I enjoyed my visit to GA, but I loved going to the peach farm. Seeing all the acres of trees growing peaches and pecans, then going into the market and smelling the freshly baked peach cobbler and pecan pie. I'm glad they sold slices that kept me from consuming to much sugar, it was very delicious and the fat girl inside of me loved it. Being surrounded by so much nature and out of my city elements made me feel at home, I look forward to visiting again soon.

I visit this place EVERY summer when I'm home. They have the BEST peach cobbler that I know somebody's grandmother is cooking in the back. It's a great place to eat, relax, & enjoy the scenery with your family

This was an absolute gem of a stop. Here, it is all about the fruit, you won't find a lot of other shopping to be found, so don't stop if you are looking for anything else. But my, oh, my - the peaches, pecans, and such a gorgeous selection of jams and jellies to be found. I was there in late June and didn't see any strawberries, more's the pity, but I was fine with the peaches, trust me. They have a cafe, and while I would have loved to try the food - I had my heart set on homemade peach cobbler with peach ice cream, and it was SO worth it! The line was LONG (as you can see in the picture below by all the people standing in line behind me) but don't let that deter you if you are there at a busy time - it moves fast, and the quality is so fresh, you won't be disappointed. This was a highlight of my trip for sure.

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch on our way back home to Florida. The food at the cafe is really good, the bathrooms are clean and there are a lot of fun touristy gifts. The employees were very friendly. I highly recommend a trip to Lane Southern Orchard. They also offer pick your own strawberries and peaches. Good family fun!

It's very touristy and the prices aren't the cheapest, they aren't outrageously expensive either though. They ice cream, cobblers, and pastries are out of this world!! Luckily they have plenty of rocking chairs outside so you can chill out a while after partaking in all of the goodies! We love this place and go by there every time we are near there.

This place is awesome! It's 5 miles off I-75, but it's worth the trip!!! The dive out is through pecan orchards, and farms, and it's beautiful. Once you get there, they have the freshest produce that you can buy. They have lunch and ice cream and fried pies of all kinds! We don't pass this exit without stopping.

One rotten peach in the bag of ready to eat peaches. Cashier found it and had them replaced. The other peaches that day were as hard as an apple. Ripened into excellent tasting over several days.

A cute, fun pit stop. The peaches are very inexpensive, but most everything else is a bit pricey (baked goods, jarred vegetables, preserves, cider, etc.). They even sell wines and there’s a cute little cafe.

The store is incredible. The cafe was very disappointed. I got a chicken salad sandwich in croissant.... there was hardly any chicken salad on it. When I asked if they could add more, they told me $2 more. French fries were cold. I won't eat there again. But the market part was great.

Great local stop of the Interstate 75. Well worth the visit if you have time. The peach ice cream is the best. They have a variety of other packaged and ready to eat items. Small restaurant as well. It’s not exactly off the exit and it’s solid 5 to 7 minute drive off of the exit. No gas stations are in proximity. You will have to seek a separate exit. Again, well worth the visit if you have time or need a break.

We got lunch here today. Lane's is always fun, the kids got to play on the playground, folks with their dogs were out so we got to pet some puppies. And the peach cobbler (with peach ice cream) was amazing as always. Took home some fresh peaches, too. Definitely worth a stop, many today were there from out of state. Glad they got to experience Lane's.

Such a great place! I have since moved from Georgia but honestly consider Lane Orchards one of the places we miss the most. Their chocolate covered pecans and peach bread are to die for. I love the outdoor space for kids and seating arrangements on the front of the store. This is just a wonderful place & the service is top notch!

Love the variety of gifts and peach jams, jellies, preserves, and salsas. Went to take home whole frozen peach cobbler, and pecan pie. Picked up some huge sweet potatoes to make pies with later. They have a great salad bar and ice cream. Clean and the staff is friendly and the bonus; they allowl pets in the shopping area. That was awesome for us, we took our two shih tzus which made us buy more.

The restaurant was closed but no indication of this on their site or Facebook. We went to pick strawberries. They were already picked clean pretty much, but no one told us that before we went out there in the heat. Had to babies with us and we're not allowed to use the strollers while picking. We just left without going any strawberries.

I will be back! Peaches, pecans, Jellies, Jams, Salsa, butter, ciders, nuts, breads, muffins, ice cream, wines, ....should I continue? I throughly enjoyed myself. Take money because even though they are not expensive YOU WILL NOT be able to pick and choose what you want more between the individual items. Even our dogs walked out with new bandannas. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead 5 is because some of the items seemed more commercial (jewelry, straw hats, standard Myrtle beach rack with “find your name bracelets). Those items were less focused on individuality of Southern Orchards and more standard tourist trap. Other than that, perfect place for a foodie. We walked out with 4 bottles of local wine, a artisan lager, 6 pack of micro brew, around 6 jams, jellies, pumpkin butter. 2 dog bandannas, a nut cracker, and @ 5 lbs of pecans. Thank God for Visa!

If you love everything peach and pecan, this is your place to go. With neat jams and preserves (I got pumpkin butter, peach salsa, and peach pecan preserves) and a great cafe that features home style food like meatloaf and pecan crusted catfish, this place is amazing. There is also a peach tour they advertise, but die to time constraints I could not go but definitely will have to come back for it!

