I LOVE this store I save so much money! They have a great variety of vegetables, fruit, meat and spices. And alot of seafood.They are priced fantastically. Definitely go shopping here before the other stores to get the meats and veggies it's awesome. Sometimes it's crowded but I promise it's worth it...

I have a love hate relationship with this store. Overall they provide decent cuts of meat at affordable prices. Their produce blows Winn Dixie and Publix out of the water but that's about it. I've purchased Romaine from here and it had fungus growing in it. =/ Still they are the best place to get leafy greens. Thier staff isn't very friendly or helpful. The ones that are helpful are overly friendly and a bit to eager to help. That in itself is off putting. Their menu suggests that they are a specialty store catering to a Latino community. I can't vouch for the food but if you are Iooking for a meal with Latin flare this place might be an option.

That's another one. Fish department sucks...fish is farm raised and comes frozen...but they tag the fishes as fresh from ocean, when I know by the smell of it and the looks on the fishes eye's. Are we kidding? The way they store produce its a danger to public and I was hospitalized because of heavy items hit my body falling off the shelves.

Mostly hot Cuban food can be found here. Also every hard to find vegatable and fruit you could possibly imagine. Also an awesome variety of fresh prepared pastries and deserts. Also all the hard to find soft drinks like Iron Beer. Great prices and fast service. Also a buffet style hot food line where you tell the servers exactly what and how much you want. You can't loose coming here!!!!

Prices and selection are fantastic! The only drawbacks are the tight quarters and limited parking. It's generally very tough to find a parking spot here due to the high volume of customers and small parking lot. It's also difficult to navigate the inside of the store due to the volume of people that shop there. The atmosphere is very claustrophobic. It doesn't make for a pleasant shopping experience but is worth the effort for the price and quality of food. Outside there are always huge displays of beautiful fresh produce. Most meats here are good quality. Can rate a 5 if they upgrade to a location with more room for customers/more parking.

Great range of produce. Fruit is not gassed to artificially keep longer. Very good fish counter and they will clean the fish for you! Meat counter will cut your meat as thick as you want it no problem. And the hot deli is great for lunch, make there own pulled pork Great prices.

This place is awesome. Every kind of exotic veggie as well as the usual suspects. Prices are affordable. I enjoy just looking around at the food I've never seen before and have no idea what to do with, like loroco. A white veggie in a jar that looks like an octopus and is used in El Salvador. Would love to come one day and buy all this strange to me stuff, search Google and have some fun in the kitchen.

I love, love, love, the hot food from Thrifty! However, this particular visit it took forever to get assistance. One man was cleaning the floors and told me someone would be with me soon. Another man was busy cleaning his sandwich area but would not look at me. Another man was ringing someone up. Two ladies were chatting by the office door. I had five people waiting behind me. I was fine with waiting because I am working on my patience. I just felt bad for the one guy getting stuck serving all of us. Teamwork! Jump in and help and get 5 stars. Make my husbands favorite salads and get more stars.

Had previous bad experience with Thrifty in Palm Bay Rd but gave them chances... it’s nots the product fault if customer service is bad. They are good in product but they have rotten service. You try to select nice veggies and fruits but when you get at the counter they kept throwing it to the bag. And you so me think because you’re in front of them they will be careful but heck no, they act like they do not want to be there and in a hurry to bag your stuff and to the point when u get home u can’t find some of items in the receipt. I work hard to earn money, a little request to the owner... please since you have managers on the floor would you be kind to talk to your people that if they are at work focus on their work and treat your product like they want to be treated. Try to tell them to be careful on handling fruits and veggies and meat. If they think they are too good to handle them, let them go... I don’t know with other people but me, I do not like my stuff to be thrown to the bag and slide and hit corner to get to me so I can put it in my cart. I work in retail but I cannot and not in a million year will let my customer feel agitated because I do not want to work. All they want us talking to each other anyway!!!!’
