I am visiting on vacation and I had to find a few things for dinner. the staff here was top notch. extremely helpful with all the questions I had and very friendly. they may not have had everything I needed but had many suggestions to get the job done. kudos to this staff and their hospitality, well done!

Clean and friendly employees, check out lanes were quick and had everything I need. Maybe when I was there, but half of the customers in the place were in ecw, wheelchairs, causing some jams getting around. Outside of that, everything good

Usually everything is fine here but today, a few minutes ago, an elderly man who was bagging our groceries decided to start walking out to the parking lot with our toddler son in the cart without asking if we wanted his assistance. He was walking rather swiftly ahead of us not even knowing where our car was. He has no idea how close he came to being badly injured and if there is a next time, my husband and I will not hesitate. ALWAYS ASK if the person wants assistance and NEVER EVER especially if you value your life, start walking away with a cart with someone's child in it.

I'm new to Orlando and to Publix. I'm used to cheaper prices but it looks like all of Florida has higher food prices. I do appreciate Publix's BOGO free deals though. I think their soup bar, deli and lunch meat counter are pretty awesome! Everyone is extra friendly and helpful, too. Overall, it's a nice place to shop and get a quick sandwich or soup/salad.

Having just moved to the area, I was told Publix was the place to go for groceries. Their name brand National food and non-food items were quite over priced, and many National brand selections were not even available. So, I decided to give their meat department a try. Plenty of selection, but you're not going to convince me that the seafood was fresh. But, seeing as how my family was hungry for something other then take-out and fast food, we selected a few items for dinner and headed towards the cashier. She did not look up at us, did not greet us, did not thank us, and did not invite us back. The young man bagging our groceries did not offer us help out, did not thank us, and did not invite us back. So, I have to assume that since we weren't thanked or invited to shop there again, they won't be too disappointed when we don't. Oh, and don't bother trying to offer the store or their corporate office feedback. They simply send you the same standard response they e-mail to everyone who expresses a concern. If you are looking for a great place to purchase your fresh meats and seafood, I have found that Whole Foods market offers a great selection, it's fresh, competitively priced, and they are very attentive to your needs.

This Publix is a bit dated, and smaller, than the Publix on Universal Blvd just north of 528. Granted this is a smaller store... and it is in the middle of many residential subdivisions... but when shopping here, be prepared for it to be busy. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing; but if you're in a rush, and you're either a resident of Orlando or a tourist with a car, go to the Publix that is just up the street. Publix in general really is a great grocery store chain; much better than others I grew up with in other parts of the country. One big thing I love is the friendliness of the employees... all of them, at every store! It sure does make for a much more pleasant shopping experience.

This will be the third time that I place an order online for the deli and when I arrive to pick up my food that has been prepaid my food isn't ready. I then have to stand in line and ask them to prepare my order.. this defeats the purpose of going online and paying so I wont have to wait in line!

I just LOVE this place. Everyone is so FRIENDLY and always so HELPFUL. The store is always so clean. My favorite department of the store is the Bakery. Gosh, fresh bread everyday, who doesn't love that. Go there and see if you feel the same way I feel. I guarantee, you will!

Nice location and great prices! It's very convenient if you're going to visit Sea World, Discovery Cove, or Gatorland and want to pack a lunch as it's in very close proximity to those attractions. The store is also always well kept.

Had The worst experience with This On educated person her name was “Kim” She is super rude and not there to help. Had a really stinky attitude with me and I’m very upset. Everyone knows me in this branch , I spend over $2000 a month at this location and she haven’t showed any respect to me as a regular customer. Today was my last time Entering this location just because of “KIM” She is the worst customer service manager I’ve ever seen. I don’t even know how she got promoted and I’ll make sure to call her HR for my experience with KIM.

