REVIEWS OF Morse Fresh Market IN Illinois

Luke Murphy

Great for produce on sale and Valentina sauce :) locally owned. Support it!

Meghan Modrovsky

I want to support independently owned businesses, but Morse "fresh" Market in my experience has been awful. I've been going there for odds and ends for about 5 months now, and I have had so much of my money wasted by purchasing produce that was rotten or would rot literally the day after I bought it. I have purchased 3 gallons of milk months apart that were before the sell by date, but were spoiled when I opened them. Today, I bought two containers of strawberries from them. I took them home, opened them up to wash them, and on the bottom layer facing up was a strawberry someone had taken a bite out of. That can happen at any grocery store, but the frequency with which things have been spoiled, rotten, or previously eaten/opened is ridiculous and tells me they don't really care. I don't recommend shopping here.

Ethan Sanders

Great neighborhood market. Tons of produce, big meat counter. Employees are nice and registers are usually fully manned. Unless you shop here frequently, it can be kinda hard to find that one thing you're looking for. But I'm rarely finding myself having to go to another grocery store because they don't have something.

Alan Bottomley

Excellent grocery store. They have a large produce and deli section that is always fresh. The building is small so everything is easy to find, but it doesn't feel cramped because they don't raise the shelves to the ceiling like some places. They also carry some uncommon vegetables and meats which can make for some it interesting dishes. Overall, great place to shop.

Destin McIntosh

I love the heck out of this grocery store. There produce and meat are almost always incredibly fresh and are so cheap. If you need a lot of dry goods home goods it may not be the best, but they will have almost any fresh food item you could need.

Trisha Bronowicki

Their prices are extremely high too overrated for me too shop for my family

DaliusD

Somewhat limited choice options in comparison to Jewel Osco or other grocery stores. It is a smaller store, though. Prices are also higher than in other grocery stories in the area.

Elizabeth Coffin

Such a wonderful place that has almost everything you need for great prices. The deli, produce, and whole foods are particularly a good deal with many options. Fewer options and deals in brand name dry foods (like cereal) and prepared dinners, but still enough if you don't want to leave the neighborhood. Always friendly faces and freshly stocked shelves. They pack a lot into their space, but go with some patience if you're going during "after work" hours (like 5-7:30)

SunEagle Cherokee

Nice produce department and meets with the prices are too high for a neighborhood joint. I think Rogers Park fruit market is much cheaper.

John Warner

Great neighborhood store. Friendly and helpful people. Good variety of products.

Paul Watkins

Racist store.

Greg Barrett

Nice neighborhood market. Price points are a little high, they buy in lower volume, so... Ownership is great, they've always tried to improve the experience.

Anu Yedavalli

Best neighborhood Grocery store in Rogers Park!

Renuka Sharma

In a quick pinch, lokal organic fresh foods

Luis Aparicio

Over price place. I get a lot of the product I used to get there in aldi for half the price.

Angelica Cleveland

Decent variety of american and ethnic foods, some local products, some organic options. Good mix of high and low quality products. Deli even has Boar's head. Produce often is cheaper than what you could get at Jewel. However, not everything is fresh, particularly produce and fruit. Avoid fruit that is on sale as it is usually visibly spoiled. I go here frequently and kinda love this place, but I have continued to be disappointed and disgusted by spoilidge. I inspect everything closely before buying it and use/freeze most produce and meat within 3 days. Brand name junk food and condiments are a bit pricier than target, but that's to be expected as this is a neighborhood store not a national chain. Prepared hot and cold foods are hit or miss. Lines are not typically long.

Asa Sweet

Very fond of this small grocery. Despite its size, it has probably 90% of the food items I need on a regular basis. How good the price is varies wildly; the meat section has amazing deals, for instance, while the dry pantry goods like pasta, rice, and beans are at a modest but noticeable markup. Still a much needed store in what could easily have been a food desert.

matt arenstein

I guess not realizing that you visited the place 200 * automatically signifies a 5-star review

William Igoe

Great store: fresh produce, butcher, deli and baked goods. My go-to grocery store. Very friendly place. If they are not stocking a favorite brand just ask. I spend less time there and less money, and get better food for my family, than going to a big chain store.

