Got a door pretty quickly then started loading us fast. They are hard workers and try to be efficient as possible. The checking in and out process could be a little better, you have to park in this dusty dirt lot and then walk across the street.

This place is an absolute nightmare ! You will be stuck for many hours they claim to close at 6pm but it never stops you will show up at 1pm and after 10pm they called to say they are out of watermelons/product maybe they can get you in the next day... Nightmare

Checked in here early in the morning as soon they opened for business , and spent the entire day in the parking lot until they gave me a loading dock ! Very bad experience and I will never come back here again!!

First come first serve, friendly staff. Despite there being a lot of people there and having to load from both docks on different sides of the road there was good work coordination and did not have to wait very long at any point. Easy pick up, definitely would not mind making that run again.

Worst place ever to pick up a load! Sat there for 46 hours waiting on melons then when they did load me I was 1500 pounds over weight they didn't bag the load so when I got back to have them take pallets off they where all tipped over. Same thing at my delivery 4 hour restack horrible place

As a regular customer, I was alarmed to see CantaGold cantaloupes suddenly wrapped in PLASTIC mesh bags. What a BAD IDEA for the environment. The plastic wrap is unnecessary and will only serve to fill up landfills or endanger wildlife. I will BOYCOTT this product until the mesh bags are discontinued.

First come first serve? I've been here 9 hours and counting, trucks come and get loaded and go... NOT FCFS. Walmarts arent even this bad. Wasting a day here for what? Cheap freight to get out of Florida? Next time I'll deadhead a bit more before coming here again.

I am here now and have been here 4 hours. I was called to my first door, loaded, and sent away to park for another door! This is absolutely absurd. Everyone, except the receptionist, has been so rude. This is my First time here and they treat you like you should know their routine. This is very much so be my LAST time coming here to pick up a load. Never have I been so humiliated.

DO NOT PICK UP A LOAD FROM HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU BROKERING LOAD WITH “ PIERCE WORLD WIDE LOGISTICS” AND DEALING WITH DERRICK. GUY IS A LIER AND HE WOULD SCAM YOU EATHER WAY. THIS IS MY 3RD TIME PICKING HERE AND LAST ONE FOR SURE . BOTH PREVIOUS TIMES I WAITED WHOLE DAY TO GET LOADED AND SECOND TIME AFTER WAITING WHOLE DAY AND BEING LIED THAT PRODUCT IS READY PRODUCT WAS NOT EVEN THERE AND THEY WERE WAITING FOR SHIP STILL SO I DECIDED TO START HEADING EMPTY TO TAMPA,FL TO TAKE ANOTHER LOAD. YESTERDAY WE BOOK THE LOAD WITH SAME COMPANY HOPING THAT LAST TWO TIMES WAS MAYBE BAD LUCK AND GAVE A CHANCE AGAIN. THIS TIME LOAD WAS READY BUT HERE IS WHAT HAPPEND. I PICKED THE LOAD , MY RATE CON STATED 41000 LBS ON THE WEIGHT SAME AS BOL. LOAD WAS GOING TO ST LOUIS ,MO FOR 1500.00$ . MY FIRST AVAILABLE SCALE WAS LOWES WHICH WAS 98 MILES FROM SHIPPER ON MY WAY TO DELIVERY. I SCALLED AND WEIGHT WAS 81720 FOR 16 PALLETS OF CANTALOUPE. MY FUEL TANKS WERE EMPTY. WITH FULL TANKS THIS LOAD WOULD HAVE BEEN AROUND 83720 MORE OR LESS. AFTER CALLING BROKER AND LETTING HIM KNOW ABOUT OVERWEIGHT HE WAS THE NASTIEST PERSON I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN 11 YEARS . HE WANTED ME TO CONTINUE DELIVERING LOAD CAUSE I ONLY TOOK 16 PALLETS AND NOT 18 WHAT MY RATE CON SAYS THAT I CAN DELIVERED AND RESCHEDULE FOR THURSDAY OR FRIDAY IF I CAN NOT MAKE IT .REALLY 1500.00$ FOR 5 DAYS. I ASKED WHO IS PAYING FOR MY FINES FOR BEING OVERLOADED HE SAID NOT HIM BUT IS ONLY 5 CENT FOR EACH POUND OVERWEIGHT THAT THEY CHARGE. HMMM HOW DOES HE KNOW THAT JUST WONDERING.I ASKED ARE YOU PAYING ANYTHING EXTRA CAUSE NOW I DROVE 98 MILES FROM SHIPPER AND SAME MILES TO GO BACK PLUS TOLLS AND DELIVERY HAD TO BE MOVED FOR EXTRA DAY OR TWO HE WAS LAUGHING AT ME SAID NO AND I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 22 YEARS. BECAUSE OF THAT I DECIDED TO GO BACK AND CANCELL COMPLETE LOAD . THERE IS ALOT MORE THAT I CAN WRITE BUT RUNNING OUT TIME . BE CAREFULL LOOK AT THE RATE CON. IF I WAS TAKING 16 PALLETS AND SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 18 AND EVEN 16 WAS OVERWEIGHT AFTER DELIVERY HE WOULD HAVE DEDUCTED MONEY FROM MY RATE CON FOR NOT TAKING 18 PALLETS . RATE CON STATES DRIVER RESPONSIBLE FOR LOAD COUNT. STUFF AT SHIPPING IS SOMEHOW NICE CANT COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT BUT DID THAT HELP ANYTHING THE ANSWER IS NO. ACCORDING TO SHIPPER THEY HAVE 20% OF DRIVERS COMMING BACK FOR OVERWEIGHT. ONCE AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THIS BROKER !!!!! This is the worst place I ever been , be prepared when you get a load from here to stay at least 12 hours , is not first come first serve , depends on the customer you take the load to ( preferences ) because I spoke with employees and they say everybody getting the same kind of produce :(

They are a very slow facility, if i would have been picking up pineapples, i would've gotten out of there quicker, but i was picking up melons and checked into facility at 7:45 a.m. and they are a first come first serve facility which they don't honor, because i didn't get loaded until 5:30 p.m. that same day. Very slow facility.

I don't see how this place gets more than 1 star! If it was possible I'd give a -4, and that would be -5 if the catering truck wouldn't have had good food. They just don't care...and it seems to be internal problems that are just pushed down to the people we have to work with...Worst produce house in Pompano, and maybe south FL, I've dealt with!
