This is one of the bigger Publix stores in the area so they always have a good selection. Organic, ethnic, party supplies, deli and prepared foods, large produce department and a large variety of fresh flowers plus Hallmark cards, magazines and books make this a one stop shopping experience for those with limited time. Can't say enough about the wonderful Publix staff - they are always friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the store is often crowded and the parking lot can be a zoo, so drive carefully!

I love publix but the service in this deli is always horrible. At peak times, only 1 person is working the meats and cheeses The wait is always very long. There are always lots of other people doing busywork but not waiting on customers. Everyone in line gets pissed off.

I shopped at Publix in SW Florida for 25 years. The Publix stores in this area especially Loch Leven are always out of BOGO's and other staples. For example just today, I went to get a few things and they were out of their brand of creamer, the pint size on a Friday no less, one of the busiest grocery shopping days. That is just one example of many shopping trips where they were out of not one but two or three things on my grocery list.

Most of the bad experiences I had at a Publix, were this store. I had all 6 of my sons, 2 of which are newborn twins. I needed about 4 rain checks, since I go through a huge amount of food monthly. The shelves didn't have the items stocked. I asked the man working at cs named Dakota for the rain checks, while both babies were crying, I was holding one in my arms. He wouldn't even write the raincheck, literally told me he would have to call each department before he could do it.. I waited about 3 minutes, while my babies are still crying, then finally told him, if he has to go through all of that to get 4 rc's dont worry about it. I left, then had a long talk with the manager the next day, he should've just wrote me the rain checks, so I could have just been on my merry way. The other customer service worker, named Christine, gives absolutely horrible customer service, always looks and acts disgruntled, and acts as if your bothering her if you ask her a question. It's bad when my 9 year old son said she was rude. Can't stand going to CS if she's working. I do love my EUSTIS PUBLIX THOUGH.

Although I am a Publix devotee from Orange to Lake County, I have permanently written off the Loch Leven Landing location for a multitude of reasons. Of primary importance is the lack of much needed traffic lights to regulate the traffic flow.... not only in and out of the multi use shopping center but to coincide with the dangerous intersection traffic flows into and from (Hwy441N/Hwy44/Donnely St). We were told that there hasn't been enough accidents or deaths to warrant a traffic light. Really? Secondly, entering the parking lot from the various Hwy 441 North entrances poses many blind entrances one cannot see around. Lastly, the continuous maze the parking lot presents promotes drivers to park along the side of Publix (rather than in a designated parking spot) so as to offer a quick exit, thereby avoiding the continuous maze and back up lines just to exit the lot. This review is more of a message to the city of Mount Dora but unfortunately Publix, ABC, Bob Evans, Chipotle, Five Guys, etc. are going to suffer my lost dollars as well as that of many other potential shopping patrons because of this issue.

Widespread incompetence, but it's more likely the result of management at corporate HQ. They routinely run out of BOGO items, and if you take a rain check they may not have it back in stock for several weeks. Sometimes items advertised in their own flyer as BOGO are not labeled as such in the store, items that their website says are in aisle 12 may actually be in the back of the store in the seafood department.

Excellent store, but the prices are very high!!! Due to very heavy traffic and no traffic lights, entering and exiting the shopping center is a nightmare!!!! To go left out of the southern end of the shopping center, you first have to fight traffic to go right on rt. 441, get in left turn lane and then make a u-turn to go south. Exiting out of the north end of the SC requires you to first go right past Loews then make a U-turn go back to the traffic light at rt. 441. This is the worst situation to get in and out of a shopping center that has a Publix in the USA. Very poor planning!!!! This situation needs to be corrected!!!

They are pretty amazing at Publix in Mount Dora Florida. I was sick in their store one day and the employees came from all directions to help me. My blood sugar had dropped drastically and they got things from their shelf to bring me back around. I will never forget that day. You can tell they have a wonderful employee training program. Some times the prices are a tiny bit higher but I don't care, they are worth every cent. The store is clean and very nice. Thank you because I am one pleased customer.