Al Tauber

Sure, the groceries ate all well and good, but it's the MUSIC that really makes this place hum.

Nathan Moore

Cheap produce, if a bit brused and on the verge of expiring. But usually some good buys to be found.

Jeen Lorthe

Honestly, I really wanted to give this place a shot as it is in a great covenient location for me. The first time I went, other than the moldy berries I was pretty satisfied with the food there. However the second time around not so much. First off, I purchased a bag of cooked rice, that I did not noticed but it was cut open and therefore disgustingly moldy! PLEASE check your inventory, your stock may be damaged and unfortunately I almost ate contaminated food. My eggs were also super cracked and after that point too scared to go back and shop again. I had to unfortunately resort to Whole Foods but I will try to look for another greatly priced store with hopefully better quality of food.

Molly Jones

Morse Market is my go-to grocery store. They have an amazing selection and produce, including local options. The staff are friendly and helpful. I can find things there that I can't find elsewhere (pomegranate molasses, perfectly ripe fruit) at reasonable prices. I hope this place stays in business for as long as I live in Rogers Park.

Carissa Francisco

Nice little local spot. A little pricey, but it's right off the train and easy to get to.

James Strid

Great produce and deli. Awesome little grocery store. They have one of everything. The lines are never too long.

Carly Birchak

For a neighborhood market, this places does a good job stocking much of what is needed. The quality of the produce is better than what you'll get at Jewel Osco and cheaper than that of Whole Foods. Prices, overall, are competitive considering it isn't a chain and manufacturer coupons are accepted.

Kimberli House

This grocery store has everything. I love that they've grown with the neighborhood and have a lot of organic options. Their recent remodel (within the last few years?) has made the store look lush and allowed for more space. You cannot go wrong with this store with the meat, deli, and cheese counter, the product section, the extensive spice and seasoning section, the excellent ice cream selection, and a lot more. I can't say enough wonderful things about Morse Fresh Market.

Hani Daniel

Cheap and the manager is so respectful.

Ewa Michta

Morse market is our favorite place I'm Rogers Park! Love it!

Heather W.

There are so many things I love about this place. They have a great deli, a wonderful produce selection, and a store owner that really cares about his customers. It definitely has a very "neighborhood" feel. And while I don't shop here frequently enough for them to know me by name, I always feel like they recognize me.

Bridget Banks

Love going to the neighborhood market. Great selection of produce and meats. Great weekly sales and friendly staff.

Katherine Murphy

Gentlemen in the deli was helpful with some suggestions about different cheeses to try everything I got I enjoyed.

Zim Zeisler

I love this place. It's one of the few shops where I can get cactus juice. If you're looking for a wide selection of food, make sure to stop in here.

mike folkz

Prices are super high I only come here when I'm to lazy to drive to cermak on ridge Its clean tho I give em dat And they open early But usually everything they sell is 2 dollars higher then going to cermak or jewels For example skirt steak at cermak is usually between 3 and 4 dollars a pound This store sells for usually 6 to 8 bucks a pound And in my opinion cermak is definitely fresher!!

alexis oguike

They serve hot food thay has been out for 6 hours and put a $.99 sticker over the time stamp so you won’t know!! Got home and the food was hard and probably full of bacteria sitting under a heat lamp for 6 hours!

JC Dodge

Good store with since nice deals on produce at times. Carries a good assortment of international and gourmet foods but of what items they do not stock. Deli counter is well stocked with a wide variety of meets. Cheese selection is surprisingly great. Milk could be more competitively priced.

