We usually go to Garden Fresh in Naperville. But we where in the area and decide to stop by. The Naperville location doesn't even get close, this is like a completely different store, 100 times better then Naperville location, whoever runs this location, A+ to you.

If you are looking for the unusual in a grocery item or ethnic flavors, Garden Fresh has it. The produce is cheap but don't stock up because it spoils quickly. The fish department was a pleasant surprise. Fresh fish at a reasonable price. I would recommend this specialty grocery store.

Smells a little weird in here (fishy with a bit of rotten fruit), but you can't get cheaper fruits and veg anywhere around here. Good selection of Easter European groceries (with a full fish bar!) and a larger Kosher section for those inclined.

I buy a lot of my produce here. The prices are often better than the mainstream grocery stores like Jewel, but you do have to be a little choosier as the produce is not as fresh. The eastern European and Asian international food selection is really good as well.

Baggers and Cashiers constantly talking between each other over several lanes. Multiple times have the bagged heavy items on top of produce. Last time they packed a watermelon on top of raw chicken and it broke open the bag. There should be a bigger emphasis on correct bagging.

Was at the store yesterday. It was the end of the day but i sure hope that was not the reson for the cashier to charge me almost 10$ more. I got to the register having bartlett pears .99c, instead this lady charged me almost 7$ for some mochigan peaches. Considering the fact there is a code on the produce they enter to get the item's description. Good i've noticed that.After getting in my car i had some sort of a feeling to checked on my receipt.And OMG,i found another item that I DID NOT HAVE. Some black currian or whatever it calls,3.99 $ out of my card for an extra item i did not have. Everything is being said,she charged me almost 10$ more.DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIESED .

While I tend to do most shopping at Trader Joe's I usually go to this Garden Fresh for their excellent produce, and how friendly it feels. you never have to wait in line for more than a minute, verity and quality compatible with whole foods/Mariano's sometime better, but price 1/4 of whole foods or Mariano's A lovely store inside and out.

Great selection of ethnic foods from Eastern European to Greek and Latin foods. Bakery had some great items. If I bought more specialty items I'd probably shop there more. They seem to have some great sales that bring people in. The quality just isn't the same as the Dominick's that was the previous occupant of the building. Produce was lackluster even in the summer. Not a lot of organic choices.

Yesterday I bought sausages in the Buffalo Grove Garden fresh. They were not fresh. Today I returned them and returned the money. Here they are on the shelf in the store. The date of production is September 2017. When the expiration date is not clear. For comparison, I went to the KD Market, there are the same sausages. Here at least it is clear that their life is 1 month and 2 weeks from which it follows that sausages in Garden Fresh are overdue.

This location has a different vibe than the Mundelein location. The have a larger Kosher section and no spice bar, but I think their bakery section is a little better. It's always interesting shopping here - so many intriguing products and packaging. Many of their sale prices are quite good, but some items are out of line compared to Valli and Eurofresh. Especially the Turkish coffee, which is on sale everywhere else for $5.99! The produce is kind of hit or miss as far as quality - some good deals. We picked up a cinnamon roll for just 50 cents - not great, but what a bargain!

The selection here is just phenomenal. Truthfully I was floored by the breadth and variety of goods in the world food aisles. The produce was decent too, definitely at or above the quality of other places I've been. Frankly though, if you're looking to stock the pantry here you will be paying more for it. It's forgivable for things that you can't really find elsewhere, but for the cost conscious among us there are other, better, options. I will be back, hopefully many times more

I really like Garden Fresh. I was getting up to Wheeling and Buffalo Grove frequently for a while and stopped there all of the time. The selection and variety of foods is amazing. Every ethnic group seems to be represented. Their vegetables are always fresh. Their bakery is outstanding.I can't comment on their meats or fish since I have never gotten any from there, but it all looks good. In fact, when you first walk in there is a European fish counter with several varieties of Caviar. (Some are really expensive - and there is a signed saying they don't accept returns...) I can't say enough about their bakery. Their fresh baked Challah, in my opinion, is better than those of other Chicago bakeries. They bake it fresh every day. If you are lucky enough, you might get there while they don't only have plain Challah. They also serve raisin, Sesame and Poppy seed versions.

Garden Fresh Market used to be my favorite because they would carry North Shore kosher bakery of which I really enjoyed their healthy Mike and wheat rolls. They don't carry that anymore, so I have no real reason to go there any longer, but they do have ripe bananas for banana bread. It's not a bad place they just don't have everything that I want. It's a great International Food Place that competes with Fresh Farms.

This is my place to go to. Today was bad. The lady that was up front by the cashiers was rude. I guess she's probably in charge up front. You expect that she would know how to bag. She put my bread on the bottom with everything else on top. When I was searching for it she asked me what I was looking for and I told her the bread. I found it all smashed up. I told her and she said with an attitude well go get another. Instead of her getting it she told me to get it so I decided to leave it like that. Although it was bad and I needed the bread. After the incident she was throwing all my stuff in the cart. Like she got mad but I'm the one that should've been mad. I hope the owner reads this. So he can see what type of people he has.

Full service grocery store. You can always find fresh, local produce, but also a selection of exotic options that a typical national chain is unlikely to carry. There are sections with ethnic groceries, a bakery, deli counter, fresh meats and seafood. Prices are usually quite fair. One downside is that organic selection of not great yet. Service can be hit or miss.
