Visitors: this is a must stop! Really fun experience with lots of "Florida" stuff you can take home. Hands down the BEST Florida Orange Juice you'll find, especially in January/February when its peak season. The Orange Cream swirl ice cream is a favorite for us and it only $2.50 for a good portioned cone! Not to mention it's the best Key Lime Pie in town! So in my opinion, if you like Ice Cream, Key Lime Pie, & OJ... this is the best place to go.

The sun harvest attraction is a nice place to stop and drink Florida's most famous crop. When you enter you will notice it's one big gift shop which you could shop for orange related items. They also have a post office to send regular mail but mainly to orange gift baskets to others. For the little ones they have a playground for them to play in after a long car ride. Afterwards they can enjoy the free orange juice samples they have inside. Watch how they make orange juice and see how it's package.

A real treat to come here. The people who work here are very kind and the juice is to die for. They have a large array of Floridian themed food and decor items and delicious fruit and baked goods. Make sure to try the orange juices in from their free sample area- I highly recommend the strawberry orange juice. You can even see them make the orange juice fresh while you drink. I also recommend their pineapple sorbet- it's nice and sweet and the perfect treat to have on a hot Florida day.

We eat a lot of fresh citrus and theirs is good. However, the way the store is laid out, it's impossible to get to the fruit and pay for it without having to go through hordes of people and line up to pay for ages and ages. I've walked out several times. They have the same cashes for ordering ice cream as for paying for fruit and it's very slow. They also cancelled their loyalty card so I no longer bother. Buy my fruit at Costco.

I have been a customer since the year 2000 when I moved to Fort Myers. Always recommend this place to family, friends and coworkers. I love this place. Today thought I went to buy my regular purchase of 6 half of gallon of a variety of their juices and I had a very disappointing customer service experience with a cashier by the name of Stephanie. I have never in my life been treated with such rudeness and disrespect. I felt like asking to speak to the manager but didn't want to make a scene so I paid for my merchandise and left. I seriously this cashier is sent to some type of customer service training because she is horrible attending customers. Total disappointment not even sure if I should return to this store or not. I don't want to go through such disappointing experience ever. The juice is great the customer service needs improvement

Great free orange juice and orange samples! On a hot day (or a cold one actually), I definitely recommend the orange or key lime soft serves. They have a great flaky cream cheese danish that's almost croissant-like. It is very tourist-oriented, but it's still reasonably priced and you can't beat free OJ.

Anyone stopping by through the southwest Florida area needs to stop by this place! They have a huge gift shop in free samples of any different kinds of juices. There is a post office tucked away in the back and a viewing area for when the oranges come in for processing. It has a great Florida theme and excellent employee base! Oh and no trip here would be complete without one of their delicious ice cream cones!

This place is really nice. Not too big not too small. They have some souvenirs as well as almost everything you can think of to make with oranges. They have free samples of juice which was amazing. Ended up buying some, even though pricey the juice is worth it. Ended my visit sampling some key lime ice cream and OMG! I am not a key lime fan but this ice cream is awesome. I got a small cup of chocolate and key lime swirl. It was so good but the chocolate over powered the key lime. I will come back and visit again to grab more juice and ice cream.

Very fresh produce. Over priced. The lines are very long but move relatively quickly. I do not find the staff to be overly friendly. They are odd smells coming from the place. Just whiffs of raw something not fresh as you walk through the store. Not BO but rather trash that stinks.

Order Not Shipped When Told! I placed an order on July 19, 2018 and we told that the order would be shipped that day! On July 26, 2018, when I asked my son if he had received my gift; he said "no". I called to check on order and they said it did not go out until July 24, 2018! I would have NEVER ordered the gift if I had known it was going to take 5-6 days before it would ship. I told the lady that was not happy about the situation and she just said "I'm sorry" really? I will NEVER order from them again! Who knows if he will get it or not :( DO NOT ORDER from them if you plan on it getting there in a timely manner. Oh, she said they only ship on Tuesday and Thursdays - well it was a Thursday when I placed the order! Duh!

Great citrus. I send a box of their citrus to my relatives each Christmas. Free juice samples are available to everyone. At certain times, you can watch the production of juice. Orange flavored ice cream is a favorite of many. If you are visiting SW FL, it's a nice place to visit.