Margherita Coyne

Great store has all fresh stuff plus a butcher shop to get whatever cuts of meat u want

C McDonough

Love Morse Fresh because it is convenient, well priced and supports the neighborhood.

Veronica K

Food, food, food. Very, very comfortable, clean places. The employees are always welcoming me in. Anything you need and want it is there, a little high but I do find good sales. I've been going to this store for at least 6 years. Each time I go back to I do a little dance for them to show how much they mean to me. I truly enjoy the smile on their face and sometimes, I stop dancing they asked me what is your problem? I just say uhhh. It bring a smile to my face as we as theirs. Awesome, awesome places.

Megan Hayes

Always clean. Cashiers and employees all very helpful. Reasonable prices and great selection of food

Ruth Scully

Great choice, friendly & helpful staff

Matthew DeMille

I really like Morse Market. For a smaller grocery store it still has a nice variety of items from fresh fruits and veggies, frozen and dry goods, and particularly the deli. A great little store to shop at indeed.

Aleta McCarthy

Such an amazing selection and the staff is always so helpful and welcoming! The owner is especially sweet, he makes it a point to greet each and every customer with such warmth.

Emily Mitchell

Friendly owner. Fresh fruits, exotic veggies, reasonably priced deli nested end cheeses, and they have the polish eye with no seeds! I enjoy buying their dried fruits and fruit flavored gummy bears!

Wendell L Summers Jr

Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Sherry Akachukwu

Love this plan.

Steven Thomas

One of my go to shopping destinations. Only place around which have my favorite brand of relish.

Leann Ondek

Great little grocery store. I shop here every week

Julia-Kaye R

Really friendly and good quality items. Prices can be a bit high for stuff other than produce or their deli items. But their produce section is usually pretty good and they have amazing fresh, Italian bread you can get fresh out of the oven most days.

Chuck Waddell

One of the great independent neighborhood grocery stores in Chicago.

Claire Coyle

I love this place. The staff is friendly and the selection is good for produce, meat and dairy products. It's also extremely close, so very convenient.

Dudley Diehl

Really good variety of fresh produce, excellent meats, special ingredients for recipes of various ethnicities. Shelves are stocked densely but efficiently. Good hrlpful staff and quick checkout. Why go to a huge store and pay more? Highly recommended.

Chelsea Sherlock

Excellent local market with amazing produce at reasonable prices and a good variety of items in stock

Panda Demuffin

This also my favorite produce shop very nice people

Reid Hyams

This is without a doubt, my go to place!!!

Scott Boudreaux

Really good selection of meat and produce, at pretty good prices. Everything else is super expensive. It’s close to my apartment, so occasionally I’ll pay more for the convenience, but it’s literally 3x the price for some items.

Michael Desparrois

Great produce .. good organic selection and very nice people

AKPA Ludmilla

Very Nice place, and the manager is very friendly. Fresh products. My favorite groceries store

Rockin Rana

This use to be my go to grocery store when I lived in East Roger's Park, but since I moved, I don't go as often. What I like about this grocery store is the cleanliness and the variety of items this store stocks. They have prepared foods if you are on the go as well a deli counter to die for. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a parking lot. Don't forget to bring your plastic bags otherwise the City of Chicago will strongarm you for 7 cents a bag.

G Sommer

Awesome produce and great selection of items. It's a small neighborhood market but not outrageous prices. They have quick pick up items for a lunch or party.

Gaffer Venar

Excellent, small but well-stocked grocer tucked into Morse Avenue. Lovely deli. Less expensive than anticipated. I'm quite pleased with this little find.

Joey Steakley

Such a Rogers park gem! They have grown with the neighborhood and are always adding new items. Very friendly too.

Timothy Winkler

Limited choices and overpriced.

Erica Nsoedo

I love this grocery store! It's great to go somewhere where everyone knows you're name (cheers style)! They have great produce, and will even order appreciate requests! Move over whole foods!!

