The store is crowded, isles are narrow, not easy to keep clean because of high traffic and long lines. Be wary of odors fresh sea food option inside and other multiple fresh food options. Price $

It was a decent store, with a decent selection of produce, meats and fish. It's main focus was on only a few regions. I am used to shopping at Jungle Jim's and finding things from all over the world. The location is a bit of a bear to get to and the parking was ridiculous. The layout of the store is very packed too. The prices were decent though and I did not feel like I was paying inflated prices due to the rare selection of produce and such. The two eateries inside the store offer fantastic selections of food. They were the highlight of the store for me. I would recommend visiting this store just to say you have been here. I would rather shop at Jungle Jim's though.

This was a great experience of a multi-culture environment! Not the cleanest place but you can find Asian, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, African foods all in one spot! The diversity of fruits, vegetables and meats was incredible. It is not Marsh or Kroger’s!

Saraga has a wonderful selection of hard to find, international ingredients, including but not limited to African, Turkish, Asian, and Latin American foods. This is a one-stop grocery store. The produce is worth it alone, along with fresh seafood. But, navigating through the store can be tricky with narrow aisles and busy crowds. Saraga is an icon of Indy.

Not for the faint of heart. There are some smells you won't smell anywhere else. However, they do have a large selection of lots of products you won't find anywhere else. We tend to stick to the dry foods. We've always been reluctant to buy frozen or cooled items, not sure why.

Imagine a grocery where Turkish coffee, fresh fruit from all around the globe and row after row of delicious international snacks await. A good place to visit on the westside of Indianapolis and to pick up ingredients for Korean, African and Japanese dishes. I will be back to explore in more detail the next time I host one of my global pitch-in dinners.

One of the very few international grocery stores in the Indianapolis area. The store was clean and well organized. Aisles are separated by world regions; which, makes it very easy to find what your looking for. The prices were much less than we had experienced at similar stores in other states. We were very pleased with the variety of items. We will be visiting again.

Large international grocery. Don't be intimidated, all are welcome. It's fun to go and just look around. Tons of candy, soda, and snacks you wouldn't find anywhere else. Fresh fish market, nice butcher area, fresh fruit and veggies from around the world.

Went in just to look around and seen they had a pork shoulder that was miss marked so I got it and they would not sale it to me for the price that was marked on it that is not my fault I should have been able to get it for the price that was marked in it not how you bo business

I love the variety of everything here. Produce, meat, frozen, & dry goods from all over the world. Stuff you can't find at most grocery stores. My only issue is that their bathroom was really dirty which makes me question the cleanliness of the rest of place.

The place let's you cook goumet for cheap!!!!!!! Once you learn the lay out you can feed your families a international ,tastey,bit of the world and love every moment of it! And DO NOT FORGET TO GET A SLICE OF FLAN THERE!!!!!!!!! Only complaint I have is the service at the registers but otherwise still worth it!!

Wow! There is just something much here. So many cultures represented! I love the fact that they have a halal market. The produce section is very large with fruits and veggies from all around the world. I have found so many things here that I cannot get at any other store. There are restaurants inside as well so you can have lunch there.

Got fish at Saraga.. Service was very bad.. I requested the person to cut the pieces to small size and also told I don't want the head and to pack it separately since I bought some for my friend also. That particular person who worked on my buy didn't hear any of my requests .. I strongly recommend not to go for the fish section and customer service is very disappointing..

Favorite market in Indy. Though it's not the most thorough of all the sections (Asian & other latin am foods dominate), the fact that it even has a Brazilian food section is amazing for my wife and me. We can get several of our favorite foods that you can't find at most other supermarkets. The staff is busy but helpful when you need them. The taco spot near the produce is the real deal.

Even a small town hick like myself had no problems finding everything he needed with a little investigative effort. I found myself wandering the isles, marvelling at all the food stuffs I had never encountered before. Coming from the homogenized confines of a milky white cultural origin, enjoying the vast multitude of cultures represented in the many individuals wandering the isles with me was half the fun. It made me realize what a wonderful and culturally diverse city the west side of Indy has become.

I bought a bag of buns three days ago. This is what I got from Saraga. I used to trust this supermarket. Not anymore. Those buns are produced by chi MRI foods co. I cannot locate the exp date even though they said "show on the package".

This is a great place to shop international food items and meat. There are a lot of variety from plenty of countries.. I get more Indian products here than at any Indian stores. The vegetables and fruits selection is also very good. Plenty of international vegetables as well. The fish selection is excellent, you will get good quality and a diverse variety of fish here.

Great place to shop, if you some inexpensive or exotic food. Dont go on a Saturday or Sunday, there are too many people and it can be frustrating to shop. I went on a Tuesday and it was a breeze, in and out within minutes.

Poorly organized. I was looking for tea, which is on shelves in at least 4 different areas, as are spices. It seems like they started stocking shelves with no idea of what they would be offering, and the, instead of reorganizing when they expanded a product line, they just stuck it on another shelf somewhere else. I found the tea I wanted, finally, after roaming the entire store, and I also bought some gluten free cookies, which I was excited to find. When I opened them, however, I discovered that they were quite stale. I checked the sell by date and it was 5 months past. I might shop there again, but I'd be careful about what I bought.

I also love the fact that I can find all my favor Asian snacks and seasoning. There is also a little asian restaurant and a Mexican restaurant their as well. Saturday are not the best days to go. It is to busy. If you are not from the United States and want to fine food from your country you can find it here, and anything else you want.

This place has an incredible range of produce, seafood, and international products. There's beef (all parts of all animals), chickens, pigs, ducks, and God only knows what other critters. They even have a halal meat section that's separate from the rest. I saw products from all over the world including most countries of the Western hemisphere, Bulgarian cheese, Turkish frozen foods, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and many other countries products. It's a big store with loads of items that aren't found all in one place, if you can find them locally at all

Saraga is a wonderful store for getting international groceries and fresh produces. Price is reasonable. You will get fresh fishes here. Seafood as well as fresh water fishes are available. The fish market area is crowded as they sell fresh fishes. A good place in Indianapolis to get fish and meat for South Asian and African community. Their grocery section is divided by different countries of different continents. The store workers may not speak English well, and you may not see prices mentioned in every places. But considering all the international items available here, it's definitely serving the expats.

This place is amazing. It's literally like a Walmart-sized international grocery store. There are dozens of cuizines you can shop for here. They also have a bakery, food shops, and house items too. The prices are good for imported goods and the selection is just awesome. Definitely check it out if you're looking to expand your pantry!
