To this day the firm has a rating of 4.1 stars over 5 and that score has been calculated on 548 reviews.
As you can read, it reaches an feddbacks average is good, and it's based on a large number of reviews, so we may be quite sure that the score is quite credible. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Fruit Store belongs to the category of Grocery store.
Great food and meals.
The meats are usually fresh and those guys are doing wonderful job cutting and serving, store it self is very clean and stuff is friendly, people at the registers are very fast and courteous, how ever the parking lot is little tight and it is mostly crowded, also restaurant in side the store is preparing tasty food.. Check it out
Lots of spices and good prices nice staff just would like to see vegetarian options like tofu
Hit or miss experience at the restaurant. It’s close and seems fresh so we’ve been numerous times. Inconsistent quality usually. Bakery and baklava great! But tonight, I ordered dinner for my family. When I went to pick it up, they asked what I ordered. I told them, they read the ticket, they counted, I paid, I left. I got home and my kids’ food wasn’t in there. I called. They told me to COME BACK TOMORROW!! For my kids’ dinner! Nothing else they would do, just try to hang up on me so they could close. I paid for it but had to finish making dinner myself anyways. Like I said, normally a decent experience. What gets me is the dishonesty. TWO girls checked the boxes and the order before I left. I called as soon as I got home and the response was to come back tomorrow for my refund or my food. That’s shameful. Not acceptable from ANY restaurant, much less from one that seemingly exudes religious observance.
Baiz market in Phoenix and Mesa both are very good place to buy halal meat. I really like this place to buy meat and chicken and Mediterranean spices and Indian spices and rice items. They do have a restaurant inside which has good selection of Mediterranean dishes. They have good selection of beef, lamb, goat and chicken.
I ask the meat department to give me small cubes meat. When he finish it was not the size that I want it. I asked him if you can cut it again, the young guy who works there show me an attitude and he didn't want to do it . I told him if you want cut it any smaller than I'm leaving. Start arguing me so I left. I want to a new store. who can do there job better. It was my favorite store until that guy ruined my experience. It was very convenient close to my house.
Well, I’m very disappointed at the restaurant service. I was waiting for more than 40 minutes just for a Falafel sandwich. People who ordered after me got their orders way before. When I went to ask the lady about my order she said they still working on it, BAIZ, ITS ONLY A FALAFEL SANDWICH, it should not take more than 5 mins to prepare not 40 mins. I had to cancel my order since I found out that they hadn’t started it which disappointed me more.
Great place
I’ve been going to Baiz Market for 20 years. The market has a hot food ‘restaurant’ in it. I don’t know whether the restaurant is owned by Baiz or perhaps the space is sublet. I’ve seen a number of people run this restaurant over the years. The current team doesn’t seem to care about customers at all. Today was not the first disappointing experience I’ve had with them. Ordered two shawarma plates (1 chicken and 1 beef) and a pound of garlic dip. Got two sandwiches and a pound of hummus. The cashier could not have cared less. The market is still great. Just avoid the haters running the restaurant section.
Best middle Eastern food in Phoenix. Very friendly staff. Good market with excellent bread.
I Love Baiz! Best schwarma, Great selection of grocery items. They have Ladyfingers!!
Wonderful place to get your international foods like Persian! So missed stores like this from growing up in Canada.
I prefer purchasing my vegetables and meat at Baiz because it's halal.
If you need Mediterranean or middle eastern food and spices this is the place
This place was with out AC and products were expired and bad raten smell all over the place. Health department needs to visit this place and i am aure they will close it immediately!
The place is very good but Casher people is very Rude , Non-professional customer service if you not Arab Disrespecting poor customer and talking Arabic language gossiping of a customer i am customer for a long time but now they hire very bad peoples Especially Casher Am sure if this thing Continue they are going to lose all Customer!
Large variety of groceries. Employees need to be friendlier. The store needs some remodeling. It old inside.
I don't like they cut they hours. Before they hours was until 9 pm then changed to 8 pm now its shorter.
Great customer see ice...
I bought a big tray of Baklava for my office today. It was fresh and people loved it. Many of my co-workers asked me for the address. Keep it up!
Good place but small
Very very good, we will come back many times in future.
Decent food in the restaurant...market has super fresh mint cheap and the best fresh pitas
I went t the store yesterday to eat . I want to talk about my food experience. I had salad with chicken and the chicken was really dry and the salad had about 2 cups of water in the bottom. The staff was really friendly but the food wasn't as good as i thought
I ordered thyme w onions/tomatoes, shawarma. The best Mediterranean thyme I ever eaten. Cost affordable 1.75$ plus 4.99$ (shawarma). Good and fast customer service.