Sarah Odeh

Nice market... Great sales on produce, friendly and helpful staff, very organized. The fruit and veggies I bought were delicious :)

Claire B.

Fast, well-stocked, variety, great ambience!

Ryan w Lanning

Nice neighborhood store with fresh produce, a deli, and some international food items you won't find in a larger chain store.

Gene Nemirovsky

Aside from underrepresented organic selection the place is great.

Gregory Linington

Excellent neighborhood market, fresh produce, terrific deli and great rotisserie chicken.

elbeachu2

Nice little Grocery store, empolyees and location too.

Benjamin Anderson

Friendly well staffed extensive selection of products. You never have to wait more than a minute to check out here unlike other larger stores. Staff are friendly and helpful and if they don’t have a product they sometime offer to stick it in the future. They know the community well and have what you need.

Nyko J

Great local market. Good prices as well.

jarrod smith

expensive. wish there was a different grocery store nearby.

Al Ilseman

Always fresh and friendly. The produce is especially good and cheap.

Eliezer Irizarry

Been shopping here off and on for months. Today left the worst impression that any owner can do to a customer. Yes, my BF may have ran in not long before closing, was only grabbing 3 things, and was having issues trying to find the last one. The owner comes up and tells him it's closing time and he had to leave. He asked about the third item and was told he had to buy what he had or leave. This is just horrible customer service to the extreme. He just dropped everything and left. You don't treat customers like this. We come to spend money at your business and you treat us at such, so long Morse market.

Rose Johnson

This is the best market in Rogers Park!! They have EVERYTHING....ORGANIC VEGAN, fine CUTS of meat, glorious veggies and fruits just all one could want for great meals. And the staff is friendly and dependable

Josephine Delgado

The best for Northside

D Eva

Very well equipped neighborhood store

Dannielle Shaw

I buy produce and meat here. Not a huge meat eater so mostly just lean ground meat and the occasional beef roast. Love the produce selection. Good mix of organic and conventional. I don't buy brand name or most canned goods here, cheaper elsewhere. That said, I love that when I am out of something and neglected to get it somewhere else, they usually have it. Decent prices, friendly service, 5 minute walk from my house.

Adedoyin Adewunmi

Great produce

Sarah Munson

Its always been our neighborhood store.

AlisonGrossTheWitch

I have lived in the Roger's Park area for over ten years and have shopped at Morse Market regularly in that time. Over the past five years, my boyfriend has been making multiple trips there a week. But today, while he was shopping, he was aggressively confronted by the main owner/manager of the store, accused of trying to steal, and threatened to have the police called on him. I do understand that, given the neighborhood we live in, the store probably has issues with shoplifting and need to be somewhat cautious. I also understand that my boyfriend tends to look and act rather unusual so this might be perceived as suspicious. However the reason for this is because he is disabled and can't help it so to profile him as a shoplifter on this basis and treat him with immediate hostility is discrimination. An ordinary person could probably come to the logical conclusion that it would be the best idea to use the carts provided by the store, rather than trying to shop with their own bags, for a wide variety of reasons. However, the brain of someone on the Autism spectrum works differently and they may not be able to deduce this on their own, but could be more than happy to comply if it were calmly explained that this was what was expected of them. However, because the store owner/manager decided to immediately resort to aggression and threats, my boyfriend came home in tears and is terrified to go back. We will not be shopping there anymore and the store has lost years of us being regular customers. In addition we will be donating the food he purchased there to a food bank as we do not want to derive any benefit from a business that discriminates against people with disabilities. I encourage others to do the same.

Ashley Kennedy

Love Morse Fresh Market! My go-to spot for all of my groceries. Friendly staff, fair prices, always clean & tons of variety for the size of the store.

