This Fruit Store is classified in the category of Grocery store.
Here is where i get my birria on Fridays and sit down with kids and eat while we get some groceries or stuff for our weekend cook out
Great price for meat. Love there steak
Best store for mexican food and products. Prepare your ears :)
The meat section is huge! They have hot food but gets busy around lunch. And regular groceries. A couple cute girls too.
We love the carne asada
My experience with "Rancho", started out, like It was new to the area, just moved in the area. They are catering, for the most part to the Hispanic population, but will be more than suffice, to the needs of any wants or necessity, keeping your pantry stocked. Convenient, customer friendly, happy employees... In all respects, reputable in appearance, and I'm pretty sure the owners are not aware of the extra Enterprise happening right underneath their noses. Security, is tight! They will profile you. Even if you are not a villainamous person; you just might be followed and accused. I still feel that they have a scam going on with the food stamps.. and security is the source of the problem. Getting the shoplifters to find folks that have food stamps. Bring them in, they shop, you pocket stuff.. then security, confronts situation( his job), before checkout, asking shopper if he doesn't pay her fine, she will go to jail. And then will ask if you have cash or would you like to put it in food stamps. They charge a minimum $50 a person. It's a no limit amount to what they could charge. You might be going home together, but you have to pay for that, and sit and think , how a grocery store... Would make a family go without food for the mo., Make me feel like a criminal. Convenient yes if they just stayed a grocery store. But nobody wants to be labeled as a starving thief. No matter how close to the house it is. Investigate for your self, don't take my words for it. Scandalous, heartless, potentially problematic, it might not offer you the same experience. I'm not bitter.... Full of sorrow.
Love it got my set up there
That was the biggest chimchanga I ever seen it was good
Clean classic and so worth the trip to your nearest El Rancho Market. Popular spot for lunch at the food court. Tortillas made fresh as well as Caldos carne and Fortas. Can’t believe I have not given a review yet. As for the marketplace has a lot of options and the produce section is very large. Don’t forget to grab a specialty drink or some pan before you leave.
It's ok as far as a grocery store goes. If you come to eat, then food is awesome
Very busy place. Lots to look at. Check out is sometimes a bit of a wait. Service is pretty fast n friendly.
Lastnight was okay. But they do cater to the hispanic demographic, the workers are usually rude. There are a few occasions when I bought a gallon of drinking water and when I opened it, it smelled like water from a fish tank. And they do not refunds. No matter how defected the product is.
Great place. Nice selection with great prices. The customer service is great as well. Don't forget to check out the restaurant and bakery!
New stop on taco Tuesdays. Quality meat and produce. Fresh guacamole, ceviche, salsa and tortillas.
I dont shop here but I visit often to eat at the food side. Everything you can imagine as far as Mexican food . And made the best way too. ...by Mexicans . The very best way. Good job my brothers .
Good food and good service
Staff is very friendly. I don't speak Spanish but they have many bilingual staff to assist. They r all very friendly and give the place a good family feel. Very well asdtocked and vegetables look fresh. They have a restaurant inside and everything is in restaurant is Hispanic or Mexican food. Like u see at Mexican restaurant. I recommend this place to shop if you r in Phoenix. O yeah and they have awesome cakes. I provided some pictures
I love this store. The fresh fresca con creme is on point. So are the civiches that they make fresh. Oh and theres is an awesome cocina with all the most popular food dishes. I would give them 5 stars but the prices of every day items is pretty high compared to frys, Albertsons, walmart, safeway, ect.
This location has a huge deli with good food & service
A wonderful taste of Mexico you can't beat the prices for the fruits and vegetables and the meats. Only wish they had more sales on beverages like soda.
Great meat store
I had a problem at this store. The customers service representative didn't I spoke English and was very hard to speak to her.
Took Mom and she got her candied fruits and the staff was great.
Need milk and the service was so friendly, and it smelled heavely! I would definately shop here again
Like thier produce s lot. Reasonable prices.
Great service n low prices..
Unfortunately I forgot my card and told the ladies at the fresh fruit to hold on for couple minutes I had to run home which was across the street to get my card and here the one Mexican lady just put them away even though we specifically told them we are going to get the items but unfortunately they just put it away...
Awesome place to shop. Daily specials. Today was t bone for 3.99 a pound. Porter house for 5.97 a pound. Tommorow shrimp is on sale. 2.97 a pound.
Food in the kitchen is not good at all it's always dry or old and then its always pricey to for some food that dont even taste good !! GOT 2 PUPUSAS FOR 3.50 EACH AND IT WASNT EVEN WORTH IT SUPER DRY WHEN EATING IT FELT LIKE A PLATE THE MEAT IN IT WAS SUPER DRY PORK AND DIDNT EVEN HAVE CHEESE !
