and went stood by another register to talk...then returned to her register and began to close her register out. The 5 minutes she spent talking to the other cashier she could have checked out a handicapped man with cerebral palsey that had trouble walking and with only a few groceries...then closed her register out!