I literally was just riding by and was thinking about dinner. Hmm what to have with a leftover pork butt that's not too picnicie? Well I went in for 2 or 3 easy heat ups for sides...maybe add a dessert. Ok I so $140.00 later Greg is waiting after his hard day and I was at a Drs appt for the last 3 hours. I call Greg and let him know I'm on my way...typical answer .."did I buy out the store". Well no and just think of all the great 2/1 deals I just couldn't pass up. Lmao! Oh and I was out of my decaf Cafe Bustelo! Greg helps bring in all the bags and starts going through each bag saying I'm no longer allowed to go do groceries any more".

This is a very clean place, but I would go to the Loch Leven Publix even if it was the dirtiest place in Lake County because the people there make it special. Whether it is the smiling woman making my free taste of salmon samples or the deli man recommending and offering cheese from Switzerland, each experience is romantic. Publix always has quality food. I like to use their bogos. Sometimes they're a little more expensive but it's definitely worth the extra money for the extra quality that they have. All their staff is always been friendly and courteous. Their deli meats are great, their Fried Chicken and the Publix subs are really good

While passing a nearby publix at 9:20pm one town over from mine. Noticed that they were still open. Swung in and did some last minute shopping before July 4TH. Store was well stocked and clean! Once i got to check out lanes. There were only 2 lanes open and both had 3-4 customers in each line. Lanes stayed this way hole time i was @ front end. Mean while there was 3-4. Other employees hanging out bagging here and there while talking amungst themselves. Not saying im complaining about the employees conversations, as much as why they didnt open up a third register on a needed to quicken the overall checkout experience. One thing most shoppers like is short lines at check out. Its one thing if your short handed. But when fully or overlly staffed, there's no reason for long check out lines. Definitely thankful for the store staying open till 10pm!!

They have the slowest deli I've ever experienced. It regularly takes me 20+ minutes to get a sub made, even during non-peak times and with only one or two people ahead of me. The food is good and the service is attentive, but who has this kind of time? Literally wrote this review while waiting in line, started it 10 minutes into my wait behind two customers and I've STILL got one in front of me.

Came in 30 minutes till closing, just for a few things and some subs. Hanna helped prepare the subs for us. She was so kind and super attentive! I am a mother of three children 4 and under (twins and an older sister) and for 2 months now we have been unable to shop comfortably bc they only have ONE double seated cart . This is the closest Publix to my home and we have gotten the double cart only once , the manager told me 3 weeks ago that they would be getting more double carts “soon” but they haven’t. I REALLY don’t want to go to Walmart or aldi but I may have to.

So this one star is towards the bakery.. I've never had a bad experience ordering a cake from this Publix until last week. His name was Bobby, I think he was the manager, and his girl assistant seemed lazy and uninterested in my cake order. The cake was so simple and seemed easier to make than the one I ended up ordering but they immediately said no they couldn't do what I wanted.. so I said ok.. and just picked one they had in the book. Asked to change two colors on the cake and ended up hearing a ten minute lecture from Bobby saying how he can get sued for changed red to pink... Omg lol. Then when my mother in law went to pick the cake up they said they couldn't find it... And make her wait 15 minutes before finding the cake. Anyways. We will be going somewhere else for my daughter's 4th birthday cake. Bobby is unprofessional made me feel awkward and uncomfortable with his lectures...

Publix is the best supermarket chain here locally. They still have "the customer is always right" attitude and their customer service is pretty good. I was there today and they were super busy around 4pm so they opened more registers. Seems like the management runs this well. The only gripes I have is that every store I go into is different, and I'm not talking about the old stores, each new store has it's own layout, so when I'm not in my usual store it takes me a little more time finding what I need. The other issue I have is each store has a slightly different selection of products. I can get my roasted garlic powder in the one across town but the closest to my house doesn't carry it. They have many Publix markets near us which makes is very convenient, but I do think they have too many around here. From Mount Dora to Leesburg there are nine stores in four towns, but one is in the country part of Eustis.
