I really like this place. The staff is friendly and caters to my every whim. Everthing ia well presented and clean. Wish Marty would start making those Peach Cobblers again. They were the best I ever ate. But on the other hand it would be alright if he didn't because I' m already big and fat. HaHa.

A great place for deals on fruit and veggies. Like a farmer's market but with the added refrigeration to also offer a variety of products and awesome staff who suffer through the summer heat and are still helpful and courteous.

Last Farm stand in Carrollwood! New Greenhouse producing hundreds of heads of fresh lettuce. Growing tomatoes right behind the store near the big sign. Chickens on property for fresh eggs. Call ahead if you are looking for an item to find out what's fresh. Knowledgeable staff very friendly! Cornerstone of Carrollwood. Hope they make it for another hundred years here. Big beautiful oak tree that is over 400 years old! Look for the deals on the big sign, no one in the area can compete with this local Farm! Pet friendly for friendly pets. Fresh Baked Bread comes in for the weekends on Fridays and Saturdays. Actual Local Raw Honey from a true Apiarist. Locally made fresh pickles salsa. Local made hummus and bean dips. Local Mikes pies. Seasonal pumpkins. Christmas trees. 50 different Pure Cane Sugar sodas, Herba Mate, and Aloe Drinks. Bearss Groves has Everything you could possibly want at a farmers market in one place. It's worth a trip from anywhere to come and see for yourself.

Been shopping for fresh produce here for 26 years and our family Christmas trees. It's horrible, don't go that way it won't be crowded when I go. Ahh what the heck, you find out sooner or later, it's the best place in town!! Family owned and operated and they're great. But shhhh don't tell anyone let's keep it our secret.

I have been coming here for a few montha now.. I jave very mixed feelings about my experiences... Today I showed up within normal hours and they were closed. Employees yelled "We ars closed... we closed early" at me from back of the market. ON ANOTHER DAY I purchased a baked good ,that was not very good and was NOT what it said it was. When I brought it back 5 minutes latter in hope of traded, because I really thought something was wrong with the loaf, they said "yea I think they are all like that"... No surprise or concern and 0 effort to improve my experience. Om several other visits: The strawberry and raspberries I get from them are regularly half rotten. There are aome important Pluses: they have $0.99 herbs that are always fresh. Amazing fresh pitta bread (only on sat and sundays . Sells out fast) Great plants and seasonal extras like pumpkins and Christmas trees. Down side/Neg: inconsistent product, pricing, and bear minimum customer support/ employees seem too busy to be polite at times... NO RELIABLE CLOSING TIME. they will send u on your way happy or not , no intrest in developing report.

Do not waste your time or money going to this outdoor grocery store. This shouldn't be considered a farmers market because everything is shipped from china, california, chile, or holland and none of it is labeled organic so it's safe to say this is just overpriced produce in 98 degrees, wilting quickly. Will not be going again!

This is an amazing market. I have been able to find some rare gems here; anything from plouts to kumquats to cotton candy grapes! Their prices are fantastic. They are expanding their green house capabilities, so there is a lot of their own produce that they grow on site for sale! Again, love this place.

Why I love this place? In a sea of upper-middle class suburbia, Bearss Groves pulls in what seems like good business selling fresh and sometimes local grown foods with a farmer's market feeling. While I can't say I do my primary shopping here (I doubt that is their goal), I almost always stop in when I pass just to grab a quick fruit or veggie to take home with me. They have lots of great seasonal deals as well (Halloween pumpkins, Christmas trees, watermelon, strawberries, etc). When we can get our hands on it, their tangerine juice is the best! Staff is extremely friendly. I can't think of a single complaint about this place. Hope it is around for a long time.

I stopped at their Stand specifically to Buy strawberries. They were the best strawberries I've ever had. They were $3.99 for the pint. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but there was a lot of variety. I picked up some fresh herbs for my ratatouille. Plus, some fresh cherries and champagne mangos. Also, looking forward to trying out a Haitian mango with breakfast tomorrow. I even picked up a rambutan for my boyfriend to try. The vegetables looked great too, but I was already stocked up, though I'll be trying those on the next visit.

