As you know, we do not usually stop to place tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Fruit Store belongs to the category of Indian grocery store.
Indian, Pakistani grocery items easily available. reasonably priced.
We expected patel brothers will maintain same standard at every store they have opened but here we can see the difference. This store has vegetables which are stale and they are very items compared to 82nd street as well as other stores in different states.
Love it. They have everything you want and more.
I visit here once a week. Best place to get anything in Indian groceries
Overall good place. Aisles are small.. produce is not always fresh but pantry items have lot of variety.
Fresh food, great prices & good Indian veggie options.
Good place with almost all Indian groceries. Their chat/snack place is pretty good as well.
Very good choices for vegetables
Nice Indian store.
patel brothers stores in America are meant to be with reasonable prices, but this store is charging more on almost every thing,i revelled 15 miles to get paid much than my closest indian store,i defnetly dont recommend this and wont visit again.
So much better than the one in Pineville. Better parking and larger store. Watch out for non indian products being sold here with jacked up prices.
Good place for shopping indian grocery.
Good variety
Good store. You will get almost everything. Problem - most products do not have expiry date. Example, aatta, sarkkara. And many more.
Lot of Variety of Indian Foods, was happy to see products from my Country. Very Spacious and Clean
Usually has everything I need. Fresh produce, plenty of dry and jarred goods, expedient cashiers.
You get mostly all Indian groceries and fresh vegetables. There is a small restaurant inside where you get fresh food , ready to eat. Prices are reasonable.
Our one stop shop for Indian groceries, Nice and helpful staff. The only two thing I would say negative is prices and freshness; due to some what of Monopoly they keep high prices and there is no attempt made to keep vegetables on display to stay fresh.
They have everything! Great Indian grocery store...
Wide variery of South Asian grocery items at decent prices. Wish the produce section was a little fresher.
Best place to buy indian grocery
They started a 99 cents coffee. Its pretty good
Neat arrangement. Bigger kitchen with Pastries option compared to Castleton Patel. Bigger selection of Utensils too. Edit: The chappati/roti made fresh in the kitchen wasnt very soft. Usually, Castleton Patel roti's will be much softer, if you microwave it for 25sec before eating. The one we got from this location become very hard after microwaving. (Reduced to 4 stars)
When is the shop relocating to new address
Good Indian grocery stores, staff is very helpfull. Fresh vegetables, stock of Indian spices. Best part they serve Indian fast food.
Great!
I don't know this place
The best fresh fruit and veggie and great prices
This location has a lot of ayurvedic medicinal items. I love the fresh vegetables and fruit variety they carry. The staff is nice and friendly. Plus, they keep pouring out the fresh samosas regularly. Thank you for the great experience everytime I come yup your store!
All Indian grocery available, good fresh vegetables. Samosa fresh sale at counter r good
Huge store with good collection of Indian grocerry
Love it. It was so cold. I swear my body was well persevered in there. All jokes aside. Patel Brothers is great. Love seeing Tuk tuk. Reminds me of being in India.
Very spacious and nice Indian, south asian grocery and vegetables super center. Have all most all of the things, from wide range if Indian grocery needs. Have a on shop bakery corner. Freshly made rotis, samosa, patties & puff other snacks. Eat in or take out both available
Fun stuff. Great if you need Indian specific ingredients.
More or less all indian products are available. But not good for non-vegetarian
It's a good place to get desi stuff but recently bought some kesar mangos unfortunately most of them are rotten.
The grocery provides Indian bread, species, vegetables and fruits, dry fruits, rice etc with good ambience around the place.
Big indian store with lot of parking, fresh vegetables, fresh cooked samosa and chapati etc. Get all kind of indian rice, dals, and almost all indian grocery items. You can buy most of your indian food items here. Nothing much to complain...Sure you can visit.
Perfect place to buy very reasonably priced indian food items
Some products are expired keep an eye on the dates. Produce and spices are great.. no questions there. The new chats section is not good, again the tables are not cleaned and the quantity is bad! Irony is "Dahi puri had no Dahi in it"
I thought I had written a review for this place! Let me say that I absolutely LOVE this place!! If you've been to the other Patel bros you'll know why! This place is huge and spacious! They have a lot more fruits and vegetables than the other. They also have a section with fresh nan, chapati, paratha, chai, snacks. The paneer tikka roll is delicious! They even had batata vada, which was soooooo good!! We bought all the ones they had! They had the Deep jalapeno cheese samosa's last time I came but not this time :( I love this place and will definitely be coming here instead of the other Patel brothers!! It's totally worth checking out!
