REVIEWS OF Findlay Market IN Kentucky

Meredith Wronowski

Excellent farmer's market with a mix of restaurant and food stalls. Offerings include pizza, Latin and South American, and Eastern European cuisine, and desserts as well as local butcher, cheese, and produce stalls. On the weekends you can …

Great spot to check out outside of downtown Cincinnati in the Over the Rhine neighborhood. There are several old school meat shops and a seafood stand besides the produce offerings. Several places offer prepared food: it ranges from sandwiches to burritos and lobster bisque to Belgian waffles. I opted for the smoked salmon baguette and some locally roasted coffee. Good for people watching, out of towners mingling with locals.

Findlay is one of the best things you can do if your spending a weekend in Cincinnati. You can either park in their lot, or it’s not a bad walk or a short trolley ride from Washington Park. This place is particularly fun on the weekends because lots of vendors come in and set up shop. Most of them are food related, but on a Saturday you might find local artists as well. We definitely have some favorite places that we like to eat - Eli’s for their ribs, Mavericks for some fancy chocolate truffles or go to the main inside market and grab a gyro that is absolutely stuffed with meat!

Jeremiah Huff

First time being at Findlay Market. It is the end of October, so the outside vendors were few. I was told during the warmer months there are several more vendors. We liked the variety of food, both ready to eat and food to take home to prepare for yourself. All types of meats, breads, vegetables, desserts, coffees, etc. Urbana Cafe had awesome coffee. Picked up a fresh, huge Torta. Pumpkin chess pie, blueberry scone, German Chocolate cake. We also picked up peanut noodles to go. Add some chicken when we get home and we have a full meal. Like I said, I'm sure the warmer months are busier and have way more traffic and vendors. Still highly recommended for the variety, the atmosphere and the food.

Findlay market is the perfect place to go with family and friends. It's open air market has much to offer, from their fresh meat delis to artisan jewelry and lotion on the outside. I would highly recommend findlay market to anyone visiting …

ROBERT TAKAC

Man favorite food experience in Cincinnati - much like the Westside Market in Cleveland. Great place to find very fresh meats, bread and local vegetables. Also close to unique restaurants and cafes. Don’t miss this place if you visit Cincinnati.

Kelly Honey

Love Love Love this place. I wish we had a market like this where I live. I love the Taste of Belgium waffles and crepes. So much cool stuff to look at and eat. Anytime we’re in Cincinnati we have to stop at Findley’s.

Revitalizing Youth Inc

One of my favorite places to shop for foods that I cook and spots to grab a snack. This place has been here in this city for many years, and the locals state that it is one of the most visited markets across the U.S. I would definitely …

Tim Curry

Love it. Wish I could get there more often. Most, if not all vendors are directly involved in the raising or making of their food, fruit, flowers, etc. About 150 years old, indoor and outdoor vendors and seating. Like an old town square all …

This was an AMAZING experience

Sophia Gordon

I love this place! It's wonderful to walk through and shop local flairs. We sampled everything they offered and brought home some of our favorites. Fresh produce was abundant, so bring your shopping bags for your healthy eats. It's pet friendly, bring only friendly pets! There are great restaurants, and mom and pop stores and shops that offer intercontinental items. Fish market, meat market, clothing, leather items, flowers, sweets, doggy treats, plus more. It's a wonderful outing for families, dates and just time for yourself. Go!

David Matheus

Very nice place, reminiscent of European markets where you can find premium food products and sweets to buy or just simply walk around and admire. Very nice places around to eat too, I would definitely recommend Eli's BBQ!

Clay Adams

Many changes from previous years. Pricing is above average across Cincinnati. The demographic it focuses on will pay higher prices because there are very few alternatives within a reasonable distance except the UC Kroger.

Stacey Whewell

Great market in downtown Cincy with lots of fresh and delicious options. You can come in for lunch or pick up some groceries or buy a unique gift.

