Are you 72 and want to spend 3 hours in a supermarket, This is the Publix for you! If you have nothing to do come here and simply stand in the middle of an aisle in what resembles a flash mob of walking dead zombies blocking everyone under the age of 60s path! Or partake in one of our many other activities such as running scooters into aisles also blocking the path trying to replicate Austin Powers turning around, or having 13 identical items in the 10 item or less line followed by (litteraly) 26 coupons that require a manager to approve. If you have 2 hours to kill just come here for a 5 mintue in and out trip!

Publix has always been a favorite grocery store. They are clean, have quality produce, meats, deli, frozen and other top notch departments and products. The employees are a cut above, polite, cleancut and very attentive to their customers. This store was just a good example of a successful Florida based grocery chain. 5 stars Publix, great job!

I was informed that Online Orders were priority. Ordered a sub online. I came at the requested time and my sub was not made. Had I not said anything, it probably wouldn’t have been made anytime soon. I had to wait (even though I ordered in advance) in front of 3-4 people. I don’t understand ordering online if I still have to wait anyway.

Waited almost 20 minutes at the deli and when the associate called for the next person, which was myself, I came up and started to tell her my sandwich order until she abruptly cut me off and told me she had to take care of someone else as she walked away. Very unprofessional to call someone up as next and then leave them there in limbo walking away from the customer.

This publix is my favorite supermarket but today I want to talk about the young guys that bags ypur groceries and help you out. I want to thanks the young man who helped me and walked me to the car on 8/30/2019. I was standing outside of the supermarket with my groceries and it was raining and even that he was on his break he took the time to walk me to the car and putted all the groceries on the trunk. He was very polite and told me to wait inside of the car. I was amazed with this young man. This is one of the things that make publix one of the best supermarket. I'd love to see them carry a larger selection of organics. Also, the manager at their store near Lego Land said all their produce was GMO, even the organic and the produce marked Non GMO. After that, I rarely shop there, but sometimes I can't make it to Whole Foods or Rollin' Oats.

We visited the deli for a sub at 7:00pm. The service was terrible. The guy behind the counter was moving so slow, as if to discourage other customers to go away by taking so long. There were other employees but no one helped. One guy came over and started doing the online orders. A woman came over and took away all the condiments for the second sub station. When we asked the guy why she did that he told us because they would have to make more subs if they left it there. We waited 37 minutes for our 3 subs. Our children were hungry and it was a terrible choice. They didnt care about customer service, only about making as little amount of subs they could before getting off work.

Who doesn’t love Publix!? I just wish I didn’t spend so much money there! So many BOGOs that I end up getting things I wasn’t planning on. Always friendly, clean, and well priced. It is the experience that counts for me. If you’ve never been to a Publix, go to this one!

Seems like Publix is closing their deli hot food service earlier now. This is fine but needs to be posted so people can expect it. Service time is already slow on sandwiches but expected now. If your going to close down to clean at 7 just make sure to tell customers for the last two hours no hot items. I used to really enjoy this location but the service has gone way down. At this point I will probably just go to elsewhere since service was the only reason for going to Publix over Walmart really.

I went to this store to order a wrap from the deli. The lady put the wrong label on my wrap. I didnt notice it until i was at the register and noticed i paid more for my wrap than i shouldve. So i had to go back to the deli so they could put the correct label on my wrap and then i had to go to customer service to get a refund. So i pretty much wasted at least 20 minutes of my life because the deli didnt take the time to put the correct label on my chicken salad wrap smh.

Disorganized/missing or no price tags, limited offerings, horrendous vanilla Bakery cakes/cupcakes (never thought that possible but tried different varieties with vanilla cake base & all were dry, just inedible). We couldn't find any signage or anyone to help tell us what was in the Family Combo for Chicken (we couldn't remember & had to guess). After moving to Polk from Tampa Bay area, the Publix stores over here are quite inferior to other chains & especially to Walmart (NEVER thought possible!) This was a shock since HQ is Lakeland! Even the small Publix in outliers of Tampa Bay always had great variety of fresh Bakery items (didnt hv to order), clearly priced shelves, identified promotions and above all friendly, helpful representatives at every turn. We've shopped this one (bc its so close)many times and it always disappoints, others we've tried (except in rich neighborhoods) are the same. Very sad! Positives: there's 1 particular woman that norm there opening shift at Cust Svc, she's most patient/friendly/helpful person i wish I had a name to share. And the reps at checkout are the highlight with their positive attitudes. Wish the rest of the experience could be the same.

Love Publix. Staff here is friendly and professional. Two reasons this is not a 5 Star. 1. The deli area needs help. Waits are always excessively long and they NEVER have chicken available. Even calling ahead there is a 45 minute wait. I can drive to other Lake Wales or Winter Haven store and there is always chicken available. I don’t think they know how much they are missing in sales. If it is a resource issue - hire more people or buy a second fryer. Sales will cover the cost! 2. The traffic. I feel like we risk our lives every time we go here. People don’t stop at the stop signs and speed through cutting over from Kohl’s/McD’s area. It is always dangerous. I was prompted to even do a review today due to having someone wave me to cross and someone charged out of the parking lot and went around me to go into the other lane to get by. All I wanted to do was return my cart. There needs to be some change to help with traffic - Speed bumps, traffic control solutions are available and really need to be implemented. I am surprised none of the employees there have not been concerned either. It has to happen to them regularly.

The pharmacy at this Publix is an excruciating painful experience. 48hrs to get a refill or new script. Same refill for 18 months now and they eill not stock a diabetic medication. The techs are ok but Pharmacist H is deplorable. She makes you feel very unwelcome. Yhe temainer of the store is fabulous!

I do love Publix, and I really like this store, however most of your ad merchandise was empty. I don't drive, so Sat is my only time to come in. I had a list and so much of the bogos especially were empty. However, your employees are magnificent. Your managers are awesome, your store is spotless, it just is a tiny frustrating to find so many holes 2 days into the ad.

This is one of the better Publix stores out there. Clean, friendly, helpful. If I have to ask a question, and the person doesn't know the answer, they will find someone who does. The individual departments are all well run, clean and friendly... Except the Deli. It is a roll of the dice every time you walk up. Sometimes it's wonderful and sometimes you get a clerk that you want to reach over the counter an poke to make sure they haven't fallen asleep. It is always slow unless you happen to walk in and there is no one else in line at all. Too many buggies in one spot, no clear line, and they don't use the "Take A Number" system. The Deli is still clean and the food is still top notch. It's the spotty service. I can't plan around my trip to the store because a visit to the deli might be 5 minutes, or 25. The high quality of the rest of the store keeps my rating at 5 stars, but the Deli staff needs some attention.