I was very impressed with the store. As a very American American, I was a little nervous going in, but I needed some spices for a recipe I couldn't find elsewhere. The store was extremely well maintained, clean and organized. I was able to find what I needed and looked around a bit. I will definitely be back as I continue to explore Indian food.
Good place
Good. You will get almost all indian groceries. But needs patience for unorganized Billing Counters during peak time. Also beware of old stock, always check the dates.
I love going here whenever I'm in town. There is such a wide assortment of raw ingredients and prepared foods.
Very nice place
It is small compared to it's other location but you can find most of the things here
Good for desi groceries
Close to Walmart for a complete shopping
Prices are a bit higher than other international stores
Best for Indian groceries and fresh vegetables. One get fresh Samosa(1 for 1$) and Roti too.
Do not buy kitchen ware here, they are faulty and these guys don’t take returns or exchange . Pressure cookers especially are completely faulty.
Love it. Great location. Many items. Reasonable price.
It is one of the very few indian stores at Indianapolis. You will find most of the indian groceries here.
I definitely do want to bring to everyones notice that their products are expired and they cover expiry dated one with new dated labels. i bought KURKURE and it is expired in NOVEMBER, 2018 but their new label says unexpired. Guys, please do check expiry dates of every product you buy always. I have pictures of it but don’t know how to post pictures...
Good place for Indian vegetables and spices.
You can get all the vegetables, but other groceries, such as coffee, tea, pickles or any packed products are mostly expired. They erase the manufacturing date for many such products. Be aware and be sure that any product that does not have manufacturing date is definitely expired
An average indian grocery shop. You will find most of the stuff you are looking for.
One of the best shop to buy Indian groceries
Lovely shop for Indian commodotiy
A great Indian store, it has all of the things you would expect from an Indian store. One of the better produce selections I've seen at Indian stores around here. No organic options though :-(
There's a great selection for what we need. It's usually not super busy if you go on the weekdays. The food made in store is really good too!
Except the point that there product range limits to SWAD, it's a decent place for Indian grocery shopping.
Nice and big indian grocery store and nice location
Good for my weekly veggies and snacks.
Bigger shop with full range of items availability.
My family and I love this store. It is super nice the variety of the rice. We eat soo much rice and beans. And when we see these sections our eyes pop out. Not to mention the amazing price on their extra virgin olive oil
I am being so hateful to the store after I found that the stores is really charging the customers for something that was not bought. There may have been such overcharge before too, but I never checked the receipt. Last time when I was checking out, the cashier was about to charge me for two bags of 20 pound rice, while I was taking only one bag. I caught the cashier doing that but she said it was by mistake, but seemed intentional to me! This is ridiculous! I used to love shopping there but I hate it now!!!
Good place for Asian food and spices. You will find anything you want. It just needs extra staff.
A place where you get all your Indian delicacies served from frozen fish to a large variety of loose snacks. It is great that the owners have taken a decision to open such a store near the university place. Students and many other ppl find it beneficial. Also the quality and stock is really exclusive. You will find all the items that you may wish to have.
New store. Very clean. Just one thing need to improve. Gap between two sides of Aisle
Excellent place for all day to day food and domestic items for Indian community. Good Customer Service..
They got everything u need for Indian cooking . I'm glad they got groceries for cuisines from all parts of India covered.
A good place to get Indian groceries. A little expensive for some of the basics such as Milk, Cucumbers, etc. The place is a little clumsy. The other Patel Bros is much spacious than this one. They have samosas which is quite yummy.
They have lots of variety but u need be super careful. After paying u will notice u ended up paying more. For almost 5 or 6 items they charge extra 2 or 3 dollars
Lady at the eat-in counter was very helpful.... Explained to us what's in samosa and Kati roll... Delicious! The sauces are delicious too! Store is clean and things are labeled pretty well.
Almost all indian items found here. If you are ready to soend, you could create little India in your kitchen
Get most of groceries from India , unbiased for north south east & West Indian popular items. Sweets was not good sometimes stock is out & it takes months to get fresh. It would be good if start home delivery option
Nice stuff and variety but not expensive.
Best store. Very good products. Well maintained and managed. Friendly and helpful staff. You get very good Asian grocery choices.
Like this place to shop for groceries
Well designed, organised and spacious store than earlier location. Everything in place and place for everything, good cooperative staff. Well displayed items and mostly covers all Indian items.
Finding all Indian Grocery items with very economic price compared to other grocery stores in Indiana
Must check the Expiration date of the product you are buying. Do not expact refund or replacement of item if you don't work hard or pushed hard with owners. Due to lack of competition of Indian Groccery store, management don’t consider real customer service agenda.