Ayo Maat

Great neighborhood store. Carry enough organics to tide me over when I do not desire to go to Whole Foods or Aldi. Carry any non-toxic cleaners and roducts that we used in 50s and 60s. Ken is an excellent and friendly manager. Okra, organic broccoli, organic nuts, pico de gallo, avocados, organic currants, organic mesclun mix, nondairy ice cresm, ginger beet, kombucha, almond milk. They even carry nondairy, non soy Daiya cheese rounds, many non-GMO prodicts.

Elly Hutchinson

This is truly the best neighborhood grocery I've ever been to. The prices are fantastic, the selection is so diverse - I'm a pretty well versed fruit and veggie fan and they had things I'd never seen before. Not to mention the variety of Mexican and Indian spices and other international snacks. I wish I lived in the neighborhood!

Ceci Garfias

Good place to buy groceries

Lyn Graham

Prices are steep but great selection, fresh produce

Karim Nashashibi

Great produce with lots of interesting food items. Very well priced also. Only major drawback, is the place is small so it can get pretty tight. Big shopping carts are no good, this place is more basket shopping.

Ricardo De Leon

This place is amazing - it supposedly used to be a Jewel. They're small but it has most of the things you need plus more. It's super convenient to where I currently live and within walking distance. Also, they have the BEST rotisserie chicken ever - definitely grab yourself one when you're there. Everyone here is always super friendly and helpful.

Sean O'Toole

Owner or manager whoever the guy is up front is RUDE every single time people walk in. Making people leave personal items up front which I have seen stolen and then tells the people its not his job to watch them, yet mandates people leave at front. Countless times when you point out he is selling expired produce or products he responds "then don't buy it". After buying expired products he refuses refund. Does not have bulk food nutrional facts on anything which is mandated by FDA. Wake up dude, people have food allergies. For 2 years now I have given them a chance and Morse Market is the single worst grocery store in Chicago. Don't bother with this place, go somewhere else.

Ernest Okeigbo

Nice place for quick neighbourhood shoping; their goods got good prices too.

Addisu Alene

I pass no week without visiting this store because it's not the only store found in my neighborhood but it is my best choice. It really has fresh stuff, welcoming servers and spacious parking.

Tyler Gish

Great selection for a small store.

Debbie Savaiano

More than the fresh produce and meat that I was expecting. They also have great packaged items like a wide variety of coffee, sandwich breads, lots of frozen items - pizzas to organics, nice chocolate bar variety, high end ice cream. It is a great alternative to Jewel and right in the neighborhood.

cliff davis

Great supermarket, small enough for quick shopping, good selection.

Deirdre Thompson

Fantastic Produce!

Shwetha Ramachandra Acharya

Very convenient grocery store, great produce for very reasonable prices! Highly recommend!!

Alpha Koncepts

I went to the fresh market to pick up a snack and a case of Gatorade. Sadly I was met by a "no guns" sign. Rather than disarm, I spent my money elsewhere. Criminals will not obey your silly little sign. All you are doing is turning away honest law abiding gun owners.

Monalisa Okhilua

The best place to stop and shop.

Timothy Morgan

Always great customer service. Best produce in the area

Tamu Andrews

Nice variety of products for such a small space. Always clean and well organized. Very friendly staff. I usually come for the produce.

M. Lawrence

I recently purchased fried fish that was inedible from Morse Fresh Market. The item cost a little over 8 dollars. I returned it and requested a refund, but the manager told me that the store has a no-refund policy. That's not fair. Thus after shopping there for several years during which time I've probably spent 150 dollars per month, I'm taking my business elsewhere.

John Cawood

Morse market has great affordable produce. Also what makes them unique in our neighborhood is that they carry organic greens and other organic fruits and vegetables. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and food is fresh.

Frank Rosko

Grew up shopping here with my mom in the 90s. Glad that it's still around and has an excellent deli with fresh fruit and other to go items around $3. Not a huge organic produce section but tons of organic stuff in the freezer & isles.

Jamie Sanchez

best market!! Prices are amazing! Great people that work there!