I love my el rancho market its always there for me when i need it good prices and great food to choose from mexican and amrican just needs some more amrican speaking people
Great deals. Great foods. Love this place.
Ranch Market is a good grocery store to go shopping at rather your money is right or you really don't have a lot and the employees treated with the Quiet amount of respect my experience shop at El Rancho I give him a five star
Great place to pick up regular and ethnic groceries.
Its right across mah house
I come here for the guacamole dip and salsa. Very delicious and fresh.. Overall, this place is clean..
Great place for meat!
Good selection of American and Hispanic groceries at low prices. They have a nice meat counter with big selection.
The shopping area is clean, food is decent, and sales are typically good. If you plan to visit please compare the sales cost vs regular cost. Please avoid the restrooms they are utterly disgusting!
I love your prices ..... alwas the best place to find Hispanic food at good price
Nice!!! Can't go wrong here. Give them a visit.
Ok
Good food extremely noisy from hydraulics in the kitchen prep area semi good food
Large store with good selection in produce, meat, bakery, groceries, etc. Wide aisles to move around.
WAY TOO over priced for what they are selling and for the general clientele (demographic of people who live in the area). I mean, come on.. $3.49 as the regular price for Moreno cane sugar or $1.59 per pound of C & H., Really?
The produce isn't fresh.. I bought bell peppers only to find mold inside them. The butcher doesn't wear gloves and handles different kinds of meat at a time.. cross contamination! Not good!
Bought chicken legs that r big fat and juicy. Tasted so good.
Momos is a good store to shop at I give it 4.5 stars
The food here is delish!! The prices of their produce is super affordable! If you haven't tried their avacado salsa you are missing out. Everyone that works there is super friendly too.
Love shopping here you can have lunch or dinner awesome drink station
I got spoiled food from here once..
Great fresh produce and good sales on meat keep me coming back.I hate that I will be moving from such a good grocer soon.
Thank goodness they were open on Christmas day.... Everyone in the store were happy to help you!
Love this store the authentic mexican flavor
The store is clean, bright and spacious. My husband was able to find cheeses, spices and other items he could not find in other stores. We got our lunch in the store and the food is delicious, there is lots of it and the price is quite reasonable. My only criticism is the ladies at the lunch counter were not bilingual, but that is why I insisted my husband accompany me. I plan to make this my favorite Mexican food restaurant.
Employees cut in front of you in the hot food line. Bags full of trash are put on top of the food prep counters in bakery. Produce is very old. Meats do not look fresh. No handicap carts.
They have really good food and their produce is pretty cheap. The only downside is their customer service. I'd give their customer service 1 star
Good ethnic grocery store
I love their marinated chicken!
This place is the best, from scratch, authentic Mexican food. Love watching them make the tortillas. They will let you buy them warm in a bag.
I went to buy a few items and I was so shocked that I left. The ice cream was completely melted and running out on the the shelf. First I thought the freezer must have burnt out. Then I went to a separate part of the store for lunch meat and the meats were room temperature. The produce was wilting. The store is run down. The ceiling tiles have water damage and mold growing on them. Shelves have expired products mixed in with good ones. The frozen veggies in another freezer are not frozen. This store should be shut down, and I'm not sure how they pass state inspections. Unbelievable!! They don't deserve the 1 star but the only good stuff is the cakes in the bakery. Though now I'm not sure I would trust eating them either.
Went in at about 3pm sat afternoon to buy a quick meal taquitos, cheese, salsa, sour cream. In and out in 20 mins, everything is clearly marked and easy to find. Someone is always around to help you find things and the checkout was quick.
The cooked food is outstanding and I just like this market.
Great food and good selection of salsa and Mexican sauces.
Its very nice & my 2nd time shopping there..
I refuse to do businesses with an establishment where you’ll be discriminated and overcharged if you don’t fit with their language and culture. My husband sent me there to buy a specific broth that includes tortillas. Since they didn’t have it I asked about other dishes. A “gentleman” who overheard me ordering mocked me with the cashier said “look look she pushed all the Spanish she knows.” For which I replied that my native language is Spanish that I’m just from a different country. When I got home my husband checked the order and noticed they charged me $5 for 3 tortillas that are supposed to be free. He has purchased lunch from there before and he knows that the tortillas are a side included with the meal. Keep in mind that a packet of tortillas in the grocery store is about $4. Next time he went there he questioned the cashier and manager why they charged me more and they denied it, even when my husband had the receipt and the bag with the price label in his hands.
Dont go here there nasty and lazy when it comes to raw meats. Especially there chorizo. Weve bought some 2 nights ago and when we tried making it yesterday there was what i believe pig hairs all over it. At first i saw one and as it kept cooking and getting darker the hairs came more noticable so we had to throw it away. Its not the first time something like that has happened. Just a waste of money and time
In and out in 20 minutes awesome customer service.