One of best sources for cheap Indian groceries
I miss some brands here, but they keep very fresh vegetables. Recent addition- Indian auto-rickshaw is kept as to give us more feel of being in India. Like the idea.
Good store to shop for Indian grocery.
What I love about the store is everything fresh and the store itself is very clean unlike other desi stores
Great products at great prices
All indian stuff at one place
Wide variety of Indian grocers and fresh veggies.
This is probably one of their largest stores. Has most of the day to day stuff we need. Really like their 'mini eatery' serving freshly cooked samosas, vada pav, kati rolls, kachori and chat items. The prices are reasonable for those.
Good quality but very expensive
One of the best organized Patel Brothers I've seen by far. They go above and beyond to include Indian artifact (rickshaw) to increase ambience in the store.
All type of indian grossary avaible Nice shopping exp.
Very good frozen options. Can get everything. If you go at the end of the day Sunday, chances are the vegetables are all over and either they open fresh vegetable bags or they don't at all. So you can get no veggies at all or get really good ones.
It had a lot of variety
Great big Indian store. A lot under one roof. If you want a friendly and personalized experience visit the smaller stores. Prices at these ethnic stores are pretty much the same.
Veggies are pretty good every time I go
Just saw a staff member cleaning the fruit stands with windex sparing the fruits along with it. (Apples on the side in picture) I wish there was a way to post a video but please make sure you guys wash your fruits well. So no one gets sick or don’t buy them here. This was the area he was doing it at.
One stop shop for all Indian grocery shopping...
Indian but some old items
Excellent place to shop indian groceries. Nicely arranged as well as neat and clean. Love the vada pav here.
Great place for anything Indian. Not too big and not too crowded. Friendly staff, very good prices and great selection. Highly recommended. My favorite destination for getting spices, veggies and related stuff.
I love this store because of the variety of products available. Fresh herbs and spices available in an assortment of sizes!
I love this place. They have almost everything I needed.
Great frozen naan bread stuffed with spinach and cheese, $1.99
you'll find almost everything you need!
All the required Indian groceries, vegetables, snacks, sweets, ayurvedic medicines are easily available, more spacious...many more things.
Excited to see so many types of Indian vegetable Bean's #spicygreenbeans
This Indian store has high quality products unlike the other ones in the locality who sell products that has been expired. They have wide range of products which comes from different parts of India to select from.
Limited brands seems like trying to push one brand in lot of categories. Not a fan one star for snacks category at least in that category they seem to carry better options.
All sorts of Indian food and vegetables one can get
Food at affordable rates! Love their collection and all year availability of nan, kulcha, roti/chapati, yogurt/dahi, snacks and sweets!
Fantastic place if you are looking for Indian food products. It is set up like a grocery store and the aisles are wide and so much to look in each aisle. The produce looked fresh and there was plenty. They also had a bakery with freshly made breads and pastries. And they also sold things in bulk. The freezer section has lots of options also. My favorite part was the spices aisle! They had everything and the prices were reasonable too. I will definitely go back and highly recommend.
Clean store with friendly staff. Fresh produce and good variety of foods.
Cashier was a little rude
The other store in town is better
I love this store
Highly organized. They have mostly all the required indian food ingredients required for cooking.
They had exactly what I was looking for and were friendly helping me find it. They're moving midsummer to 38th street.
Found mold in large red onions bag. They look good from outside but after you cut open we found mold. Please be careful.
Affordable Indian grocery store in charlotte North university area. They frequently conduct sale close to festival times. The grocery rates are very less compared to other Indian stores and they are very fresh too. They also have a canteen inside selling hot snacks freshly prepared. Parking is free and they have more cashier counter in store compared to other Indian grocery stores in the neighborhood.
Can't exchange something else for kitchen item even with receipt and within 7 days. It doesn't even say in the receipt. Cashier said it says in the kitchen items. I was mad so didn't even went back to check it. Food no exchange is understandable. Kitchen item if it's unused and have receipt within 7 days should be duable!!
Good store. All indian snacks, rice, lentils, floor are at reasonable price. Relatively clean place.
Excellent Indian Grocery store. Availability of indian fast food also...
Great variety of Indian groceries at reasonable prices.
Great place to find authentic Indian food!
Good and great store some are the store sales sex for money Henry Lopez
Nice place for all the Indian goods of groceries and vegetables under one roof
I am building my repertoire of experiences so that I can fairly submit my personal assessment of the business. I have not yet catalogued enough to render evaluation
The best place to buy Indian grocery, also fish from Bangladesh, Pakistani goods, fresh vegetables as always, prepared samosas are delicious, collection of rice, cosmetics, frozen pharata, naan, roti always good
I love finding different foods at places and they had it.