Tim Thomas

The best open market I've ever attended and large selection of produce. Always fresh.....

Forestine Blake-Jackson

Every time we travel to Cincinnati this is our first and last stop. It's a friendly atmosphere and it feels like a farmer's market. There are many local vendors with homemade goods including jeweley, lotions, breads, produce and other things. There's a guitar playing veteran who sings for his supper. I LOVE the place.

Location: In the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Parking is available in various lots (not sure if these are free) but on a Saturday, they looked pretty busy!). The place: Cincinnati's oldest market is spread out across one big square (closed to cars). You'll find plenty of food shops where you can buy cheese or bread, produce, chocolate - you name it. Personally, I thought this might be a good place to find some local goodies of the non-food variety, but this wasn't the case. During the week, it's not very busy, but on weekends, it's a whole other story. I stopped by on a Saturday and the vibe was great - amidst the hustle and bustle, there were Christmas carolers and a black Santa blasting Christmas music. Loved it! Service: Depends where you go. Price point: Depends what you buy. While you're there, check out the great murals that are scattered about.

Dominic Maga

Always love going to Findlay Market. Great place to grab some unique meats, cheeses, produce, and seafood. Or better yet, go around lunchtime and get a won de are up bite to eat, if its a Sandwich, or waffle, or Gyro, or burrito, you can never go wrong.

Sherry Mclennon

Absolutely awesome. Love all the local businesses. Definitely check out Graysons

Jeremy

1/3 of this market is butcher counters. I'm still unsure if those served food or not. It's a cute little market with lots of food options. There's a duck hunt game that we really enjoyed, there are 25 ducks hidden and we spent some time …

On the Way with the Waychoffs

There are a lot of shops and market type foods to buy. The buildings are beautifully restored, nice photo ops. However, the neighborhood it is located in is not the best. We found locals looking in our car windows, and homeless people hanging around at the market. Overall, if you're looking for some unique food items, you can probably find it at the market, so you may want to check it out.

Laura Michaels

We love visiting Findlay Market when we are in town. The atmosphere is great and the food is fresh and delicious. Lots of food choices as well.

Cheryl Morgan

I gave three stars because of parking. The lot I parked in was $5.00. A couple of weeks ago I only paid $2.00 to park. Five dollars is a lot of money when all I planned on doing was shopping at my favorite meat stand.

Joe Van Tassel

Nice variety of vendors and store fronts. Great mix of food options, including farmers market options when we were there (Sunday morning)

Melissa Hallinan

If you’re visiting Cincinnati you have to go to Findlay! There are tons of food options, so everyone can find something they like & there are even fresh meats, seafood, pasta etc. that you can take home & cook yourself. It really is a catch-all place. And even though it’s very busy inside & can be hard to move around, I never had to wait long at any of the places I ordered from. They also have stalls outside with goods ranging from fresh fruits & veggies to home decor, jewelry & more.

Steven Vaughn

What a great market!! Lots of vendors with some really cool offerings. The vendors are cool, but that is not a surprise. Small business owners who operate in the market environment usually are. Thoroughly enjoyed walking through --- …

Michael Knepfle

Love the place. So much to see. A must if you do a lot of cooking.

LaVonda Chapman

I absolutely fell in love with Findlay market & can't wait to visit Cincinnati again just to go back! From the smells of all the different spices & foods, the architecture, the friendly vendors & just the entire vibe of the market was so welcoming & vibrant!

Lori Stehlin

Always interesting and delicious items. Plants. Meat. Cookies. Olive oil. Spices. Ice cream. Fruits Guaranteed to buy something!

Marty Crawford

Whether you're shopping, sightseeing, or stopping for food/beer Findlay market is a glimpse into the history of the city. Try the waffles at taste of Belgium.

Kathleen Jenkins

Lots of fresh meats and produce along with all sorts of vendors. Stopped at mama made it kettle popcorn. Never thought there would be a better popcorn than Gattetts out of Chicago, but Mama has done it. Also the lemonade is a must. It was truly the BEST lemonade I have ever had.

