Came in today to get chicken for dinner at 8:15 pm and there was no chicken ready to go staff had already cleaned up for the night ask a staff member about ordering an 8 piece he told me that it would be 25 minutes and walked away only to come back 10 minutes later to ask if I wanted to wait for it and of course I had to in order for my family food should be ready for a customer no matter what time the store close. On 10/13/14 I was helping my 93 year old friend do some shopping and while we were in the store my friend passed out (later found out a Heart Attack). I caught him and yelled for help. Mr. Alvin Chevis came with some store employees. My friend recovered and we continued to shop.. It was about five/ten minutes later, and he passed out again. I don't know what made Mr. Chevis stand back and watch us, but he was there in seconds to help me lower Elmer to the floor. Mr. Chevis got people there to help us and get a ambulance to take him to the hospital. Mr. Chevis being there made the difference and I thank him. Jerry McCartney

We regularly shop this Publix, but were very impressed by the Bakery Manager's helpfulness and suggestions. We were planning a birthday party for three family members and wanted a sports themed cake geared towards adults. He listened to what we wanted in the cake and helped us make the final decision. He even went to Tampa to get what he needed for the cake! His staff was very accommodating when we added a name to the cake a few days before pick up, and he texted my husband t let him now it was ready! How awesome is that? We were very impressed!

Well this store is making many changes. The store looks great and updated, but I cant say the same about the people that work there. I'm not sure what they are doing with the employees, but today 3/22/13 at 12:38pm they entire group at the deli dept was new... the guys had no idea what they were doing... I ordered two Sandwiches for lunch and the bread was hard as a rock. as if they used bread that was old... the most popular sandwich there (The Ultimate) was NASTY... Sloppy and difficult to eat... I go to Publix even though other places are cheaper because the experience and the people that work there. But after today I doubt I will go back. DISAPPOINTED

I went to publix like always and an employee name Ray was so rude to me for no reason. He spoke to me with out giving me eye contacts, he was extremely rude and he was not professional . He asked me if I want to purchase something from the lottery place or I am going to check my tickets. I told him i have to check the tickets. I handle my tickets to Ray and he was not giving eye contact. he couldn't scan one of my tickets , He told me with an attitude that next time i suppose not to band the tickets. rude and awkward, he did give me $ 12 . i did not ask for the money I want more tickets but Mr Ray decided for me what to have. no professional at all. I was mad i went and I spoke to the manager , he was next to one of the ails he was I think a different department manager. He was polite he did apologize he empathy and he told me that he will follow up with the situation. When i went out to my car I called the store manager and told him the story he did apologize and he told me that Ray is one of his best employee. At that moment I was shocked to have a employee like Ray as the best employee, is a disaster for Publix. Shopping with pleasure is not any more with employee like Ray at publix .

I always enjoy myself when I visit public my grandbaby waving hi to everyone it took me a minute to realize that's why everyone that pass ideas speaking to her an than I went to the customer service and ask where they keep the charcoal the person that waited on me said I'll go get it now what I left out was was looking for one of the electronic wheel chair an the customer service person said you can sit over there on the bench until one comes in I told her thank you but I told her I was alright so I had my grandbaby by the hand trying to get a regular cart of course she wasn't trying move some lady was talking to her so I let her an went and got a cart so of course while I tried to put her in the cart she didn't want to get in the cart struggling to get her in the cart and she gets in the cart and she loved it by than the young lady that was helping me comes back with the charcoal an it was a really big bag so I ask her her was there a smaller bag she said an gladly went and got the smaller one that's why I love public you can't be there customer service

I can truly say this is MY Publix because I have been employed here for 14 years. We have a Store Manager and Assistant Manager who truly care about both the associates and the customers. We carry a very wide variety of housewares and health/beauty items as well as nearly every food item you can think of. We are also continually expanding our selection of organic fruit and vegetables. I can get everything I need for my healthy lifestyle, and for my cat, Willie, without making an extra stop! ,Come shop with us soon!

Every time I visit this Publix I am wowed by the level of customer service. Today I visited and Carlo was graciously pleasant. He is amazing. Always smiling and welcoming. He walked me out to my car and thanked me for shopping at Publix. He began looking for card but had none on him at the time, so I asked what the card was about and he said to thank me for shopping with Publix. He then ran back to the store in the scorching heat to get me a card. So I also walked back to the building to save him the walk. It was a thank you card with coupons! Very thoughtful. My cashier; Mary Lou was also great as usual. It is always a pleasure shopping at Publix indeed