Brooke ODonnell

Everyone was always so nice to me here, and it was never crowded on sunday mornings

Robert Hansen

This is always one of those nice grocery stores in the neighborhood. You always find things that a good price in here. The store has friendly and helpful courteous. They have organic food and regular food. A nice Deli that you can go to. They have unique products.

Marcia Nickels

Nice neighborhood market.

Eddie Robinson

People very friendly but food too high

Mouse Savaiano

Most items are good at Morris Market. I appreciate the prices and the effort and the cleanliness of the store. But if you're going there for raspberries don't bother every time I've gone maybe 8 out of the pint are good the rest are moldy serious :-( inserted here.

stacy white

Friendly staff and weekly low price specials on produce. They have quite an extensive selection of frozen & packaged vegetarian food options but their prices are extremely high in that department.

LifeIsbeautiful Everyday

Great neighborhood grocery store. The staff are delightful, produce is fresh, store is clean. The prices are fair. The quality of products is also great. One of the best factors is that it is less than one block from the train stop. Check it out and I hope you enjoy this place like my family does.

bookwerm606

Good store, provides the supplies we need on a weekly basis.

Angela Rodriguez

Favorite grocey store ever. Great selection of specialy foods for all dietary restrictions. Quality produce.

Judith Suggs

If you are looking for a nice selection of fruits and meats. And even some cooked foods. Like rotisserie chicken this is the place to go. A neighborhood grocery store that offers a lot. But a bit pricey. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Thomas Jackson

Best and freshest fruits and vegetables. A surprising inventory of groceries ( they have kombucha and coconut milk?!! For example!) I buy all of my spices there. The people who work there are sweet. I shop there every week. Support the streetwise vendor outside! She is a good person.

Johnella Gibbs

Wonderful costs for products near home and pleasant customers service

Cat Mitchell

Friendly managers make us feel like family. Fresh produce. Reasonable prices. Deli staff who remembers our children and knows how we like our cheeses sliced. I love the feeling I get at Morse Market so much that I drive the few extra miles to shop here.

Maria J Van biljon

I visit this store regularly. Fresh smell of oranges .love shopping there

BEVERLY Coney

Good service. Owners and employees are very nice

Dorothy Desouzaguedes

Go for the produce, stay for the wide variety of ethic, vegan/vegetarian, and "normal" products magically organized into this smallish store. Meat counter and deli case. Produce: wide variety, good prices. E.g., why spend three bucks on a too-big package when you can spend 48 cents on the right amount of fresh mint. Friendly, efficient staff.

Jannisse Aguilar

Very very very very very tasty fresh and friendly ....the salads arted the best take for your liver.

Danika Silva

Very friendly and helpful staff and great service for the neighborhood, awesome prices and selections for your family and friends. Weekends they have roasted pork and you are able to get your choice from the best pieces, packed in a double container and you'll be ready to head to work with a great meal..

Miriam Scott

Morse Fresh Market is just plain AWESOME! From produce to meat to deli to grocery. GREAT customer service, great selection of products. Top of the line, I shop there regularly, at least 3+ times a week! LOVE

Risha Tenae Hill

I love this friendly neighborhood market!

Alex Diaz

Great prices and next to the red line

Maryanne Burgess

Can always find bitter melon fresh for smoothies. Fresh ginger, fresh mint at a fraction of the cost of Whole Paychex.

Amelia

Cheap groceries, good coverage of all grocery categories. Love the discount produce!

pierre jeanpaul

Growing up in the city of Chicago one of the best places to buy your groceries on the north side of Rogers Park on Morse Avenue they have came along way and they have gotten better everything that they serve is fresh

Lynette Graham

Great selection, friendly staff

Sew Hill

A neigberhood and friendly store with moderate prices neatlly kept chose your produce the old school way

chan lala

The old man is kind to the costumers their produce last I checked is always fresh. And on Mondays they get new stuff more fresh stuff. So if u want fresh from there go on Monday.