Sun Harvest has the very Best FRESH ORANGE JUICE around. I go there regularly when I stay on Sanibel its worth the Drive plusThey also have a nice selection of Oranges, Tangerines, and a variety of other Fruits along with some great pastries. They also have outstanding Soft Ice Cream... Most people prefer the Orange and Vanilla Swirl it taste like a Dreamcicle however their soft chocolate and Key Lime ice cream is also very good...They are 15 minutes from the airport so if you fly in during the day you can grab your OJ or Ice Cream on the way to your destination... Definitely worth the stop....I have been going here as long as I can remember....

This is a great place to get fresh oranges, orange juice, and orange juice mixes. There is a sample station you can try the different oranges and juice mixes before you buy. It gets EXTREMELY busy in peak season. If you show up in the afternoon, expect chaos in the parking lot, no empty parking spots, and old people that can't drive trying to turn around everywhere. Expect to wait for close to an hour to check out at peak times. Go early and avoid the crowds.

I stopped in here while going to the usps inside. It is adorable. My favorite juice i sampled was the strawberry orange juice. It tasted like a strawberry daiquiri. Very sweet. The orange juice is PHENOMENAL! Very cute gifts and tourist nonsence. Fairly priced. Soft serve icecream and bakery items. Wine. Candy. Jams. Fresh produce. A little jungle gym playground out front for kids next to a giant orange. We are definitely going back again for juice! And the post office workers were incredibly pleasant and attentive.

Everybody asks if I fresh squeezed it. Their orange juice is honestly the best. They have free samples of their juices in the store. I like the different soft serve ice creams they offer as well

Went to the store and purchased two gift boxes for Xmas gifts. Was told I would receive an email with tracking numbers when they shipped. Received nothing. Called. One box had shipped; the other had not. They were sorry. They would ship the second one free but it would not go out until after Xmas. I would receive an email with tracking information for sure this time. Received nothing. Called. The basket had shipped but would take over a week to get there. The first basket took two days. I asked how the fruit could possibly arrive it decent condition after sitting in a truck for over a week. Sun Harvest’s response: silence followed by “Well, it’s too late now. If it’s no good, we’ll ship another.” Are they kidding? How many phone calls and trips to the store do they expect someone to make simply to buy a gift basket? I have always enjoyed visiting their retail store, although the prices are exorbitant. But the place is staffed by incompetents. Stay away if you are planning to ship anything. UPDATE: After receiving the response from Sun Harvest, things went from bad to worse. They had promised to send the second gift basket out after Christmas on Dec 27th and, in fact, told me they had send it out on Dec.27th, when I called to check on it. Wrong! They created a label on the 27th but didn’t send out the fruit until January 2nd. Now the Xmas present won’t arrive until January 8th, according to Fedex. Unfortunately the recipients will now be out of town when the package arrives so the fruit will sit rotting on their porch. So thank you, Sun Harvest, for your help. A job well done! A very belated Christmas gift of rotting fruit.

Great for tourists and locals to visit. Fresh squeezed juice bar provides free samples to evaluate. Juice prices are reasonable. On-site factory allows viewing of the fruit juice process through glass partitions. The store offers excellent soft-serve ice cream, pies, baked goods and various confectionaries such as jams, desert toppings, and sauces to name a few. A retail space also offers knick knacks and unique gift ideas. A sitting area inside and outside is also available to relax as you enjoy your ice cream or bakery snack. We love this place and continue to visit on a weekly basis after finding it 5 years ago.

A must try for those who like citrus drinks. The orange juice here is fresh and fantastic...the best I've ever had. I've you've been to the Dole Plantation in Oahu, this shop is similar. Store offers a variety of orange and florida related goods and even has a window into their sorting machine. In the back is an area where you can try their most popular drinks for free, self serve style! I recommend trying them all as you might find a new favorite! My kids love to get a soft serve ice-cream after trying the drinks. This place can get crowded but there is ample parking and the line moves quickly. Tip: Discount coupons are frequently mailed to locals, can be found in newspapers and are available on their website (they are currently offering an ice cream that's bogo free).

