I'm from Delaware and I'm visiting my girlfriend who recently moved down here, I went to this Publix to receive my Western Union. I didn't know what was happening but I couldn't see, my ears started ringing and I felt like I was going to pass out. I told the cashier and he told his co-workers to get help. Everybody was extremely helpful, they got me water and had my girlfriend gather my belongings while I was getting up and even offered the assisted movement scooter to get me to my girlfriends car. An actual nurse buying groceries walked by and told us it was probably a combination of the heat and low blood sugar. The ~2:15 PM shift Publix cashiers doubled into nurses and I couldn't be more thankful, 10/10 will pick up my money here again, these people all deserve a bonus or something.

I'm kind of partial to Publix. I am a demonstration chef there at Aprons. But that being said, Publix provides the freshest produce and offers a no questions asked policy for returns. Our particular store is not the largest, but we offer a huge selection of products and the employees are very knowledgeable.

Good quality supermarket catering for most tastes. This was our closest supermarket while on a self catering holiday. We managed to find everything we needed here. We liked that they do loose fruit and vegetables. There's organic varieties available too. The bakery section is good too, with a great variety of quality sliced loaves. There's a fresh fish counter and the salmon we bought was delicious. Checkout was reasonably quick, with only a short queue. The store has ample free parking right outside. It's also fully accessible, with automatic doors and wide aisles. Restrooms are also available for customers use. Of the several staff we dealt with, some were easy going and friendly while a couple of others came across slightly abrupt and stern looking. We liked the store, but the prices seem quite high compared to other shopping we've done in the USA. That's why it doesn't get five stars.

If I could I’d give 0 stars. The deli never has anyone working if they are grumpy old women. Today I stood there waiting and no one acknowledged me finally I asked some ladies and they just shrugged their shoulders so I looked in the back and asked a lady that said she couldn’t stop what she was doing. Typical Publix, where shopping is a pleasure. Always fresh products, from in house bakery and pastry shop, to the meat butcher and the seafood department. At the entrance you can refill your water bottle or rent a movie and also buy some nice and fresh flowers. Publix is a bit pricey, but by far the best supermarket chain in Florida.

Below is my old review. Deli section has improved since then and I have had a great experience everytime. I even told the manager that he is doing a great job hiring because the staff is on point. I live 2 minutes away so this is my publix. I would of gave 5 stars but the deli section needs some attention. Long waits, under staffed, and no direction. This was the second experience back to back that I was highly disappointed. Poor employee was running all over the place alone trying to get the line down and no staff jumping in to help her.

Usually I have good things to say about publix but today was bad. I went and got soup and there were no lids or containers. They gave me a different container that's smaller than the small one for the soup. I go and start to eat it right away in my work truck and it's not hot like usual it's like if I let it sit for 30 minutes and the crackers were stale. No time to go complain had to go back to work.

Publix is always great, but this one is fantastic. The employees are all extremely nice and helpful and take their time to listen to you. It's clean and has fresh produce. The manager was super nice to us and didn't seem bogged down by stress like other managers. The pharmacy was knowledgeable and kind. And I got the biggest free sample I've ever seen in my life. It was a big portion of delicious chicken and salad and the guy making it checked back in to see if I liked it and we had a short conversation that was helpful and not pushy in a sales sense. I'm extremely impressed, I'm glad it's now my closest Publix!!

Beware. This store is going to make someone sick. We are on vacation and stopped in to pick up some groceries which includes bacon. They had just restocked and every package i picked up was Hot. Like changing colors, definitely going to make you sick hot. I thought there are temperature requirements to prevent this? I told the store manager and to my shock he just said thanks for you input and walked off. Didn't stop people from buying the bacon, didn't talk to the guy stocking... nothing. I am now on my way to Walmart :( to but my groceries.

I had a flu shot and ended up shopping and found things I had forgotten that I needed. Nice clean store, stocked fairly well for a tourist area, if a bit pricey. I find it strange and off putting that they offer to carry my bags to the car when I have no need of their help but it seems to be their store policy.

As a native born Floridian who grew up going grocery shopping at publix I can honestly say that this is the single most disgusting publix I have ever stepped foot in. And I'm not just talking about the cleanliness of the store, I'm talking about the actual quality of products most notably in their produce and meat departments. On multiple occasions I have picked out a variety of produce such as asparagus or sweet potatoes to find WEEKS worth of mold growing on them. It's obvious that these products are being repackaged and redated just to keep them on the shelves longer. The produce manager claims that this is company policy but when you are putting quality of product and safety of the consumers health at risk policy goes out the window, it's repulsive. And same goes for the meat department. It'd be a miracle to find a package of meat that didn't go bad 24-48 hours after the purchase date, just goes to show that this publix has no issue reselling it's leftovers. It's also not required for any of their butchers to wash their hands before handling any of your meat or to even wear gloves. So if any of them come off a bathroom break or cigarette break whatever they last touched is going into your meat. Again not only is that unsafe and unhygienic it's just plain disgusting. I will say most of their stocking and checkout staff are very helpful but honestly I cannot wait for the new publix on new independence to open up so I never have to step foot in this pigsty of a publix ever again.

Publix, wherever you find one, is always clean, well stocked and well managed. And while they do have a house brand they do not attempt to replace proven brands such as Boar's Head meats which has been doing a good job for Publix, and the customers, for twenty five years. I love the bakery.

This is my local Publix but while I've been training my service dog in training for public access the past 3 years, I haven't been um most anywhere. But they know me and my family. I went this past weekend with my public access trained sdit and it was good. The VFW was selling buddy poppies and they helped me put poppies on my service dog's vest (I've since glued them in place) and they even helped me with a handsy guy wanting to pet my sdit (don't do that. it's illegal.). Anyways, I have food allergies my sdit is supposed to keep me away from and while I was having a prescription filled, I used the time to work on my sdit's recognising and avoiding my allergens. The crew stocking things had no issues with him and nobody bothered us or tried petting the nice doggy. The pharmacist on duty was really nice and she paid non-touching homage to my sdit. The wide aisles were great my sdit walked at my side and there was still room for carts - I'll be honest my dog and I both have wide load butts, the aisles were wide, okay. All in all, things are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and I didn't have employees treating my service dog like a photo op (again, don't do that. It's rude and an invasion of privacy. For all you know, that service dog & handler are in witness protection or hiding from an abusive stalker ex.)
