JUST YOUR LOCAL GREEN GROCER I never truly appreciated the role of the green grocer till my daughter became a vegetarian and I got tired of paying premium prices for second rate produce. Enter Kroegel Homestead produce. Consistently high quality fruits and vegetables for reasonable prices. The variety is incredible. We have tried numerous new items and they are now part of our diet. The staff is knowledgeable, competent and patient. I have trouble bringing myself to pay 2 - 3 times the price at Publix for substandard produce. The only downside is that they only take cash so swing by the ATM on your way. Well worth the stop!