Sarah Riley

Rock and Rolls in Findlay Market 10/10 amazing. Who would have thought the buffalo chicken would be perfect for egg rolls

Luke Fisher

Great frog legs. Awesome grits and shrimp. Tasty duck too. They have lots,od traditional Midwest cooking too if you aren't feeling adventurous.

Veronica Murphy

Fun place to visit and shop. I love the spice store and the tea shop

Julia G.

Always such a lively, active, and colorful place for anyone of any background to be. Whether solo, with kids, wandering aimlessly, or on a mission to get groceries, there is something for everyone. Almost everything is local so you can feel good about spending money. Products range in price, but again there is something for everyone (coffee, bagel, cheese, wine, tea, fruit, pies, handmade crafts, hot sauces, leather goods, oils, etc). Friday-Sunday are definitely the most busy and active days for a good taste of the culture. Highly recommend.

Cody Crooks

Findlay Market was a huge market. There isn't much that you can't find here. In the morning it was fine but as the day went on...the more crowded it got. If you are staying nearby it is an okay spot to pop in and wander or grocery shop. Also lots of neat places around within walking distance.

Kyle Eros

New York strip steaks are better quality, thicker cut and cheaper than Kroger or Walmart.

Ryan Faulise

Pretty Awesome Market w/ anything and everything you need and many yummy things inbetween that you'll probably enjoy as well..

John Cortez

This place is one of a kind and a must see. More than just a market, you can definitely spend a few hours here. With plenty of butchers and fish mongers to choose from you’re guaranteed to find the meat you need. There are plenty of local artisans, crafts, and unique restaurants try. They even have a store just for pets. Take an afternoon and check it out!

Crystal Taylor

I absolutely loved this market! So much to see and so many ethnic choices! Can't wait to com back!

IA LS

Visited this yesterday. Love this market. Finding a parking space is a little hassle but not too bad. Love the selection of meats and seafood inside the building. Outside you will find vegetables, some fruits and other stuff.

Brittany Keller

So many amazing local vendors. The art is amazing and the community is coming together

Jason Stewart

Very cool place. Fun time walking around and checking out the various stands with my wife. Fresh meat and veggies. Live music and beer. Cant get any better.

David Garner

What a wonderful place to visit. We have 4 children all under 10 yrs of age. They had fun picking out lunch, and being a Wednesday afternoon it wasn't too busy. I think my wife and I would have had more fun going there on a date night, than as a visit with the kids, but if going with kids I would definitely recommend during the day. It's a great place for food whether to eat then and there or to take home and cook later.

lenny crave

A true market where you can find a variety of produce, meats, desserts and spices. It definitely has something for everyone, if not inside then around it! Getting there with the Bell Connector is super easy and definitely worth the trip.

Clifford Riegler

Great market... some of the stores have selections that are second to none... All the stores are independently owned.. no chain presence in the market... weekends typically have the farmers market and this time of year there are lots of veggies available. Suggest you give it a try...

Jason Hammonds

Excellent experience visiting Findlay Market. Great variety of produce and meats. Enjoyed the spice counter as well for high quality spices. Outdoor live music set a nice vibe for a sunny Sunday afternoon with the wife. Will be back for sure.

Amy Wilson

Blew me right out of the water! It was fabulous! So much to choose from and the food made on sight is out of this world crazy delicious! We will be back from Indiana

Lufa's Assistant

Colonel D's be spices will set you up correctly to make the most flavorful food!

Joseph Pannunzio

Gyro for lunch. Got some lunchmeat cuts for sandwiches and a six-pack for later. Always feel welcome here. Easy in Easy out.

Hari Swaminathan

Great place to hang out on a Sunday and have some beer and try some local street food.

Tanya G

Love this Cincinnati treasure. Great open air market, excellent fresh produce and unique restaurant options.