Good for Halal food
Fresh and cheap veges and nice place for international people in America.
If you want authentic middle eastern food, come here! They have a restaurant inside, a deli with a variety of meats, and they even have a bakery! The food is also amazing, a variety of different foods to select from. The only find I have for the place is that the fruits aren't always as fresh as you would like then to be; The vegetables are though. And that the restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food is worth it. It's delicious.
Great store fresh vegetables and meats
Skip the deli at the Phoenix location as the Mesa deli is much better.
Great place to buy halal meat, chicken, and turkey. Also love the dates they sell
I have never had a bad experience buying meat or chicken from Baiz. I love to go here for lamb stew meat, bones, chicken, ground beef, and chops. They have a large selection of produce. Huge, sweet carrots, nice fruits, they have halal hot dogs and halal bacon, lebna, nice cheese selection, rice, couscous, so many nice foods in one place. I love to order the meat pitas from the restaurant, as well as the sweets from the bakery. I love to stock up on breads here as well. And their breads last very long in the freezer. I did work here for a couple of days, and wouldn't recommend working here. They pay ridiculously low wages, so I quit. And the manager never paid me for the 2 days I worked! So, don't work here, they are awful employers. But a good place to shop.
Diverse ethnic food supplies and halal meat. best price for herbs . Eatery serves good middle eastern food, great for lunch , snack or take out . Have fresh baked breads and desserts.
Amazing pre-made food to eat there or take-out and great grocery
The best chicken shawarma outside of the middle east. Authentic baba ghanouj, hummus, and tabbouleh. I've yet to try something at the cafe that leaves me wanting. Add to that their great selection of affordable produce and Baiz Market is a great spot for a quick meal, grocery shopping, or both.
Great staff, good deals on the pizzas, fella is amazing, smoothies also fantastic. The owner Farris informed us that the sausage and pepperoni are pork free so I know what we are getting next time.. although the BBQ chicken pizza was amazing.
I don’t recommend this place it smells so bad if you want an Arabic or Indian food go to the one in Tempe it’s more clean and organized.
Great variety of Arabic food
Great choice of halal meat, having restaurant with quality sumptuous halal food is plus.
Rude people work here. If you are not an Arab they ignore you. Shouting at these folks to get their attention is not my idea of serving the public. 1 star for food prices but I want them investigated.
Went to the new Glendale location and it took 30 minutes to make a shawarma sandwich very disappointed tips need more staffs
Nice little middle Eastern grocer in the city as well as hot food....
If you wanted to try food from Iraq, or refresh your memory from years back in force, all you need is to get here.... there are fresh dates, figs, lamb, all kinds of stuff. Really worth coming for lunch at least. It is a genuine taste and food is prepared by people from the region...
Great food and service. Excellent products.
I hardly ever review businesses, but Baiz Market deserves that I take a minute and give this family a HUGE CREDIT for all the hard work they do to provide us, the Muslim community, with HALAL Meats! I've been in US for over 15 years and I had to almost become vegetarian because I always doubted about stores selling HALAL stuff until Baiz Market opened and I've been shopping there since then. I'm certain, but million percent sure that all meats at the store are HALAL! I've not only seen pictures but also videos that shows how the owner himself is slaughtering the animals! I wish the owners can publicly post these pictures and videos! For those haters that are spreading false information about this place and the owners, please if you really care about meats being HALAL, be a real Muslim first, act like one, and wish your Muslim brother all the good. A real Muslim will never spread false rumors about his Muslim brother & will never hurt him! I just got my lamb Qurbani order today, with my name tag attached on it. it was very fresh and the butcher cut it and packaged it for me the way I wanted it to be! Can't be more happy or find any better than this! Be peaceful you people, and thank God that there is an honest place that can provide you with HALAL stuff!
Food is always great there!
They have unique food items that you can't find any where else at a good price, also have a restaurant with great food
It's nice market but some of the employee must have the basics of costumer service like the girl at the pastry she was yelling on the costumer she hit his shopping cart with the bread boxes that she was pushing and told him with angry colored face " don't stop in the middle of store " she said that from where she put the bread and he was on the meet counter, so she was yelling. He didn't say any thing but if she did that with me I'll never leave the store quite.
The best middle eastern market in Arizona
The food is very delicious I never try like this food in other restaurant I give 10 star
Bon appetit!
Perfect place to get halal meats, imported food or try new food at the restaurant. Meats a little bit expensive, though.
