I enjoy the convenience of the commissary. I wish their prices where a little more competitive with other big box stores. Customer service is always great! However, I typically drive to Kroger for my "big" shopping.

Nice store with very nice meat. Prices are very reasonable. Only problem with the store is there products arei not consistent. You may find an item for a couple months then all of a sudden they stop carrying it.

As always, it is outstanding, BUT... often when they have a quality product like Smithfield Cajun sausage, they drop the line giving the excuse lack of sales... maybe because other vendors are favored and load down the display area often hiding a superior product. One employee stated there was "gifts to Comm. buyers to favor their products." Could this be true???? Possible???

This is a great commissary!! We drove down from Salem indiana. A bit of a drive but worth it. It is a nice size updated store with great deals. Sure wish it was closer.

Bought some kraft triple cheese mix on 8.10.19 and on 8.10.19 it was molded. Store needs better checks for freshness. I was very disappointed.

This is your run of the mill commissary, typical prices, typical staff. Most shelves are stocked but some are messy and difficult to navigate. They also seem to have several freezer issues, meaning certain food items were unavailable. The staff is fairly efficient, though sometimes act like they can't be bothered to deak with customers. Checkout is usually quick, but make sure you have your militarh id, otherwise you might be handcuffed and led out in a meatlocker.

Prices are about the same as the other stores near by. They offer some items, that others don't have. you save some money, if your getting a lot of food from there.

Awesome price! However, one Korean lady/staff is not nice n tossed my groceries in the belt right away when I told her I can bag myself. Yes they work for tips but don’t expect customers who shop there the first time know this rule. Plus, the customers don’t owe them money nor get treated with a poopie face!

This is an excellent commissary. We drive from Frankfort Ky to shop here once a month. We stock up on meat, frozen foods and some other items. They always have almost everything we want. We buy Microwave Tater Tots here for .79 each and Kroger charges 1.49 each. One of our big savings because we like them with eggs. Hope to shop here for many years to come. Employees are always very professional and courteous.

It is so annoying when you are in uniform and they ask for your ID that you have to scan before you checkout. Especially when they get rude because you already scanned it. Deals are not that great that someone would dress in uniform just to sneak in

I always love coming to this commissary especially for the fresh meats and vegetables which I believe are a lot better than Wal-Mart or Kroger. I can always find some good buys in the frozen food section and they usually have various things on sale throughout the store. If you go around payday then you may have to wait in line for a cashier but even so it doesn't seem to take that long and they have always been courteous to me. They also take coupons here.

Good products, the prices on most things are good. Variety of things for everyday needs. But one complain is the automatic payment machines, it takes long to pay through there, they need an update. I have to add, in 3 occasions I got food that was going to expire in a couple of days. When it's in the refrigerator section, you expect it to last at least a few weeks from the time purchased. The management needs to pay attention to this things.

Whenever and wherever I travel, I do tend to stop at any Military Commissary to get some fresh food and staples while in the area. Ft Knox Commissary is typical and well stocked (very clean store) with the usual favorites from Boars Head Deli for Sandwiches to other items. Note .. this is a Military Store and to shop here you need Military ID.

This commissary is considered a medium size store. What sets this location aside from others is the friendly employees. Every time I have been there I was treated as a friend rather than shopper. Ft. Knox has a great community of retirees living on base so you won’t feel the rush on payday as much . Monday the store is closed. Parking so far has been no problem.

I bought some white vinegar from this store. I don't remember why, but now I have 10 gallons of white vinegar sitting in my bathroom. Not sure why it's sitting in my bathroom. If I end up needing white vinegar, I have enough for the whole barracks and some leftover for a white vinegar bath. Five stars!
