This place shut down all real cashiers before 10 PM a lady with a huge biggie waited 10 minutes for a off work employe to find someone to actually ring her up penalized for buying groceries completely B.S. Miss Cheryl at the self check-out was so helpful! I am 38 weeks pregnant, and an item rang up for the non-sale price. I was willing to walk back to where I got the item to confirm that I had read the sale sticker correctly, but she insisted on taking care of everything for me so I wouldn’t have to do the extra walking. I don’t usually have cashier attendants treat me so courteously even when I’m also toting along my 18 month old daughter at this stage of pregnancy! What a thoughtful employee! Love the store. It's like a super walmart in high scale. You can shop everything in one trip. Food, clothing, dog food, even jewelry. Their deli and sushi shop are awesome. The sushi can be made to order. I normally get chirash bowl but tried a new poke bowl the other day and yes, it was good again!

Had to run in for one item. Walking from one corner to the next of the building because self checkout was closed on the pharmacy end was bad, then there were six people in front of me. So one thing was a horrible idea. And it was $2 higher than the drug store. Sometimes its just Friday...lol.

I love this store, but to not have a register open at 11pm on a Saturday night is ridiculous. People who have $100 worth of groceries to buy shouldn’t have to self check them out (and deal with the frustrating, slow self checkouts) when there are employees right there that could be running a register. If it was 4am Sunday morning, ok maybe. But 11pm on a Saturday night is not an unreasonable time to shop for groceries. Kroger, fix this! I spend thousands of dollars a year at this store....

I want to start by saying I am not one to be easily impressed by Customer Service. My daughter and I went into Kroger the other night and she absolutely loves the mini carts for kids, however she was disappointed to find there were none inside by the doors. Elijah heard us talking about it, and instantly ran to the back of the parking lot and found a mini cart for her. It made my daughters night at the grocery store. Very sweet employee! I called the manager to compliment him as well, I want to make sure he is recognized for being great to the customers! Go Elijah!

On the weekends the store is staffed almost entirely by high school students who just don't care. They're not usually super busy if you go early in the morning which I would recommend. I don't know how many deliveries they get per week, but my produce almost always goes bad within a few days of purchase. Potatoes shouldn't go green 2 days after buying them. Onions that are rotten in the middle, greens that go slimy, always within days of purchase. I would recommend going to a busier kroger if you want food that lasts long enough to eat it.

Always a better experience at Kroger than at Walmart , especially checking out. Kroger's main downfall is their pharmacy. They'll continually give you the wrong prescription . Even stuff you've informed them your allergic to,its a miracle they haven't killed someone yet! Use Cherokee drug shoppe, their a professional business with a personal touch.

Today I spoke with Lynn and she was very rude and frustrated when I was trying to understand what the cost was for medication. When I told her she was being rude when I asked her to reapeat what was covered and what I could get over the counter, her reply was cause I already told you .

Nothing says "welcome" and "come on in" like locking a whole entrance. This is especially awful when you're not feeling well and the door closest to the pharmacy is locked an hour before the pharmacy is closed. I also wish the grab and go check out was ever staffed. All of these make it an inconvenient place to shop and fill scripts.

What can I say? Its a Kroger's grocery store. Clean, well staffed, and friendly. This particular location can be very busy in the afternoons and on the weekends, but the lines move fast and you never feel very crowded. Stop in the seafood department and try some fresh tuna steaks.

I love this Kroger. It is my local store. They constantly have good deals and I love their clearance section. There are actually two. There is always a staff member around to help out if you need them. The store is a bit big and the only problem I've ever encountered is when the move isles and items around. Other than that, I love my Kroger!

The Kroger to end all Krogers in West Knoxville. A Kroger Marketplace that I'm guessing wants to be a blend of Walmart and Target does well as a super grocery. Exteremly clean, well stocked, and friendly workers. Can become very, very busy at times. Open 24 hours though, so pick your poison. I enjoy going in the late evening on weekdays to avoid congestion. Also, if you need an engagement ring while you're picking up milk and bread, a jewelry shop inside the store will help you navigate your obviously hectic lifestyle. You can still quickly get in and out with 8+ self scan stations, though, if your list isn't too long. This Kroger also allows for curbside grocery pickup if you plan your grocery visit accordingly.

Monday 10-15 at 12:30p Meat counter looked like nobody was refilling. Very small selection. Disappointed to see more self checkouts going in. Everyone knows the reason. Wages have increased for hourly employees, so Kroger compensates by putting more self checkouts in so they don't have to hire as many hourly employees. There by saving salaries and benefits. Maybe the C.E.O. could take a wage cut. We stood in line behind four other orders. Shameful. Looks like Kroger is more interested in profits than customer service.