I always enjoy going to Lane Southern Orchards. It makes me proud to be a southerner when I see restaurants or cafes that serve up some delicious southern foods. And Lane Southern Orchards not only serves the food, but it grows some of the best foods. I just love their peach ice cream and also their praline pecans! They ship their fruits all over. Peaches and strawberries in season and pecans and their homemade candies anytime. But, I am thankful to live close by so I can just drive over from Perry and buy whatever I need. And I can pick my own strawberries which is always fun. Every time I have been I have always enjoyed going..and it seems like everyone there is also having a great time. But I must say the prices have been going up each time I have gone. Now, I know it costs a lot to grow the food, to pick the fruits and nuts and then to make the food, the jellies, the jams, and candies but some of the prices are just a little too expensive. I know it takes a lot but I wish the prices were a little more affordable so everyone could enjoy their foods, fruits and candies.

Nice place to stop, stroll around and grab some food or awesome ice cream. Some stuff is pricey but not out of tourist trap price range. They have nice seasonal displays, especially in the fall. Playground could use a little attention.

This place has that old fashion vibe and great taste, the best pecans, peaches, and old muscadine wine. I was just enjoying my Peanut Brittle (buttery) when this review popped up you will not be sorry you visited. Don't forget to grab a loaf of the cinnamon pecan bread it makes the best French Toast you will smell it as soon as you step in the door. (They also have it in Peach)

We always go off highway for lunch here. Warm peach cobbler with ice cream is not to be missed. They give orchard tours, have a playground and pet walk area. Fresh produce is a good buy.

Tourist trap. employees very nice and place was crowded but were told they don't give farm or packing house tours anymore. Bought Peach ice cream but it is actually soft serve and doesn't actually contain any of their peaches. The canned peaches on salad bar aren't theirs and peach tea is also a store-bought concentrate. Loose peaches were $2/lb (local IGA had them for $0.77). Duped.

Visit here every time I'm in Kathleen visiting friends there. Never a bad experience. Although on my last visit I bought beer from there and they all burst on the way home. Called and talked to produce manager and he is very kind and is taking care of this as my buddy didn't get to drink any of the beer I bought for him.

Nice place to take a break if traveling I 75. Not too far off the beaten path. Good lunch, good food, reasonable prices. Food and market were good. Their website is outdated. They no longer have any packing or farm tours. They only offer strawberry picking in the spring. There is no blueberry or blackberry picking in the summer.

This is a great place to visit and to share with family and friends. Wonderful bread and a fair selection of cooking ingredients from the "family" farm. The gift shop also has some fun novelty gifts. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. It's a challenge to pass on the milkshakes in the restaurant -- especially the peach or strawberry.

But it seems several things changed now we had small issues like not telling is cash only because machine was down before we wait 20 min in line but maybe it just went down. We stopped at this place on her way back to Florida from Atlanta. It is a few miles off the interstate so just be aware it is a little bit of a detour. Their selection of peach later clock products is amazing and the pecans were really good as well staff is super friendly and it was a nice clean and well-organized store.

Such a cute place! Love the store, lots to look at and a little something for everyone. We ate in the cafe and everyone loved what they got, especially the cobbler! They have the cutest displays, made out of old crates and they've decorated with old farm pics blown up which we thought was very nice. Everyone was nice and helpful. Very disappointed driving out to the orchards. Their was not a selection of peaches at all. The peaches they had were all green which was not what I was looking for and the prices were crazy high. Extremely disappointed. There more a ice cream shop and bakery then peach orchard. Got better peaches and cheaper in grocery store.

Our favorite thing about this place was the homemade peach ice cream with actual peach chunks and we were so disappointed to find out they’d switched to soft serve machines. We tried the peach soft serve and it was just ok. Definitely not worth a special trip anymore.

My family visits the Atlanta area at least once a year. Lane is always a stop on the way home back to Florida. It is right off of I-75. They have a lovely cafe. My favorite is the salad bar and peach lemonade. My husband loves the peach ice cream. The gift shop is full of yummy things to take home. The jarred peaches and peach preserves are so yummy. The bathrooms are clean. If you have little ones, they do have a playground. This is great for my kids after they have been in a car for a few hours. Lane seems to attract locals and travellers alike!

I use this place as my secret grocery store and bring canned spiced peaches and different salad dressings to work at the envy of my colleagues who are too afraid to leave the Atlanta area and venture into Central Georgia. When I lived in the area I always took out of town guest for fresh Peach Cobbler, Pecan Crusted Catfish, and bagged items to give away to family and friends.

My son brought us back dilled garlic...what a treat—forget about pickles! Wish they were included in the shipping menu (hint-hint)! The peach cider he brought also was good and strong...strong enough to dilute a bit to tame the sweetness, but oooh: concentrated squished peaches! Everything and anything you could want with, for, and made out of peaches. Nice little restaurant, though the day we went through it was very busy. Standard fast food fare, but very good, higher quality than chain restaurants. Very good service and helpful staff throughout the whole place, not just the restaurant. The catwalk "tour" of the packing plant was fascinating. I could've stood and watched that all day. Playground outside for the kids. Parking for motorcycles and smaller cars as well as RVs. Specialty sodas not easily available anymore like Nehi. Entire family enjoyed it, including the 4 year old and 7 year old. We will be going back.

All of the peach things I wanted to get were gone when we were there around 2-3, so make sure you get there early or you'll miss out. Kind of a mess inside with tons of people fighting to get there first. The line for food is long but wasn't too slow. I got a cinnamon roll that was not hot and in a container, and peach lemonade that was very good.
