I have utilized Shop From Home for the time saving convenience of not having to go into the grocery store. Not happy with the substitutions provided as the associates seem to not be cognizant of their weekly sales. For instance I took advantage of the pick 3 sale this week offering Silk almond milk and International Delight coffee creamer. I was charged full price for each as opposed to $1.99; because the store associate gave me a smaller size creamer which I didn’t order. Ordered all the full size 32 ounce ones which were the stipulation of the sale. That is just one of the incorrect picks I was provided. I recommend this store train their Shop From Home associates to review and be knowledgeable of their weekly sales.

I feel shop rite has one of the best produce sections which is why I go here. The only detraction is the plaza it's in.

The store was decent. Found everything fairly easy. Visiting from out of state and for some reason my customer care wouldn't work. Maybe this location has different owners. Attempted to ask the self checkout clerk if there was a courtesy store card and first he ignored me, then rudely said no. I don't mind if there isn't, but please improve customer service. I won't be back.

Very disappointed in meat department and vegetable department. Temperature contol seems to be a problem here. Big Y in Plainville is renovating. Full butcher display. Nice large CLEAN grocery store. More varieties. I am a professional chef and have to say milk and eggs or if water is on sale I will shop here for driving convenience. I will now shop at BigY in Plainville. Awesome friendly staff and newly renovated store. This Shoprite is poorly managed. Never enough cashiers. 4.1 stars in reviews? Nope. l

Great place to grocery shop! Excellent produce, seafood and Deli depts. Thur pricing rivals the bulk warehouse stores and you do NOT need to buy bulk! Employees are always pleasant, very helpful and most importantly, accessible. Unlike Wal*Mart, where you have to search out the clerk to locate an item... Shopping at a Wally world is like going on a scavenger hunt, you're not saving any money, and there store brand is mediocre, at best. Shop Rite is BY FAR the best deal on town for quailty food.

This Shop Rite tends to have great deals in some produce as well as a vast variety of most items compared to other grocery stores in the area. However, I find that a lot of basic produce is either out of stock or in not so great condition. The bread, frozen, canned goods, etc are all very good but as I said produce is lacking. At least when I have visited. That said, the store is clean and check out is usually very quick.

I was so surprised to see a nice salad bar with fresh fruit & veggies, two types of lettuce. The deli employees are so very nice. Shop-Rite had everything I was looking for to meet my weekly grocery budget at a good price.

Always well stocked. Can never find Tropicana OJ in Bristol when on sale (I've hit it wrong 90% of my visits) but Southington always has it. More selection in the bakery as well. The hot case for meal to go (or sit at small table) is always good. They obviously know their customer base.

We have been shopping at this Shop Rite for years and are continually disappointed in their Produce and Meat departments. They have the worst Produce department in the area; it is never well-stocked on the weekend, they have an awful organic section, and when it is stock the fruits and vegetables are of sub-par quality. The Meat department is little better, but I wish they would carry more organic meats. We continue to shop here because of the prices and familiarity, but we are starting to go to Big Y or Whole Foods for meat and produce.

Ok. Produce is usually fresh but sometimes not. Prices and sales used to be good but not anymore. Aldi is right across the street and always has lower prices... Almost always have issues with wrong price scanning, digital coupons not working, or being charged twice. They also have problems with paper coupons, like not accepting ones they can't scan even though I had no issue with those coupons at other stores, like Stop & Shop. One of the usual customer sevice ladies is rude and tried to lie instead of admitting her mistake resolving an issue.