This is a huge store with an amazing variety of goods. It has a large selection of every kind of food, wonderful produce, many aisles of organic foods, and a good variety of goods from other countries. Like many grocery stores nowadays, it has a pharmacy, a floral department, a bakery, and a deli, but it also has a sushi bar and Starbucks with outdoor seating and a gas station. This may be the best grocery store in Knoxville.

Item I went in for was in stock but checkout took an excessive amount of time. At 9:30pm they only had the self checkout open and one lane on the other end that was probably where the cigarettes are. Every checkout was filled up with people with medium to large amounts of items. If they are still busy at this hour then they should still have a couple registers open. There was zero customer service, I felt like I was at Walmart.

I used to love this particular store and it's convenient location. Now I despise it. I'm not sure who had the genius decision to reorganize or not even organize your store. It is not one bit consumer friendly anymore. Went into the home goods side today expecting to find glassware in the home goods area. They are now completely at the other end near the groceries. And cereal well that's now near the house cleaning supplies. I will no longer be shopping at this Kroger. I would much rather shop at Walmart where they properly have their merchandise organized!

The Kroger at Market place on 9225 Kingston Pike has been my favorite grocery store for over 12 years. My two sons’ and I love shopping at Kroger each week. Every Friday, we use our free Friday gift from Kroger on the digital coupons. I also love using the Kroger, My Magazine Sharing Network for free sample products in the mail. Now, with the new Kroger Scan, bag and go program at Kroger. We now save more than money, we save time on our weekly grocery shopping. My Two sons’ love the new easy for you meals with over a dozen meals to choose from. All you have to do is, choose your entrée and side, and add to your skillet and in 8 to 10 minutes your entire meal is done. Thanks Jean, for being amazing cashier for me and my family each week.

Kroger is a great place to find good deals. I love the manager specials. Even though they are near expiration they usually are still good for several days after purchase. their stores have just gotten too big though. I don't want to have to walk through the home decor section to get to milk. Everything is always in a different place then it was before, and it is almost impossible to find the "free Friday" deals most of the time. This is definitely not a store I shop in if I just want to run in for a quick trip.

Clean. Good selection compared to other grocery outlets in the area. You have a larger selection of goods (clothing, personal care products, etc.), but not all of the items that you might find at your regular Kroger, such as natural food items. But you should be able to find everything you need here. So I do recommend shopping here.

I work in customer service and I know what too expect we then we got attitude from the man in the customer service desk. Bag of halos were all bad. Had to take time to go to customer service because the steaks that I got your scanner charged regular price. Chaotic, a mess out of a lot of products. The isles were messy. Had to go to the bathroom and it was disgusting. I usually go to the Emory road store and no matter how busy that they are things look much better.

They are in the process of moving all their stock around - again. As a manager once told me, they do this to force you to look for what you need. Maybe they all do it, but Kroger does it a lot. It's why they remain my last choice to buy groceries.

Went to the deli, requested two 8 pcs of chicken, there wasn’t any out, but the kitchen had the chicken available. I asked for 16 pieces and was told no they have to feed dinner customers. No one in line asked for fried chicken, and I was told I had to wait 20 minutes so they could accommodate customers that was not present. I was treated like I wasn’t a customer who shops at this Krogers weekly.

After I was done I told her to have a nice day and she just ignored me. I don't think a person like that should be running the self checkout if they are going to act that way.

I don't have any issues with the store itself. It's Starbucks that is getting a terrible review! I ordered 2 different drinks. One of them was a cappuccino, easy enough. Nope! They gave me black coffee with half The cup filled with whipped cream. The other was a latte with a few extras in it. They told me it'd be a few minutes to make since I wanted 3 shots and extra whipped cream. That's fine, totally worth the wait. It looks perfect like it should. I went to put a little sugar in it and the lid to the sugar fell off in my drink along with an entire jar of sugar! I'm sure it was done by one of the girls aiming their phone at me laughing. I told the worker what happened and he literally asked if he needed to make me a new one! No, I love metal lids and a ton of sugar on top of something already sweet. So he made me another one which took the same amount of time as a gas station cappuccino. At that point I was in a hurry and thought nothing about how fast it was and that he didn't even give me another chance to use the sugar. I get home and take a drink just to find out it's complete garbage! Straight mocha instead of white chocolate. No extra shots and no whipped cream!! I called and the store manager, James, was very nice and extremely helpful. I am able to come back when I want to get a full refund and the correct drinks.

close to home, good sales, like the store clerks. I really like the meat department's 'butcher' shop clerks. 'Butcher' shop might be a stretch because Kroger quit grinding their own ground beef, ground chuck, ground round and ground sirloin a while ago to save money - so the 'butcher' shop is more of a repacking center instead of the true 'butcher' shop feature originally designed. Go to Brooks Meats in Walton If you want locally sourced beef and store-made ground meat and sausages. Beware the chicken - it needs to be used within a few days of purchase, no matter what the expiration date is.