They used to have top quality fruits and vegetables now they advertise the same fruits and vegetables for low prices but the size of the fruits and vegetables are sadly very small particularly the beefsteak tomatoes and those dinky itsy bitsy pineapples a year ago I went there to buy pineapples and they were like 12 in tall now there only 8 in tall I was hooked 2 years ago when they got kasturi canned pineapples that was very big now they got pineapples that are less than half that size and the beefsteak tomatoes come on man I used to be a farmer those things are critically on the sized

Everything is so fresh! The staff are wonderful! Reply to Robin Layton: sweetheart you are full of it. They support local growers. My favorite are the homemade pickles. They buy from locals. I'm sure they import also. Kind of hard to get locally grown cherries. You should just go to Publix.

This is a great local spot. We got our Xmas tree there yesterday and had a nice experience. The owner and staff are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our tree is PERFECT! Definitely recommend!

On 7/13/3019 I arrived at the groves at 6:24pm I normally go there to take advantage of the 6 30 all you can fit in a box from clearance items for $5.00. I got to the area where the clearance items are and there was another customer there. The lady who was on the registered came over the area and told the other lady that she can start filling up her box because by the time she was done it will be 6 30 and she can get the box for $5.00 2 minutes after a blind tall thin blonde curly hair employee came to say to me and my daughter God is too early like saying do not fill the box yet because it was 6:25 pm. They hav now a sign that if you fill up the box before 6 30 it will be $10.00 instead of $5.00 I got my box filled with clearance items and went to grab other regular price vegetables. I wen to the registered and the lady who was at the registered signal the tall, thin, blonde curly hair take over by his request and he asked me at what time did I get to the clearance section told him about 6:24 told me that before 6:30 the box is $10.00. told him that the night before I came at 6:30 and there was a couple that owned a vegan restaurant with two boxes and would not let me take anything because it was there whatever it was there so I asked the registered girl if they have more she said no that they got a of it that I should get there earlier so I told her I will be here tomorrow at 6:15pm also she mentioned that not a lot of people come on Saturday nights for the $5.00 box. Always people get there and start feeling the box at 6 20 because by 6:30 is all gone. I felt descriminate against. This tall, blonde curly hair guy made me feel like I was robbing the store. Little that he new that I go there all the time maybe once per month or two and I had never had issues with anyone in the store. Always been treated with respect and never been asked what time I got into the area. He barrased me in front of my daughter and then spoke bad about me with the lady that she was in the clearance area that she is a friend of the family. That was very disrespectful. I will never go there again and I have been letting everyone know about how descriminated we were by this person.

We've shopped at the grove for years and always find the best produce and fruit. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Prices are also very competitive. I do miss the Snooties BBQ that was in their parking lot.

I consider myself.fortunate to live so close to such a variety of fruits and veggies and dairy products. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. Prices are reasonable and you get to purchase a lot of local produce. They also offer organic and their very own produce grown right on the property. I find myself stopping by at least 4 times a week after work to pick something up for dinner.they even have a 400 year old oak tree on the property to view.

I kept passing by and decided to stop and try it. I've been going ever since. They have fruit, vegetables, breads, cheeses, milk, drinks, and I everytime I go, there is someone hand picking the strawberries to put in a small basket for sale. Another farmer's market did not do that and some bad strawberries were at the bottom.

Ok for quick pickup. Had no cilantro :( but their salsa is good. Produce in many areas not the freshest. Lots of apples looked old, and many peppers had rotting spots. Prices are good on some items, and just ok on others. OJ is great and they take plastic for payments. Parking lot is gravel and messy.

My families favorite place to shop for fresh local vegetables and fruits that are typically grown by local farmers. We are super happy that they now produce their own eggs onsite. Eggs are a little pricey but the yolk is the most golden color you have ever seen. They feed the chickens all the vegetable and fruits that are to ripe for sale. Can’t wait to try there hydroponic organic lettuce they are now growing onsite in their new green house.

Well worth stopping here before going to the grocery store. Everything is kept fresh or discarded. There is great variety on different kinds of fruits and vegetables. I'm very picky on what I put in my salsa and they have everything I need. For a bonus, they have milk, eggs, delicious sodas, various salad dressings and jellies. Nice collection of potted plants and flowers too. I tried the new produce market on Fletcher near Rome and can say they have delicious local tortilla chips, but otherwise, come to Bearss.