Step into Sun Harvest for some unique Florida gifts and incredible citrus! Samples of various citrus fruits and citrus juices sold in house are available free of charge. Citrus fruits and other tropical fruits such as mangoes can be bought and even shipped on site. A number of unique and traditional flavors of ice cream are sold, and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are clean and well-kept. A small playground area is provided for young children near the outdoor seating. The Sun Harvest shop includes food items like BBQ and hot sauces, uncommon wines (blueberry, carambola, tomato, etc.), uniquely Florida jams and preserves (coconut spread, and the like), various local honeys, coffees, and cakes (including both rum and key lime), as well as Florida souvenirs, children's items, home goods, puzzles, glassware, gifts, and much, much more - many items possess a Florida/tropical feel with manatees, dolphins, fish, sea turtles, mermaids, pirates, and of course, oranges and grapefruits well represented. Whether you swing in to grab the best orange juice in the business and go, or stay and to browse and sample for an hour, Sun Harvest Citrus is not to be missed... just be ready to make the return trip when the jug is empty.

Not good. Gift shop filled with cheap trinkets, only a few bags of oranges available. Biggest negative was I couldn't just stop and pick up a few things. The line from a warehouse tour stretched at least 30 people deep and I couldn't check out. There's no way I'm standing in that just for a few things. The only produce they had was a few bags of oranges and some sad looking strawberries. There's so many other really good markets, not sure anyone would ever stop here.

My friends took me here when I visited Ft Myers. I didn't realize that it was an actual citrus farm but it was off season so the open view harvest display was not in operation. The store has lots of knick knacks, fresh fruits, pastries, soft serve ice cream and complimentary citrus juice concoctions. It is sort of a gift shop / farmers market with a built in clean cafeteria. I loved the orange vanilla twist soft serve. I definitely enjoyed the fresh citrus taste....it was delicious! The best part was the complimentary fresh juices. They had orange, grapefruit, strawberry orange, cranberry orange, and lemonade served from ice cold fountain machines. You can try as much as you want which I did and they were all refreshing! Would definitely stop by this place again when I visit Ft Myers in the future.

YOU HAVE NOT TRIED ORANGE JUICE UNTIL YOU'VE TRIED THIS ORANGE JUICE. It's like, $5 for half a gallon, but if you're looking for Orange juice, this stuff blows away what you can get at a store. The rest of the shop is orange/fruit products and other orange-related nick knacks, including ice cream, pastries, orange-honey, and plushies. I'm told they give tours and workshops among other activities. Definitely worth the visit if you like fruit!

Love this place. They have the absolute best, freshest, unpasteurized orange juice anywhere. I'm on a special diet and food oj is essential so I consider myself a connuisuer. It gets crazy busy but the line moves quick and is well worth the wait. Couple of tips, they always have a 20% coupon online, and if you buy a decent about (gallon or two) getting their stamp card quickly gets you a free half gallon.

Great store and products but HORRIBLE idea to have ONE main line. Everyone must wait for folks to get bakery and ice cream, even if you only have one item. Meanwhile, cashiers at the fruit ordering station are standing there with no customers. There needs to be an express line added or allow the other workers to ring customers out faster.

Orange and vanilla twist cone for just $2.50 is worth the wait. The chocolate key lime twist cone was also good, but not as good as the orange vanilla twist. They can also ship fresh oranges across the country. They could benefit from more outdoor seating thought.

Touristy citrus retailer. But..great place to ship citrus to northern relatives for the holidays. They even have a tasting area for fruit and juice. Of course they have the normal over priced trinkets for tourists to spend their money on.

The helpers are very nice and the oranges are very juicy and ripe. The ice cream that they have is soft serve but so good, it is not just vanilla and chocolate. They have orange and vanilla, lime and chocolate, and even in the winter they sometimes have a Christmas special ice cream.

I never bought orange juice from anywhere else again. The fruits are the best! Orange cranberry is my favorite. Pastries are delicious, but I haven't seen my favorite, pineapple muffin, in a while. I never liked keylime pie until I tried theirs. Attendants could smile a bit more. The long lines don't bother me, it just shows how good they are. Most times I'm there, there's a line for no ice cream buyers, but I never leave without one. 20% off coupon always available online, so I buy extra!