Really yummy arabic food at the front, good selection of fresh and dry produce and extensive selection of meats. All around a great place to shop and grab a bite.
Love the tea sets and food
Very friendly staff..good food...
Have only been here once, the people were very friendly, meat was reasonable, and later found to be really tender (lamb), the the Baklava is to die for, all the different flavors, Yum! Cant wait to come back and try the restaurant!!! I think I got lucky with parking, but it would be worth the wait. Great friendly place!
don't go here if you looking for fresh goat meat. Goat meat was not fresh (it was more like frozen) at all and when asked if he could meat in relatively small pieces he just answered me rudely that he cant. Plus goat meat when cooked was more like horse meat then goat meat.
Friendly people. The restaurant offers really delicious food
Bad service in all departments and bad quality food.
food prices not bad customer service very poor casheir didnot great me i told him shoukran didnot replay his name noor bad experiance ill not go back not woth it
Very unprofessional manager and people in charge. They don't deliver what they promise. Too bad, it used to be better.
Love this place .
Years we are shopping them and very happy
This market is the best! They got a complete selection of goods. I was looking for some fruits because I'd be visiting my Aunt who was in the hospital and give her some fresh fruits and veggies. They got new and affordable selections which is definitely a plus. Two thumbs up!
I have been coming here to this location for 7 years. I Love everything here. The grill is good. The meat is good. The tea is why I shop here. The vegetables are really delicious. I recommend coming here. Try a bit of everything. The staff is friendly. You can't go wrong!
Baiz is great. They have really cheap prices for herbs, vegetables, middle eastern foods, etc. Definitely recommend checking it out and picking up some new foods!
Probably the best middle eastern/mediterranean market in the Phoenix area. The bistro is great if you want to grab a quick lunch or even have them prepare the food a party at home - I did it for 50+ people and everyone loved the ethnic dishes. I visit the store at least once a month for a variety of products ranging from yogurt, meat, humus, great veggies, etc.
Nice produce. Good prices. Baba ghanoush. Olive oil, yogurt and the flatbread is the best
Great restaurant for reasonably priced authentic Mediterranean food. Best baklava. I remember coming here as a kid the staff here used to be ridiculously happy and freindly. Now I either get a slight smile from a couple employees and scowls or dismissive service from the rest. Oh politics.
Amazing international style deli market.Their food is delicious
Customer service really poor at the cafe
Love everything about Baiz - the grocery selections, meat counter and the little restaurant. Every trip ends with spinach fitaya and a yogurt drink :-)
We've been going here for years. It's not a discount place, but has specialty items of many types. It has the best coffee and yogurt in Arizona, the best Arabic bread and other exotic items unique to this store. Meat products are good too. The staff are helpful and cooperative with customers. It's Halel for Islamic visitors (and this is very similar to Kosher, nearly identical, for Jewish customers who are curious). There's a lunch section with prepared meals. As Christians who have traveled in the Middle East, its also a pleasant reminder of our travels there, as many Middle Eastern people shop there too. I recently used a shopping trip there with a young relative to explain ME culture, as he was able to see people in Hajibs, etc.
I was at the northern location today which is I always go there to buy groceries but today I had really bad customer service with cashier u can feel the cashier don’t even like her job her cashier #20 like I told her if u don’t like ur job don’t stay
This place is amazing! Great prices on spices, a gorgeous meat selection, and a little dining area in front with a kitchen. Oh, and fresh baked stuff, and... Anyway, huge fan.
They should update their hours I was there it said close at 8pm but it was closed at 7:15pm other than it’s okay
Full halal butcher, local grass-fed beef, excellent bakery, and a great olive bar. They also have an amazing little restaurant with the best chicken shawerma ever. Cheeseburgers, baklava, medjool dates, saffron by the gram, fresh injera, every spice you could ever think of--it's all here.
Very nice, Helpful staff. They have Turkish delight and it doesn't cost a fortune!
Great chicken swhrama at responable price.
Very expensive place ...but most important the employee very rude and very bad customer service i ever got in long time.. .I dont know if the owner of this place ever watch his employee
Great bucher shop, fresh cheap produce and food
Its so expansive place and also the meat doesn"t look halal
Fantastic place the fresh naan is the best. Large selection of meats and produce also. Restaurant inside as well which is good.
This is where I buy my meat, great place all the time!