Jason Spears

Always fresh food. Go to Niels stand for your meat. It is on the south corner on Elm Street side on the inside. He has the best prices and the freshest meats. All his employees are great friendly and awesome. The best meat store in the market by far.

Andrea Lippucci

Cute and really clean. Everyone is super nice and you can't beat the quality of the produce and fish!

Lori Andrews

The man at the produce market was amazing! He helped me when I lost my phone and called me when I left my travel bag! The prices there are fabulous, too!

Derek Dishman

Highly recommend Finlay Market. Great atmosphere and great food. If you are grilling out especially surf and turf... best place around with great prices!

Rachel Hester

Findlay Market is an amazing place. I love all the vendors and that I can buy local foods. It is such an wonderful atmosphere!

Carlton McGee

I really liked this area. An eclectic area, with interesting architecture, variety of people, places to eat and buy stuff. It is the oldest and last remaining Market from around 1900. I will be going back. My wife liked it as well.

Sarah Karch

As always the variety and liveliness of the market was a great time. We bought a variety of tasty items and enjoyed the live music and sharing several delicious eats from elotes, to gyros, to lumpia.

dawn tindall

My husband and I stopped in on our way out of cincinnati. We were only an hour from home, so after browsing, drinking coffee and eating brunch, we bought our groceries for the week. There are multiple butchers, bakeries, and produce …

Ed Buckner

Very busy on a beautiful Saturday. Lots of variety. Very interesting.

Diane Wyborski

Everything you might possibly need from candles to cobbler, fresh fish to fajitas! Nice crowd on a Thursday and so much to look at and drool over!

H Ward

Highly recommend. Love this place! Be prepared for a whole lot of people in a small space. This is mostly shopping space, little walking/standing areas. Well worth the trip. Lots of fresh foods, meats, cheeses, spices, breads.

ada pineiro

Love Findley Market, there is something for everyone! Go ahead and try the arepas place it's to die for. They make it right there on the spot.

Carol

We loved our visit here! Fun shopping! Lots of great food! Great place to have lunch! Locals were shopping here! Kind venders!!

Bobbe Wright

We wanted to experience local market and Findlay Market fit the bill. In the historic part of town, with multiple vendors of produce, meat, restaurants, plant, ethnic foods, and lots more. Aesthetically pleasing with vibrant colors open air outside seating and and right on the tram stop. The only drawback is restrooms are in rough shape.

Olivia Wilkin

Real quick first visit from Dayton. Great meat selection and prices. Great spice store and produce vendors. Bringing an ice pack next time to take home meats and sausages.

Ron Wulker

An American gem! People and foods from all walks of life. A great place to find great people, food, drinks and atmosphere.

Belinda Price

One of the "must sees" for any traveler to Cincinnati. The variety of food is wonderful...and be sure to also visit the surrounding shops. Very highly recommend.

Mark Halloran

Findlay Market is great to explore, but it was mostly closed the evening I was there for Blink.

LaFonda Hatchett

There is truly no place like Finlay Market. It's a great place to shop for food and other products. It's also great if you just want to sit and have a nice meal. Lots of friendly smiling faces from the vendors to the customers. I absolutely love it!!!

Maria Polo

Loved it there was tons of parking close to the actual market. It is kind of a narrow space so it can get easily crowded. So many options the food is great and there are bakery's close by.

Angela Steinhaus

Very nice area with lots of booths for the restaurants and bars in the area for this year's Blink Cincinnati! They even had live music set up on one end!

Mike B

The most iconic Cincinnati owned tradition... except for the Reds. Exceptional market and area unlike anywhere else. You need to go here if you visit. If you live here, go ever week. Shout out to the people who run this place...

Jesse Kaylor

Wow what can I say! Want to find a bunch if awesome food options? Need some new spices? Choice of fine meats? Worldly desserts? Here it is in the heart of Cincinnati!

