I usually shop here for most of my groceries however last time I brought seafood I had 3 lobsters steamed and the taste and smell of them we’re horrible !!! My mom myself and my kids all had terrible food poisoning for days ... be mindful when buying seafood from here especially when it’s on sale

Really like this store. Nice selection of fresh items and there is usually some great music playin' that has me dancing up and down the aisles. 3 points instead of 4 as the management keeps forgetting to refill the antiseptic wipe bin located by the front door. This is a time of year when this is essential!! So I ended up having to track down a manager but the problem repeats on the next visit. Please address this??

Very clean and bright! This place is older than the beautiful Milford Shop Rite & could benefit from a major makeover but for being an older place, it's got a shiny clean floor, neat/tidy isles, very good meat quantity and selection & good lighting. It's a pleasant place to shop and save $$.

Great cashiers always helpful with coupons. S&S gives me a hard time when I use 'no expiration date " coupons but Shop Rite welcomes them. I figure my money spends everywhere so I'll go to the supermarket that makes my life easier.

Handicapped carts always charged and available. Staff is always friendly, and willing to go the extra steps to help a customer out before we even ask for it. Food is fresh, well priced. Store is clean and stocked.

Was living in ansonia in 2005 for 9 months went to both shop rite and stop n shop...the store then was dark dreary run down what a glorious come back! Bright wider aisles. Great produce presentation and selection.. big change- good job!

I don't regularly shop here but it was convenient. While the check out lines were longer than they should have been, the cashier who was a young woman with blonde hair could not have been nicer and more helpful. And when the store manager came over to help w a coupon she actually smiled. Was really nice to see this. Not what I was expecting, but very nice to finish the shopping this way. The few young men in the frozen isles were equally as helpful directing us to the product we needed. Very impressed with the customer service there today. Thank you again.

I have to say I'm not impressed with this ShopRite location. The produce was not the best and the bananas we got were moldy. There were barely any bagels or bakery items out and we were there in the morning. The girl bagging my groceries took forever since she would not stop talking and goofing off with the other cashiers. I would have just done it myself. Hopefully they improve.

All the people who work here are very helpful... The manager is very nice as well. My mother is handicap and has trouple bringing her groceries to the car and there is one bagger here who is sooo helpful he always help brings her groceries out to the car nd load it up for her!

With Stop and Shop strike and the holidays the staff was wonderful. The shelves were packed produce was fresh and so was the meat. All the cash registers were open and wait time was less than 10 minutes. Kudos Shop Rite.

Bought something with a rebate advertised only to find out that it was expired and they wouldn't accept return. Haven't been back since and won't be. Been using big y up the street. Cleaner, friendlier and produce actually lasts more than a day

Weekly sales and deals are worth keeping an eye on at this clean store with lots of options. The layout starts you at fresh fruit and vegetables, carries you through dry goods and you end your tour with those cold items so they are in your cart the shortest amount of time.
