Polks has a strong local history, and owners dedicated to the community. They are a farm stand representing a number of local farms, an enthusiastic garden center with some unusual plants, and I really love their smoked pork butt and ribs (available about once a month).

Truly the best fruit, herbs and plants that I've ever purchased. The strawberries were AMAZING!!! They taste how a REAL strawberry should taste. Not like the ones at Publix, Kroger, Walmart etc. The herbs I planted had the best aroma in my garden and lasted a long time. I highly recommend this farmers market in this area!

The nursery was quite impressive for such a small shop and the prices were very reasonable.The staff was very friendly and knowledgable and I'll definitely be back.

Polk's has the best produce and if you're a watermelon fan like my daughter and I, you will never buy watermelon anywhere but Polk's after you've tasted theirs. We get all of our plants from here. The Aloe and sweet almond bushes have been our favorite. Large variety of fruits and veggies always fresh. We love the smoked Boston Butt as well!
