I called back and asked if they were running a store of a circus. After three hang ups the manager finally took my call - has the world come to this low form of customer service for real?

I've been shopping here for more than 10 years. Good produce at competitive prices that best the majors hands down. Smaller as it might be than the on the in Altamonte Springs, I find the produce here in better shape, often at lower prices than their sister store. The former I get: one is obviously managed better; the differences in price is incomprehensible to me.

The produce is sub par and the prices aren't that cheap, but it's the only produce place near where I live. Also, there isn't one person that works there that can speak English, so if you don't know Spanish and have any questions, don't bother asking because they will just say "No speak English" and will have to figure it out on your own. Overall, I have been to better produce markets that offer more product with a better price. This place isn't really worth the travel if you don't live in the area.

This place has the lousiest tomatoes anywhere. It seems they buy the lowest quality from their sources, then pass them on to us consumers at standard prices. They do carry a lot of other great produce, though, but to me tomatoes are the barometer I choose to measure how good a produce store is.

You can get so much produce and green things for so little, it's great! And this works out well b/c you can now justify buying all the fresh herbs you want despite the fact that you're likely only able to ever use half before it goes bad.

Great prices on produce. They also have some interesting Latin groceries, esp cheeses, spices, hot sauces and frozen fish, (though not as much variety as the fabulous Fancy Fruit and Produce on SR 436 - Semoran Blvd & Howell Branch Rd).

Prices are much higher than elsewhere, but it was clean and well organized. There were so many people shopping. Must have been at least 40 customers while I was there.

They have a large variety at low prices. Now the produce isn't as beutiful as your mega supermarket but i think that is the idea... that lime one might buy there might be 25% smaller than the mega supermarket but it is just as delicious and only a quarter the price. They seem to have some things that the mega supermarket doesn't, also.

Reasonable prices and unusual fruits and veggies. But pick and choose to find undamaged stock. Also, stock changes almost daily so if what you're looking for is not so good, come back in a day or so. Good selection of spices and Hispanic products.

Lake Mary Location - My mother would rave about Fancy Fruit until this past weekend. She purchased 2 packs of blueberries and 1 bag of apples. When she got home and was ready to cook with the blueberries at least half of them were covered in mold. She then opened the bag of apples and 6 of them were bad as well. My father attempted to return them with the receipt in hand the very next day, and some very rude lady would not refund the money. They would only offer a store credit, unlike most other food stores in the area who would give a refund with the receipt. Needless to say they lost a faithful customer.

Smallest fancy fruit I've been to, but the selection is decent. Staff could be a bit more friendly, but I dont go there for customer service. Worth a trip if you want quality veggies for a good price.
