Loved it. Sorry to those who is a stop n shop fan, i once was. But shoprite is the place to be. Beautiful setting, well organized, prices were so reasonable and affordable. The self check out was my favorite part. The whole experience was amazing. Definitely going back soon.

Love this store. There is just one major problem. They have excellent sausage that they call links. It is not link is is cut in to links which are open on each end. Impossible to cook all the juices run out. Who ever heard of not twisted sausage links. Mentioned it to the meat department and they tell me it is not even fresh it is made off premises. Why have a meat department if your not going to process meat. Now I don't trust any of their meat after hearing that statement. I may have to pay a few cents more but if I go to Watertown Meat Market it will be fresh cut.

This is my favorite ShopRite to shop at. The employees all work very hard and I have found there shop from home app to be the most helpful tool in my hectic life. I've tried other ShopRite stores shop from home, but this location has the best group of people by far!

I have no complains about service but I do have complains about customers not all but quite a few. I mean what do I expect .mits waterbury. I'm sorry. When my mom and I went shopping there, we were at seafood section getting salmon then once we explained to the guy how many pieces we wanted , this Spanish woman or maybe I should say girl who like 25 with her daughter an her mother she snuck up and said can I get a bag of mussels? I should have said something and said excuse me can u wait for turn? But I didnt want fight esp her daughter is there. And she got her mussels before we got our salmon. I dnt care if its quick and easy order or if ur picking up wait ur turn. Also my mom was there. If it was just me and that girl I would have said something . I was so close in just bumping into her cat and say oops I'm sorry. At least these 2 black guys they were more respectful. They asked me if they were cutting I said no ur not.

Shoprite of waterbury is a great place to shop Prices are very competitive with other stores. Your 10 dollar coupon is fantastic. That's a 25 percent savings on your forty dollar required purchase. What a deal!!!!!!

Just ran in for a few things although I have used this store for weekly shopping often. I am one of those who go where the best prices are for what I need to buy. When there are sales or coupons, this store has good prices, otherwise it is comparable with other stores in the area so there is really no 'drawing' anyone to shop here. It is a hit or miss with meats, I had some really nice roasts and I had some fatty, tough ones. I do like their fresh veggies and fruits. They don't leave them there to rot. They always look good but wish they had a larger department. (I couldn't find shallots and the horseradish roots were slim pickings.) Other than that, they do carry the same things most stores carry and the store has always been clean when I was there. So my advise is to always check the flyer or app. Often times it is worth the trip especially when the fruits and veggies are on sale.

THIS SHOPRITE IS DISGUSTING. MY FAMILY BOUGHT A WHOLE CHICKEN COOKED BY YOUR STAFF AND IT HAD CERTAIN PARTS THAT WAS EATEN LEFT WITH BONE AND THEY HAD TOOK TWO CHICKEN THIGHS FROM ANOTHER CHICKEN TIED TO THE BONES. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING AT THIS SHOPRITE AGAIN. DONT BUY ANY COOKED FOODS AT THIS SHOPRITE! IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN YOU 0 STARS I WOULD HAVE.

I love this place there is no other store that I've ever been too that has literally everything I'm literally looking for ShopRite has the best prices and the best food I especially love this store because everything comes in bulk big quanity and the quality is great I would recommend any grocery shopper to try this place out there is a shop rite on wolcott Rd waterbury ct accross from stop and shop that's next to the waterbury Walmart I give them 5 stars and the employees are pretty good at there jobs I haven't had any problems and no complaints I hope this store keeps it up a big fat 5 stars for this guy lol time to go eat my chicken stir fry I bought from there yummy...!!!!!!

Okay this is really a hidden gem it's not a corporate on its privately owned franchise don't just trust the circular everytime you walk to the produce department there something amazingly fresh and on sale on special just for the people Waterbury if you're in the area or if you have to be making a special trip come down look at what they have shop around meets a little bit more expensive than any place else but you cannot beat the produce

I have been doing most of my grocery shopping at ShopRite of Waterbury. The prices are very reasonable and the produce is always fresh and much to choose from. The fish dept. has been good to me. Always fresh. The meats dept. is reasonable priced and of descent quality. I have no complaints. The staff are always friendly and ready to help if need be. Even the cashiers are friendly. I also use their pharmacy and they are very helpful to answer all my questions with kindness. Usually very clean too. I am very happy to continue my shopping there.