Many Mexican items to choose, bakery, meat, and economical fruits and veggies.
Good meat, easy to get large portions which is great for big family's and the price is very reasonable:)
Fantastic burritos gotta try their food
Cheapest shopping store around
Find everything easy
Best damn food in Phoenix EL YUMMY
Always has the best deals oneat and water
I love this place! Great deals on produce and meats! Every Wednesday they do produce sales and then on Thursday they do their meat sale. I definitely recommend this store.
This place smells like a dirty fridge. If you can get over the smell, the homemade tortilla chips and guacamole/salsa is awesome!
This grocery store has some good deals depending on what you're buying. One thing we hardly ever buy here is the beer, it's too expensive, and we don't eat a lot of red meat or pork so I don't know how good it is the one they sell here. They also have sweet bread which is our favorite, a lot of Mexican candy, piñatas and plates for the menudo or pozole. This store has a lot imports from Mexico some are cheap other not so much compare to other grocery stores. One thing I do not recommend buying here is the cheese as it goes bad within 2 to 3 days. The food they sell here already made it's always delicious and the ladies that work in that department they always have a smile on their faces, very friendly and great costumer service. If you ride your bike to this store you'll have a hard time finding where to lock it since they have NO BIKE RACKS. (From my own experience: one thing I do not like here is the black guy from loss prevention, he follows you around and stares at you like if you're stealing something. I bet when sees you paying for your groceries he feels like an idiot).
I want here specifically for piggy cookies and they didn't have any but the place is fine. Very helpful employees
Good prices on fruit and veggies but I think most things are pretty expensive. Their kitchen make wonderful food to eat if you are looking for authentic Mexican food! I prefer eating there than at any other Mexican restaurant!
Very friendly and helpful even on a busy day
Close to my apt. Nice place
So far, they’ve got the best Horchata & Watermelon Aguas Frescas in the valley.
We weren't able to experience the fresh food. It starts this week and we are excited to shop here more frequently!
Love this market and the little restaurant inside. Prices are good and the selection s are fantastic. I deducted one star because many of the employees do not speak English and that can be frustrating.
Pretty girls work there oh, that's always a plus
This store has everything !Even a cool drink to have while you shop..
The store itself is ok. You can find groceries with decent pricing. Can be better. Please be careful in the parking lots: There were a lot of glass pieces every time I visit this store. Guess what, even after being so careful, a huge piece of glass penetrated into my front tire causing an almost bran new tire (just over 2000 miles on it). I reached out to the store and I was told that they do not manage the parking lot. I had to replace my tire with my own money!
First time coming in and I will be going back, just love it!
Fun place to look around and discover a LOT of new things. You'll find things here you won't find anywhere else. Love this place.
I come for the cooked foods! Today I got the caldo de res (beef soup) but everything there is delicious!!!
It's a good place to get food and other stuff
Pretty much the closest grocery store to me.
Food was eh at best and when I asked if I could pay while I wait for the food she said uh huh and then charged someone who was after me. Then the water lady helped like 3 people before us even thi we had been waiting and had paid the horchata at the food station.
Always fresh meats and veggies! Everything always tastes great!
This is a place that is close to my house, so, I go there a least once a week, this is a hispanic market were you can find products from different parts of the world as well as national groceries. Usually they always have young kids, who for your surprised they are polite and friendly, I usually go there either Wednesday for fruits and vegetables, Thursday for meats or the weekend for the specials deals. Nice place to make your grocery shopping but just keep an eye, some time they forgot to change prices to the especial deal price. I had that happpen twice I let them know and they apologize and give me the discount price. This a nice and quite easy to navigate little store and fast in&out if that's what you are looking for.
Ok supermarket, beer selection is basic, produce fresh, and eatery ok. Only thing that really is off-putting is the smell of something funky through the store like something rotten.
Always clean, can spend a long time here, even the hot ready to go deli food is good!
I thank the manager. It is my adopted father's birthday and I didn't have anything for home not even a dessert. I was 30¢ short I thought So the manager gave me $1.00 .turns out I didn't need the help because ice cream bars were miss labeled and cheaper the priced so I gave the manager $1.00 back.... Just the fact he was there and willing to help meant alot.
Nice and friendly people.
Cheap prices, great value, good shopping experience! Always fresh food
The have the empanada dough I needed. They actually had a variety to choose from, at a good price. Not strictly Latin products, they sell all regular supermarket items as well...
I was brought here by my boss after winning a bet, the food was made fresh in front of us, and it was amazing, about the same price as your standard fast food joint, but the quality was so much better. If your going to get Mexican food and have a few minutes, definitely worth checking out this place. And its inside a grocery store. So that's a bonus too!!!
Good variety if Hispanic items. Like plantain leaves, cassava root(yuca), goya products.
I wanted a pinata and boy do they have them!
Great prices small stores but great selection!!
