Cashier's customer service is worst and worst every day... Hello's, thank you's, have a good day's are still acceptable in 2018, and greatly appreciated by most human being. Having that said, perhaps a training will be helpful! Maybe they can look how friendly the staff is who serves the food, and learn from them.. Would not hurt at all! (and I know a "hello" and a "thank you" will not hurt them, Will not mess up the hair, nor the nails - in fact, Will make them better and happier!) I have been in customer service all my life, with good and bad days, but no one ever noticed. If I can do it, I'm sure they can too (even if they have to answer the phone - been there too with 6 phones at the same time... No kidding). YOU (EVERYONE) CAN BE FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT AT THE SAME TIME.

This place is awful. Very little selection - caters to a very specific demographic only. For example, they had 5 different kinds of margarine, but no butter at all. Produce is very ethnic, and did not look fresh at all. I would only go here again if everywhere else is closed.

I like this place. It's a nice smaller grocery store, easy to get in and out of. Prices are often BETTER than the big box stores. They have good produce and meats. I'm not Hispanic, so I have to brush up on my Spanish every time I go. People are friendly, and one gentleman even offered to carry my bags out to the car for me. Salsa music playing while shopping makes me happy!

I love this shop! There is alot of Hispanic food items. They also have a counter to get hot food for lunch. Usually about 3-4 hot entrees, rice and black beans. And it's a great deal. I recommend checking it out.

!Que Bueno! I adore this supermarket! The little plaza that it is in is well planned and thought out, it is very clever. There are other little handy business in the plaza! The supermarket itself has a delicious breakfast / lunch counter with wonderful hot food of the Latin variety affordable and cooked perfectly. The meat department has a great selection of beef, poultry, seafood. The produce department is fantastic fresh and we'll stocked. La Isla Supermarket is worth trying if you want an alternative to premium priced chain stores or impersonal giant discount grocery stores. Give them a try and you will feel that you matter to their business.

I was surprised to see the variety of products that they had in stock. It doesn't look like a very big store from the outside but inside they had a lot. From beef to Turkey spices and exotic beverages they seem to have most anything I was looking for. Plus there is the hot food section that you can grab a bite to eat. Overall, it was a good store. The staff was friendly.

This is a great, little supermarket has its appeal to the Latin tastebuds. Typical brands of the "Supermercados" that would encountered in most countries south of the border. If you haven't found it elsewhere, try this place for those herbs and spices you left elsewhere.

Produce that was packed was rotten. Carrots, tomatoes GARLIC were all rotten or with mold. I don't understand how someone can come and buy stuff from here, see this, and come back. Or even run a business like this. I was so happy to find a Spanish store around, but definitely won't be coming back because of this.

Good prices for the carry out already cooked food. However, not a place to buy your entire groceries list. It is good to buy those latin foods or brands rarely found on bigger chains, but other than those is not worth it unless you want to pay 2 or 3 times more for a normal package of bread slices. Best bet, buy your groceries at walmart or the aldi soon to open besides this market... then buy the rest at La Isla and get what you can't get anywhere else.

The food for takeout was fantastic but the wait on the register was more than 10 minutes and the people on the registers need to be more attentive to the customers and friendly as well they take care of you like they want to rush you out and some of the products there are read at it that means if the item is old they do not expose of it they put a new date so they can sell it I bought 6 items from there that had two different dates expired dates

Very unwelcoming, we brought our own bags and apparently someone told a cop about it and the cop came over and questioned us while looking at the bag. The hot food didn't look nor smell good. We sensed resentment the moment we walked in, perhaps they don't like strangers. Never going back, recomend you go to Aldi a block away

The cafe area had great food for a great price. However there were tons of flies around the produce section that contained the root vegetables (yucca, potatoes, onions, etc). Also, looking in the ginger pile, most of them were already beginning to rot. Most of the chayote squash also had white fuzzy mold beginning to grow on the top. Overall, most of their produce I looked at were not fresh (walmart at cagans crossing has fresher produce). I was hoping to come here and have a cheaper alternative to fresh produce, but i will keep my business at publix and walmart.

If you have never tried the lunch specials here it is worth the trip. They are always helpful to me even though i speak very little spanish. Friendly,clean,freah specials 5.99 delicioso! Very well run little supermarket, great grocery prices, weekly ads. Try them you will not be disappointed

Love the hot food! Great Latin cuisine, always hot, fresh, and fast with generous portions -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One large meal could easily feed two people. Staff is extra friendly and patient with this Spanish-impaired gringo. There are usually good deals on produce as well. Checkout is always fast and smooth. After writing this I changed my initial review to 5 stars because I can't think of anything bad to say (other than I got in an accident in the parking lot
