Love this place. Great selection of fruits and vegetables. They have had things I have never heard of or tried until they opened. The fruits and veggies are always displayed very nicely. The store is always clean and the employees are very knowledgeable. They have Organic and non organic sections, so everyone has a choice. Nice selection of bulk nite and dried fruits. Love their homemade salsas and guacamole. I spend more money here than at the grocery store, but not because they are expensive, but because I go in there to buy a few things and come home with a refrigerator full of goodies. You really can't go wrong here.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff first and foremost. Located just outside of downtown Plainfield and offers excellent fresh produce all year long. They offer a point rewards system for discounts and an email club that alerts you of sales throughout the week. Prices are as incredible as the selection of fruits and vegetables available.

Convenient location to get fresh produce in Plainfield. The prices are awesome. The staff is very helpful. There have even been occasions where they do not stock a certain item and the staff worked to see if they could get an order in. That is great customer service. The selection of mushrooms is one of my favorite aspects of the store.

Great deals on produce! Some is a bit of the "scratch n dent" variety, but the value and flavor are tough to beat. Literally, a small basket of fruits or veggies for a couple of bucks. Great selection of organic foods and they definitely have a passion for helping people eat healthier. It can be a little cramped at times under peak customer traffic, but it not really an issue.

I'm so happy we found this small family owned business! We've had trouble over the past 6 years finding fresh, quality produce at any of our local grocery stores. Peter Rubi's produce is always fresh and is offered at unbelievably low prices. We pay more for the same products at the grocery stores and rarely get half of the quality as we do at Peter Rubi. I highly recommend going here for all of your produce needs, you won't be disappointed!

Love this place!!! Can come out with bags of food for 20.00!! The specials are AWESOME!!! 6lbs of strawberries for 3.00-4.00. Today a basket of bananas for 1.00. Basket of green peppers 2.00 (6 LG peppers per basket) green onions 0.50 a bunch(organic), cilantro very reasonable too!!!

I absolutely love Peter Rubi's. They are my go to for.fresh produce. Today I bought a basket (not a bunch) of bananas for $1.00. I leave with bags of produce and have only spent 20 dollars or so and the produce is some of the best I've ever seen. They also sell local honeys, dried fruits and some refrigerated items. Staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

I was told by one of the workers that coming here was addictive. It is. You never know what you will find on sale for ridiculously low prices. They also have lovely organic produce as well as gourmet mixes, such as soups.(I picked up Ginger Carrot Soup mix and Garbanzo sausage soup mix.) I also found ripe bananas for cheap! I'm going to put into my freezer until I'm ready to make banana bread. The place is very small and parking is iffy, but there is a large lot next door. The workers are great and quite helpful. I just got home and I'm jonesing for another trip.

Nice little green grocer right next to a nice butcher shop. Some locally sourced items, some less than usual produce, plenty of the usual fruits and vegetables. They have $1 baskets of over ripe bananas and other fruit, great for quick breads and pies. I live a bit far from there, so I'll save my visits for when I'm coming home from the city, but I will definitely be back the next time I go to the butcher.

This such a Great little Fresh market for fruits and veggies !!! They run Specials all the time... I just bought a CASE OF ASPARAGUS FOR $3.00 THERE !!!! So, you ask who needs a case of Asparagus ? I flash froze half of the case for my freezer. And we made asparagus soup...and I gave bundles to my neighbors !!! They are always running produce specials such as this... I Love this little store for my produce !!!

This place is fantastic. When I walked in for the first time in December I thought I had been transported to mid-summer at the best farm stand ever. Huge variety of produce and it all looks like it was just brought in from the field. Prices are as good or better that large chain stores. There is magic here. The staff is happy! Absolutely love this place. Their selection is huge of fresh fruits and vegetables. Nothing rotten on the shelves like the typical supermarket. Everything is a good quality the employees here are also amazing. Willing to walk you through the different types of vegetables organic and regular to determine what it is that you want. They also are active in the community and do some pretty awesome events in correlation with other local businesses.

This is an amazing produce store with prices that compete with the other supermarkets in the area and their quality trumps them all. Their selections are always great and they often have amazing 3 day deals where you walk away with so much produce you're shocked. They have selections for everybody and the staff there are oh so friendly and helpful. You can also find spices, soup mixes, and local honey here as well. It's always an amazing shopping experience when coming to Peter Rubi. I just started coming here recently even though I've lived in the area for over 20 years now. Amazing!

This is a great mom and pop style shop that sells fruits and vegetables. The prices are very reasonable. The selection is very good. It is a great place to shop. However, there is a Tony's grocery store down the street with a better selection and better prices. Maybe the quality is different, but I don't think so. Try it for yourself and see.

Usually, I would agree with all of the positive reviews. We have enjoyed the banana boxes, zoodles and much more. But this past week we went there and purchased 2 containers of strawberries, grapes, blueberries and bananas. I'm sorry to say the strawberries mostly went into the garbage due to mold and softness after only one day after purchase. Most of them were over ripe, we did search for some good ones, we thought we found them, but were wrong. Grapes also went in the garbage today. Moldy and ruined. We usually love their produce , but are taking a break. Very inconvenient to purchase fruit for lunch and end up throwing it away.

I love this store and frequent it. They have great deals on vegetable and fruit baskets for one or two dollars. Sometimes you have to watch their sale produce because it's about to out date but you can buy it and freeze it and it's great to have on hand! They make delicious guacamole and salsa too! They have tons of uncommon fruits and vegetables and their staff is very friendly. If I have had issues in the past, they resolve the problem without a second thought which is great customer service. They're a Christian store which I also appreciate and sponsor numerous events in the community.

this is a small strip mall location. they have great locally sourced produce available. The sales vary but are usually really good!! they sometimes have case pricing which is great if you do canning or freeze. their in house made guacamole, salsa and veggie noodles are fantastic. the staff is friendly and very helpful and very quick.

Peter Rubi is great! All local produce with sales and deals no where else even compares to! The only bad thing I can say in that you have to eat most of what you buy within a day or two because all of their stuff seems to be close to expiration. You can buy pre chopped vegetables and even pre cut vegetable noodles. Staff is always friendly.