All Indian item in one roof
Good variety of indian pakistani food.
Nice Ondian grocery store
All fruits are rotten inside looks good outside but not inside I’m warning you guys!!
Nice little grocery store, I'm not to familiar with Indian foods but they had quite the selection of spices.
Love this shop. They have all the Indian goods that can be available.
Good spread of Indian tea time snacks
Nice selection of vegetables and beans!
Very competitive prices
Amazing indian grocery store.. you can find everything in there
Incense is dirt cheap. Large product selection.
Very nice staff , always helpful
I love this store of Patel Brothers. It is huge so even on crowded weekend it's never too cramped.you can get everything needed for Indian grocery at one place specially puja items like sugarcane, mango leaves which are very hard to find.Food items in canteen is very delicious. Highly recommend this place.
Cheaper than Indian stores in smaller cities . Has everything you need for Indian cooking. Fresh indian vegetables is its best product
One stop shop for indian veggies, spices, pickles, (nearly) homemade delicious snacks and rotis, and various other pantry items for the north Charlotte area.
Love this place, you can almost all indian things from this store. I usually visit on a Saturday and the vegetables are so fresh. I like the fact that the store is huge and spacious. They have a fresh chapati counter. Not a fan of thick chapatis, but they are a good substitute to a frozen one. Their dry snacks counter is also pretty good.
Little expensive compared to the Atlanta store which we used to go before.
Great place to get Indian spices, snacks, verges! The Castleton area store is bigger, newer and even more variety! In season try the freshly squeezed sugar cane juice with ginger and lemon! Try a slice of jackfruit also! Both locations have Indian restaurants nearby but you can take frozen dinners home too. The frozen dosas, pantra are pretty good when you want something spicy quick and don't know how to cook Indian food.
good all indian foods avaibale more of gujarathi
Good place if you are looking for indiana grocery. If you are looking for something other than indian stuff this may not be the right place to find.
Good for shopping Indian groceries but prices for some of the items are higher than other Indian stores around.
Im not from india but i come here for their variety.... i find myself buying things for recipies and by now i have tried every seasoning there is but indian spices are never a bore. This is a great place to buy your rice..... They need to do better with their selection of incense. Staff was great as well and helpful
Too too too expensive. I come from DMV, and there are a lot of indian stores. Comparatively, they r much more low priced than Patels. Patels, common are the prices fair in ur stores?
Big shopping experience in North Charlotte.... You get all indian groceries in place.. fresh vegetables..
Great selection of indian groceries, nice place , even better and bigger than the old store !!!
Good place. They have almost everything what is needed for Indian cooking, pooja n veneration stuff and other daily need things.
very good range of Indian groceries
Small place with good prices. Patel Brothers on 82nd St has much better supplies than this.
Well as we know, rare foreign foods are hard to get fresh. One the biggest foreign food chains in (indianapolis, in.)- Is located on 34th Lafayette Rd. *****SARAGA***** FROM. Indian, mexican, african, asian, german, italian, etc it goes on and on. Store size is on scale of a full sized walmart..
expensive than other stores in indiana
Nice Indian store in indy
Has a good collection of vegetables, sweets, spices, frozen fish and other Indian grocery items. The Deli section is also good serving nice hot snacks like puffs, samosas etc.
For us as far as I know only Indian food supply. If any other pl. Let me know
clean the store good prices but not very friendly
Love it, a small slice of India and home away from home.
I have obtained some spices from this Patel's branch which I never got it from other Patel's branches or Indian grocery stores as well. Is big, neat and tidy. Fresh and good vegetables available. Adding to the availability of items they also make fresh rotis, snacks and masala tea. I would strongly recommend this place if you want Indian groceries and foods.
I didn't find mirch masala brand chapati there
Price is good. Good for indian subcontinental food
Great place to get Indian/Pakistani spices, frozen foods, and other items. Prices are fair.
Good Indian groceries option
Variety of groceries available Huge selection of items. Good service. Well maintained store. Friendly staff
It has bigger space than other locations! They putting more items day by day! Cleanliness what they need to improve! Need to add more items for food court! Overall good!
They have some really good Indian vegetables which you won't get usually at other Indian stores.
You’ll get almost every Indian grocery you need
It's a best grocery store in our area.speasy& convenient to get all kind of ingredients of Indian food. Otherthan that I have mention it :there is a corner where each & every customer must go for tea, samose , bara . We generally bring Rooti / thepla too from the store. O would say these are very tasty & fresh
They have all spices, vegetables, frozen Indian food. We go here every 2 weeks
Nice place for Indian groceries, we can get great produce with lot of options
The workers are very helpful and polite my client loves going there.