Rick Riordan

Used to love Findlay, but has gone downhill the past year. Vendors that have been there for years, gone, empty stalls, and the surrounding area has not gotton better, cant see all the good reviews, must be their first time, wont be back.

Amae87

Fun walk. Great businesses and the food selection is awesome!

mistycarnrite

What a delightful place to spend the morning! We nibbled our way through various food stands enjoying the most delicious food ~ it was like a tapas brunch. Colorful, quaint, a lovely place to wander and people watch.

Nate Dietel

Some great independent food sources in regards to meals available inside. Produce is not bad on the weekends but essentially just people selling kroger the rest of the time. A gem of cincinnnati, I appreciate its existence.

John Sanker

This is a wonderful smaller version of Quincy Market in Boston. Vendors with all kinds of produce, meats, cheeses, bakery items. Food to order and eat there or take home. Nice seating with tables. Often there are street performers.

Daniel Kanarek

Awesome open air market with vegetable stands outside & small kiosks outside. Great selection of food & Butcher counters inside.

Daryl M

Toured the shops, purchased some heirloom-style brats from the good people at. Eckerlin Meats. Highly recommend them.

K. Sl.

This market is freshly dubbed as conveniently located in historical Over The Rhine (OTR'S) downtown hub. Because I'm so familiar with the market and know what it has to offer I love it for the many conceptions of fresh and newer FOOD …

Marianne Navin

Findlay is always a good time. Pet Wants has a great selection of Dog Treats. Grandma Debbie’s has the BEST Burgers and Goetta Casserole. Go during the week and parking is FREE! Arnold should be paid to sing. He has a beautiful voice.

Ben Schwantes

This is what a public market should look like. Great selection of vendors for grocery items plus prepared foods and a spot for enjoying a beer or cider as well. Clean and organized. Lots of interesting food and retail spots in the surrounding blocks too. Definitely worth a visit.

Chris Chavez

Best market I've ever been to. Plenty to see here, lots of fresh meat, eggs, chicken and they have plenty of fresh seafood. Awesome, amazing, I wish I had more time to sample everything.

Branden Funderburg

Awesome local vendors, farmers market and fresh meat and produce. Parking can be a challenge. Usually outdoor food vendors in addition to the regulars inside.

Kelly Clark

Findlay Market offers many great foods, but the meats that we buy there stand out the most. Delicious! The customer service and atmosphere are awesome as well.

Ashly Sass

Sat outside in the Biergarten and enjoyed some great ribs from Eli's!

Jennifer Cooper

The market is quite charming. When the market is doing well your community is doing well. Plus public transportation is great in downtown Queen City

Danielle Vizgirda

This is a must visit place for locals and Visitors! You can buy fresh bread, salads, local lunch meat and sausages and so much more! Come hungry and eat at some of the best places in town.

Jason Bradley

Definitely a must see location in Cincinnati. Located in historic Over-The-Rhine, home there since the 1850's, an awesome place to visit. There is so much there to see and experience lots of different vendors to choose from, a variety of foods, meats and produce. Always have a great experience there.

karin brooks

Got a pretty crystal necklace. Also some food. Always satisfied when I come here!

Matt Wagner

What a great place! There is wonderful variety of foods to sample and many artisans visit. It’s a fun way to spend a few hours.

Cheryl Comparativo

Findlay Market has a great vibe and great products! From the permanent shops and stands selling specialty items, baked goods, meat, prepared foods and much more to the temporary stalls full of fresh produce and flowers - there's always something wonderful to be found.

D. Mullins

Not impressed. Overpriced flea-market atmosphere in my humble opinion. A hot dog here cost 5 times what the Kroger a couple blocks away would charge...

Frances Grimes

So much to choose from and enjoy. Have lunch while shopping. Find fresh fruits and vegetables, hand made items, plants, imported foods and much more.

Bobby Acoff

Shop who won the Wii and all the weekend superb what happened no other way grew up right here Findlay Market set up selling shopping bags