Great prices, employees and customers are like family.
Great food and price Love their steak
Good mex food . Cant cook eggs and ham.
EXCELLENT! The Mexican
Great deals
Had dinner there, food was really good. There's a variety of good foods, treats and other groceries
Clean, friendly employees and great smell of fresh tortillas!
Great food selection and prices! I especially enjoy getting their family meals of chicken and carnitas because they come with rice, beans, freshly made corn tortillas and your choice of fresh salsa. I love getting their shrimp ceviche as well. Mantecadas as soooo yummy! Don't forget to pick up freshly made flour tortillas!!! So darn good. Staff is really helpful and friendly. My only complain is their carts. They are pretty old and gross and hardly ever available. So bring one in as you walk by! Lol
Only go for what I need
Best meat market around! Looking to make tacos go here first. Yummy chicirones and watermelon juice
Always very clean and very well organized! A lot s hispanic items, great kitchen and attentive service! Good prices!
El Rancho offers a large variety of affordable poultry, seafood and vegetables. There is an abundance of Mexican food products. Their freshly made tortillas is everything. The friendly and helpful staff made my shopping experience pleasant. Definitely will be shopping there again.
Bathroom clean, hot food just the right tempeture and flavor, great services,
Delicious hot meals and sweet bread! And great prices on veggies and fruits. Had a great time celebrating Mother's Day! Thank you El Rancho for the entertainment
Got everything I needed for dinner! Got spaghetti sauce, garlic bread, and noodles. The only thing I couldn't find was basil leaves but thats probably because everything is in spanish
We come here pretty much every Sunday for tacos. I also buy groceries when needed or fresh tortillas. Clean and friendly staff as well.
I think needs to be a little more clean
Love this place. Authentic and great prices. The employees are freindly and the food is great. Best Bakery and hot kitchen in a grocer on this side of town.
Nice place to shop with very reasonable price.❤️
Excellent store with hot food to go if you prefer. Full grocery store with a lot of hard to find items in stock on a regular basis. Fresh baked goods as well. Wish I had a place like this close to home.
Security is real good
Good a little pricey, would'nt do all my shopping there.
They've got grits. I'm good. Switching stores.
It was ok. Fruit too bruised. Albondiga soup too spicy. Not a lot of choices on mexican sweet bread. Will most likely not return.
In the back part of the store it smells like something died two weeks ago in there and its not even near the seafood dept. of the store
They have what frys doesn't carry.
Went in to look for my favorite bread which I couldn't find. I saw something I liked and asked how long the product was sitting at the case for since it had cream cheese in it. She didnt know exactly and responded with 3pm. I went in at 8. They need better organization, who knows how long they had them our for. Another time they served me expired strawberries and cream.
The best Latin food and product in America
Cool place.
The store is clean and the people who work there are helpful.
I really like this store. The prices on most of the items are great! I will be going here more often
Hope and pray that you never have a quality problem with their inferior merchandise. Do not expect customer service because there is none. The managers just do not know how to handle complaints or handled or customers. All they know is money rolling into their registers. And when you compare their prices to others, it shows that their bank accounts have got to be full. I personally will never ever spend any more of my money over there. If you do, shame on you!!! I am a former Bakery and Deli manager was plenty of credential as well. I work 12 years for the Kroger company in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Running Dalmatian bakeries, I managed delis in bakeries for Lucky food stores before they sold out to ABCO, and I also managed Ellie's its fries before moving into restaurant management. But you're just keeps dropping their on throwing your money away have a great day folks I could never have ever ever ever treated a customer returning merchandise as I was treated this very day
It ok prices are way way to high
This was just my very first experience in an Arizona market. Im from Long Beach, Cal. and id definitely drive back here from Glendale.Az. nice ... Very nice!!!
This seriously has to be the Rolls Royce of Mexican markets. It is unbelievably CLEAN and well stocked. The fresh deli will render you speechless with all salsa and guacamole varieties and the hot food counter is second to none. We order burritos for my office and I swear these things are 10lbs each. You wont be disappointed!
Really difficult to navigate the aisles. There's only one cart for handicapped people and its super faulty. Folks inside are not very helpful.
GOOD PLACE TO EAT AND SHOP FOR FOOD
Produce always looks like it's on its last day and a couple managers are rude.
Love to go there for my fresh tortillas, and fresh salsa bar and they have soup bones that keep my dogs happy too! They also have great weekly specials on vegetables and fruit.
Good source for fresh tortillas, 'Mexican' deli, pan dulce, various Hispanic ingredients & goods. Yes, they speak both Spanish & English, so don't hesitate to check it out.
Great cooked fried beand at the kitchen section, but I saw moldy flour tortillas.
As usual best store ever, amazing employees, great prices and wonderful produce n meats.
Love their deli food...they have alot of hispanics items you cant find at regular markets