This is my least favorite Publix in town! They never seem to get it right in their deli!! This is not my first rodeo with them either however today 9/6/16 I order a sub at 1:45pm to be ready at 2:10pm. I always online order my subs because I get a limited lunch break. I get there at 2:20pm sub is not ready so I ask the boy behind the deli counter if I'm in the right place he tells me I am, so continue to ask about my sub that obviously is not in the pick up area. He asks around never telling me that they would get on it... So I wait paitiently until I finally ask again after seeing the guy making subs, continue to make subs for customers and even for employees on their lunch break but not me. I said "is anyone going to be making my sub!?" So finally he gets a lady to come an do it. She then tells me she is out of the kind of bread I wanted... At that point I was over it. I just said I had to get back to work so forget about it. She didn't really seem to care. I guess to her that was just one less thing she had to do. I had ordered early enough in the day that she or whoever could have made fresh bread or called and told me they would be out so I didn't drive all the way there to waste my lunch break. I would have still gotten the sub it was just the point. Every other Publix that messes up in this way (which has happened I don't expect everyone to be perfect) they make sure they get right on it and always going above and beyond for their customers, apologizing up and down but not this Publix... Not even an apology for not having it made. I have even gotten free subs before from Publix's (not ever this Publix) that may have been late getting ready or what not . I really hope this manager reads this as I would have liked to have spoken to one personally however I have a limited time for lunch.

Very disappointing experience, considering how much Publix brags about customer service. My wife and I waited in line with another customer while a cashier and bagger chatted aimlessly with a customer (who appeared to be an acquaintance). The cashier knew customers were waiting, but deliberately prolonged the transaction in order to keep chatting. When I asked to move things along, the cashier became hostile. Publix doesn't need our business with this kind of attitude, we'll be shopping at Aldi and WalMart from now on.

I was raised by only shopping at Publix! Unfortunately, I have to tell the truth! The quality of the bakery has gone down! Publix is famous for the freshness and superior quality of the bakery. I now have to go across town to south gate Publix or any other Publix if I want some quality baked goods! The Baker in the morning on most mornings has been doing a terrible job! I have never seen such poor quality in any Publix ever. I'm not sure why the manager has even been allowing over cooked baked goods to be sold! I've had to return numerous items due to quality issues! My kids wont even eat the free cookies anymore if I go because they have been so hard! I was rudely told that the quality was fine by the girl who works night in the bakery, but any true Publix fan knows the truth about the GREATNESS that is felt, tasted, and consumed by properly baked goods from Publix! I'm sad to say from now on, this is one Publix I will no longer be shopping!

Ordered a sub, when I arrived they hadn't even noticed the ticket. I had to wait 15 min after my order was due to be ready for someone to bother making it, meanwhile there were at least 5 people behind counter and only one helping people. Last time I order here

Genuinely great store with very interesting marketing tactics. Sometimes at night a man with a walkie-talkie places a walkie-talkie by my bedroom window and turns the volume up to where i can hear it. He yells into the walkie-talkie telling me about deal at Publix, but very menacingly. Very effective marketing always get my udon bowl everyday or the walkie-talkie man will threaten me with violence. Terrible customer service, I was at cash register today to check out and all I had was two items and first of the cashier Cherley, young girl, looked right at me standing in line and didn't speak,then her work friend I'm assuming was behind me and when I get to the cash register to check out, The girl Cherley tells her to come around me and she checks her out BEFORE me ,and told her to come around me! What kind of mess is that!? Didn't ask me nor apologize for doing that! Rude people! Those people need to be fired! DON'T GO TO THIS STORE, EVERY TIME I EVER WENT BAD EXPERIENCE!

Publix Pharmacy, today's visit, as well as all the other departments in Publix has always been helpful and a efficiently run, with great pride taken in customer service. I've lived in Florida since 1977 and I can sincerely say without any doubt of mind Publix is the by far the best food store in south Florida. I only limit myself to South Florida because I haven't lived north of the Big Pond in the center of this Fantastic State of ours and I can truthfully say I feel like Plublix is part of the reason why Florida is such a great place to live work and play.

A mother's nightmare when her adult son leaves home to move to Florida to begin a new job and gets very sick. Him home alone with no food and me distraight at the realization no one can take of him. No food in the house and flat on his back. Being a loyal Publix customer I relied on my instincts that somehow Publix could help. And they did. In short time they arranged a short list of itemsto be delivered to him. This is what makes Publix excel above the rest. Customer service that goes above and beyond. I have fell on hard times and sometimes I feel down because of all the stress. I struggle to keep my head above water. But every time I come to this Publix they're always so friendly so nice they always give him my kids stickers kids 12 and under get a free cookie. I went in today to pick up my meds and they gave my 3 year old boy a coloring page and a small pack of crayons. And if feel I down and I am here they always cheer me up with kindness.I feel they're more than about the money they actually care about their customs. So this particular store defines Publix where shopping is a pleasure. Sometimes I can barely keep food on my table and I could probably get food cheaper somewhere else but I choose to come here because this is one of my happy places. I just want to thank all the employees, all the assistant managers, all the managers, and all the supervisors at the store for their kindness and loving and caring attitude towards each other and their customers.