UPDATED REVIEW Oct 24th 2019 I will only go if Ashley is there I'm back to review today Ashley wasn't there I settled for 3 ppl on my 1 sub and each person was focused on side chat rather than what I was asking them to put on my sub I waited over 10 min when I was told 10min for the chicken to be ready i saw another person getting chicken tenders so I stepped up because I knew they were ready they kept talking an laughing with each other I had to repeat my self and stop them from putting unwanted things on my sub just a mess an literally my sub is a mess too I'm struggling to eat it. It's amazing when you find a person that does it right and treats you right you hope they are there every time you want a sub So before today I would have gave this location 1 star and my review is based off the sub station the first time I came in the guy making my sub did a horrible job he practically dumped the whole buffalo sauce on my tenders made the sub soggy an nasty needless to say the sub was left there BUT TODAY!!! ASHLEY WAS AMAZING!! Very sweet and clean she put the paper down before putting my sub down or my meat and that's huge for me the sub was delicious made just how I like it thank you Ashley ! I will return because of you

This Publix does not carry a large amount of pet food and does not carry as much cleaning supplies. I really dislike that this location does not carry items that you think Should be carrying. I understand that each store has different inventory, but there should be a common grounds between stores. If I bought someone at one location and need to return the item, I should be able to return to any publix . I’m disappointed at this location service, and if you are visiting, consider options in the area.

Essentially the same as every other Publix I've ever been to, so why reinvent the wheel? Same review I did for the other one: As a northern transplant I am forever entertained when I see reviews about Publix and how great they are. This is a direct result of their only 2 strengths. The stores are clean and the people are Customer Service experts. That's it. They have no other strength. First the deli...about the sandwiches... It's Boars Head people! Have you never had great deli meat? Boars Head is GOOD, not great. It's better than the normal store brand but to call it anything else is ridiculous. You think its "fantastic" because of the second massive issue with Publix. Truly awful selection. Pathetically limited choices. Publix cuts deals with specific providers and eliminates their competition then tells you they are simply selling the best. If the people of Florida want to see selection go to literally any other store. Check out how many different brands of deli meat you find. try some. You'll never settle for Publix again. The selection issue holds in most every other department. How do you not have Claussen pickles? Really Boars Head is the only company you have with a deli pickle? Soggy pickles are not good pickles. Fix it and you can have my money.

I had the pleasure of having Pierce from the deli department help me tonight. We lost my little brother over the weekend and have had people over for grieving. We needed some food and came to Publix to help. He was so helpful in assisting us with an on the spot order, keeping us informed about wait times and any delays, and packaged and hand delivered to our cart. He has no idea the weekend we have been suffering through but he was more than willing to help us with an apology and a smile the whole time. His small act of kindness meant so much to me and my family. Thank you.

I visited this location today 9/13/18 with my sibling that just came in from out of town. We were there for bread and cold cuts for our trip to Aquatica, I was interested in purchasing tickets to go with my siblings to Disney park the next day and one of your employees which I can’t express enough how appreciative I am, AJ went above and beyond and helped me fine Disney tickets with park hoppers. AJ did not have to go to that extent but he did. I can’t wait to go and enjoy a day with my siblings because of your employee who went above and beyond. It’s the little things

I was shopping there one day and I was insulted by some creepy guy that was following me in the store. I asked for help from managers and associates, and nobody helped.They didn't even escorted me to my car even knowingly that I was afraid to go out alone. My husband also had problems at the bakery, because some lady that worked there wanted to sale him stale bread, and getting upset when he requested fresh bread.

I ordered my son cake via online 3 days prior to my arrival with a time of 3pm. I got to the store at 3:10 and my cake was not even started. I was advised by the bakery manager Kendall that they had another 3 pm order and it was going to be “10mins” i told her fine but i ordered the cake 3 days ago. She then tells me that i can always get a cake from the freezer and she can put my son name on it. At this time i was upset. I’ve never dealt with this type of customer service from Publix before. Not even a courtesy call to let me know they were running behind or anything. After making a fuss i got the cake for free but the cake was thrown together, falling apart and looked nothing like the picture. I’m very disgusted with these actions from a company that prides themselves on customer service.