Nice place for Indian groceries. Sells fresh samosa and chai and other snacks.
Trendy location. Food was ok
Best place to find all the Indian Groceries... But be careful while billing. You might be charged for the things u have not purchased.
Good place for everyday Indian groceries
Absolutely essential for India grocery.
Very good indian grocery collection...
This is their new University City branch which is very conveniently located. There are plenty of checkout lines and shopping there isn't rushed even during peak times as the store is well stocked, spacious and efficiently managed. Check it out for fresh produce at reasonable prices. Hopefully their teething pangs will be over soon and the entire store will start functioning at the level Patel Brothers outlets are famous for.
Good for indians
Clean place decent prices for ethnic authentic food
Clean parking lot with lots of space. Inside of store very tidy and spacious. Store clerks and managers throughout store who were readily available to answer questions and help locate products. Really good fresh produce section. The store even offers LARGE fresh Aloe Vera. There is A LOT of merchandise to explore and choose. I shall return.
A wide variety of fresh veggies and Indian snacks with multiple queues for billing gave pleasant experience
Patel brothers was once trusted for quality. Sad it's not anymore. Royal basmati rice they sell is a fraud. To prove it take the rice and soak in water for 10 minutes and drain the water. you will see half the rice is broken bits of rice and the other half is long grain. about 50% is fake basmati rice. Swad sooji is also full of stones. When you cook, you can feel the fine rock content. I hope they fix this as Indian groceries are least inspected by the health department for quality.
Best place to get indian grocery in charlotte .staff is helpful and guide you to where you can find your product.
As good as more and other malls in Hyderabad. We get almost every item except NON VEG.
You dont need a word when you get food from home
The stock is good, but they don't keep meat. They have almost all Western and southern Indian cuisine.
The checkout staff is comically rude to customers. Stay away until they train their staff. One of the frozen items had mold in it.
Good collection of products. Service is fine.
Higher prices, good product range, can use improvement in customer help serices
The produce selection fair but some of it isn't that fresh, however they do have a great selection of dried goods.
Great big Indian store. A lot under one roof. If you want a friendly and personalized experience visit the smaller stores. Prices at these ethnic stores are pretty much the same.
Just another Patel store but I think their price and collection are better from other Indian stores.
Small store, but organised. Good place for Indian vegetables and grocery
All Indian groceries in one place. Customer friendly and good variety of Indian products. They also have a cafeteria/bakery section. Fresh Indian snacks including Samosas, Puff, Pani Puri, Bhel, Vada Pav, Kachori, Papri Chat, Dahi vada, etc...
A little expensive but has everything you need for Indian food in one place
Liked this place.... They prepare fresh roti & curry in the store everyday. Can find all Indian masala items here.
The nicest international grocery store I've ever shopped and have been to many. The produce section is incredible and everything looks great. Massive selection of spices and decent organics as well. Friendly efficient staff.
Rice (basmati) price is higher there than walmart...
The giant of Indian stores you can buy everything Indian from. They have extensive selection of fresh vegetables and Indian groceries. Only reason I deduct one star is that they push there own Swad brand more than other options. They can reduce some prices being the largest chain of Indian Grocery stores
Best selection, excellent service and great low prices. Ample parking.
It is an Oasis to all American Indians and to those who had developed taste for Indian delicacies.
Has almost everything that you will find in a big grocery store in India
This is one of the biggest supermarket for Indian groceries in Charlotte. You should try it once. You will almost everything you can think off.. starting from different spices to blueberries. Prices do vary but they still have best deals available.
The vegetables are of reasonable price but the quality is bit lower than what you would expect at stores like Super G Mart or Sams, but the lentils and everything else is of a good price and quality. The staff is also nice and helpful.
Very cramped and the all space and would recommend their Castleton location.
Fresh vegetables, staff is very helpfull
Be careful, Fraud practices. They are intentionally selling expired products covering the expiry dates with their promotional stickers.
All you get that you are missing from India
Wide range of Indian groceries along with fresh rotis.
Most Pakistani Indian groceries are done here by our family and friends, thank you guys:)
This store is running Medimix Buy1 Get1 Free offer
The Store is very clean and the crew is very helpful. Weekend are very busy there so avoid going there on weekends.
Great Indian grocery store with so many foods I’ve never heard of. It’s quite large for a specialty supermarket, and it was very clean. The staff were courteous and helpful, asking if there was anything in particular we were looking for. There were many types of spices, snacks, and exotic fruits and vegetables. Check it out!
Dear God it smells bad. But it has all the rice i need.
All Indian groceries available here.