Adamarys Rios

I love this little market because I find everything I don't find in big supermarkets like Jewel or Whole Foods. It is unbelievable how much variety and international products it has! I went to Michigan and couldn't find in three different supermarkets the Michigan maple syrup I like; and guess what! I found not one, but three different kinds of Michigan Maple syrup in Morse Fresh Market!!! The owner is so sweet and greet you every time. My grandson loves him because he gives him candy every time I go with him. By the way I'm not from the area..I come from Lake Shore Drive!

Kyle Nelson

There are times I wish this market had a few more choices. Then again, considering that the store isn't that big, they do an amazing job of stocking it as full as possible.

Shauna Dial

A little expensive in price but the quality of food meets the price so it is very decent and nice store

Carla Carla

The best! It's clean, bright and friendly! Because it's so close to the Red line...ie crazy convenient for me and actually has parking for the rest of you...I stop in several times a week. The produce is fresh and constantly restocked...nothing lasts long here!

Robbie R

Cute grocery shop with a surprisingly diverse selection. Excellent variety of fruits and vegetables but be prepared to use them quickly. Packaged food is more pricey but the deals on fresh foods more than makes up for it.

Sharon Lee

Clean and lively at reasonable prices.

Brian Wade

Love this Market ! Fresh vegetables, great butchers, and deli. Fresh baked breads and foods ready to eat. Courteous employees, great service.

James Long

Wonderful place to go if you live in Rogers Park and are looking for pretty much any small cooking requirement. Pretty good selection of meat which always looks and tastes fresh

Dan Fredrichs

Really great price on a lot of produce and carries a range of budget to luxury grocery goods. Prices are competitive on a lot of things to Jewel, cheaper than Whole Foods but you get to support a neighborhood grocery store in the process. I was definitely pleasantly surprised when I walked in the first time I'll be back frequently.

Ruy Filho

Goods products but the employees, they not friendly, specially the girls from cheese/ham section. They never smile

Shirley Hurley

Good food, store is very clean, lots of produce, friendly people, fish, chicken, pork, cooked food. Dairy, juice, pop, frozen foods too, spices and more.

attackingmuffins

This store is alright with good prices on some things and variety. However, be extremely aware of what you're purchasing and inspect everything for integrity. The amount of times I have had to replace expired/spoiled foods is kind of staggering. Employees didn't recognize puffed up cans on the shelf and didn't understand why I pointed it out as a problem. Seals broken on foods, meats spoiled and some out of date on shelf, molded produce (specifically fruits). Just be aware of what you're purchasing.

Deborah Williams

Ok for quick shopping a little pricey for a neighborhood store

Caitlin Miller

This grocery store is so charming. For its size and location, it is incredible. The produce isn't perfect, but much of it is very good and has rivaled Whole Foods produce in my opinion. The prices are good, the service is always friendly. And most important of all, it's not a huge chain, just a lovely place in Rogers Park that exemplifies the neighborhood. :)

Richard Mertz

Great little market. Reasonably priced. Locally owned. Parking next to it

Michael

Very friendly personnel and good fresh quality of vegetables and fruits. Not expensive at all.

Courtney Bilbrey

They forever have our loyalty. Fresh produce and meat. Great fresh bakery items (try the seeded breads!) and prepared foods. Super friendly owner and staff members. Always new items--world foods, organic foods, new treats. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and more, all lost our business because of Morse! WE LOVE THEM!

Christopher Turner

A cut above most neighborhood grocery stores. Nice selection, cheerful employees.

Bakhtiiar Igamberdiev

It has sales quite often. Fresh meet, fruits and vegetables is strong side of this store.

Paul Peatry

Very clean, excellent produce extremely crisp. Prices are good. Love this store, I will not shop anywhere else

Margarita Miranda

Great store and friendly cashier.

John Perez

Been here once or twice. It's a nice little grocery store packed with essentials and treats.