Purchased milk yesterday at the Kroger Marketplace on Kingston Pike. We were in a rush and didn’t think twice about the date on the milk. Didn’t think I would have grabbed a milk out of the refrigerator one month old!! One month!! I think this is absolutely unacceptable and encourage you all to check the dates. Brought it back. No apologies. Just an even exchange. For the couple of extra dollars I will spend, I will start shopping at Publix. Buyer beware.

They recently expanded their natural food isles and they have a large produce and cheese section. There is a sushi bar with some prepackaged options. Decent beer choices. Much better overall than the Kroger on Middlebrook Pike and Cedar Bluff.

We just moved here and don’t have Kroger on the west coast but we thought we would go try it today, I am so glad we did! The lady who checked us out was so patient with me while I figured out the new (to me) WIC system. They were so kind and helpful. Great customer service.

Has very good stock but has a very confusing layout, while we were traveling we left the nightlight and toothpaste in another hotel, we also had to stock up on picnic supplies for hiking the following day, sounds simple right? The items were in very illogical places, there were two isles with drinks far apart from one another, the place was spotless and the workers were friendly, but the confusing layout is my biggest complaint.

This location is my go to grocery store. Fuel center. Large wine selection. Organic foods, deli, Starbucks. Short check out lines, many self Check out stations- about 10 more added recently, also handeld scanners "Scan, Bag, Go" lets you use your smartphone to scan items as you shop.

This has been our grocery store since it opened. We enjoy the selection especially the simple truth lines. We also like that we get fuel discounts buying groceries that we have to get already. The fuel pumps on site are easy to get to as well. Was sad to see the bank go, I know it helped a lot of non traditional workers with its late hours.

Always a great experience. As everywhere, you can run into a single employee that isn't helpful, but you can't escape that in *any* major grocery chain. Clean store, reasonable prices, abundance of supplies--even have a bank inside the store--and generally helpful employees.

During busy times (like today, weekend), Kroger employees with their carts shopping for "pick up" customers get in the way. Despite the larger store, too much stuff is crowding isles again too. Not enough checkout lanes staffed this weekend. Suggestion: since prices include employee payroll - give discount at register for those patrons who don't use Kroger employees for checkout and instead opt for self checkout. This is usually done, I've noticed, when not enough checkout lanes are staffed or backed up. Also, Kroger could carry more varieties of a particular product. I find myself frequently having to go elsewhere for a variety of things.

Honestly, this Kroger has been wonderful since our move to independence. Even the teenagers who I know domt necessarily want to be working on a Friday night are so helpful and kind. To the woman who was so kind to us going through the checkout when my 1 year old was fussing, thank you. Giving her stickers was so sweet. Clean, easy and convenient. I love having a Marketplace so close to home. Workers are friendly. Unfortunately my last visit there, the cashier had to leave in the middle of checking me out (he was a minor and I guess there is a law that keeps him from working past a certain time) and another cashier took over but she was also running the remote for the self-checkouts and was very distracted and ended up forgetting to give me my receipt (UGH). Nobody was there to bag my items, so I bagged my own with a crying 2 month old in my other arm.... that was stressful.

This is a good marketplace Kroger with a fairly good selection of organics, which is my primary purpose for shopping here. They organize everything together, instead of separating organics and while foods out from the rest, which I find a lot more convenient, so I don't have to go to an entirely different area to see the total selection of products of similar type. I do wish they had more allergy friendly products, but they are getting better with their meat department, so progress is being made. Still better than traveling north and paying the crazy prices of other specialty grocers.

Krogers at Cedar Bluff and Kingston Pike is a great store. It is truly a one-stop-shop everything from nail clippers to lottery tickets and they even throw in food in the middle. They have a gas station that you can use your points at and Save on Petro. Very busy lots of customer traffic.

This Kroger mixes the organic brands with non organic, which I find makes it more difficult for me to find the brands I want. I frequently feel like I have to go on a scavenger hunt each time I visit. They carry some of the brands I love, but not all, so I still have to regularly go to other Kroger locations to complete my shopping needs.

I've never had to wait at the fuel center. It's my go to shop even if it is out of my way (I commute past 3 others every day).