Chicken and all the regular stuff is popular here, but I made the trip for some lamb. And next time for some goat (I've bought goat at the farmer's markets but you don't see it at most grocery stores). Before I go next time I'm making a list of wants, because even though it's small, the unusual choices are overwhelming. I lingered over all the desserts and cheeses and spices and meats. But I left with just one jar of roasted eggplant because I couldn't decide! Also stopped in the restaurant and had lamb kebabs (very soft - softer than filet often is!) and tabbouleh.
Very bad food salad very old
The best pita and tanour bread! Great vegetables at good prices. Excellent deli.
Fresh cuts of meat are always good there. Good prices.
Halal meats, including beef bacon
This the Baiz in Mesa I’m referring to why does Baiz hire all rude drop outs? The customer service at Baiz is the worst service I’ve ever encountered. You walk through the door you won’t get a “Hi welcome to Baiz” or even a simple smile. I feel like everyone is miserable and hates their job, especially the Restraunt and deli. Their prices are way too high , we are not in Cali! Their meat rots the next day after purchase. And the Restraunt is inconsistent, one day the food looks near fresh and other days I get hard dry double cooked pieces of chicken , I ordered 2 pounds of garlic sauce for a party I took it home opened it to put in a dish and it’s all watery, I took it back immediately and I asked for a fresh one and I was told “we are not responsible if the products spoil after leaving” “are you sure you didn’t leave it in your car ?” Like first of all I only live not even 5 minutes away literally right behind the school next to Baiz , Garlic sauce should not spoil from driving from the store to my house. I will never shop at Baiz , they have a policy the customer is never right. They will sell your family expired food and blame you for not checking the food before leaving. I hope the owner knows what kind of employees their management is hiring . You lost a customer I’m going to Princess market and deli where they actually make it right when they mess up your food !
Biaz is a complete middle eastern market with great collection of fresh vegetables, spices and more chesse varieties it has the best middle eastern food restaurant too which tastes awesome
Ordered a Lamb Burger few days ago was a small piece in the sandwich and Completely burned and Black , Not Good at all , Don’t recommend it , wish could upload a photo of it
Great place to shop for Middle Eastern type foods, produce, meat...etc. they also have a restaurant inside that serves great food!
It is very good shop but they doesn't open early that's problem
Absolutely my favorite go-to for middle eastern cravings. Drove across the valley for my birthday lunch.
Great organic and fresh food nice people definitely recommend it for everyone
Food taste great and all but the chicken shwarma is not cooked right and there are huge chunks of not cooked chicken
They were really busy today and we were still able to get in and out quickly! They are always kind.
Freindly staff great selection of high quality halal meats.
Place closed at 630 and all their online timing including Google says 630. One of the employee said it's been two months like this. What a bunch of loser and poor business practice
Delicious Butcher in back. Fresh beef, chicken, lamb. Small restaurant inside yummy . Fresh produce. Friendly staff. Assortment of spices, rice is, pickled things. Small frozen food section. Been going here for 3 years. Love it! Recommend
I love going to Baiz. I travel about an hour from my house to get there but it's worth it. I find something new to love any time I go. I definitely suggest trying literally anything from the bakery because you will not be disappointed. Great spot for all of your hookah needs as well.
This is our one-stop clean shop for all our ethnic grocery needs. They have very good selection of cut meats and fresh vegetables and fruits. To top it, there is also a restaurant in-house serving mouth-watering middle-eastern food. Dont miss the dessert section at the restaurant. Staff is also welcoming.
I like Baiz Marker because of the wide selection of Middle Eastern foods. I've noticed that in the past year their prices have become ridiculously high, it does not match the cost increase of other markets or Middle Eastern markets in Los Angeles. Also their bakery leave something to be desired specially around the holidays. That's a shame because Lebanese are some of the best bakers around. For Eid I ordered a tray of kunafe and it was great but it included 1 cup of simple syrup for the whole tray. At first I didn't think anything about because syrup needs to be added to the kunafe when it's hot, so I thought that was extra, I started serving my guests and found out that they never put any syrup on it and of course I didn't have enough..it was quit embarrassing and a downer to a nice holiday dinner.
Great selection of food. I LOVE the bakery and grill.
You can find a lot of middle eastern ingredients here. They also sell fresh meat, fresh produce, & bread.
I love this place, I just wish I knew what a lot of the stuff is - I find fig preserves and pickled beets as close to what I remember as home made - I have tried the hummus and falafel bread here and it was awesome! I do buy a lot of my spices here also - The staff is friendly and helpful, those that speak English - I have a list of things that I purchase here, when I'm in the neighborhood, but I'm also always trying new things that I find there - I got a yellow watermelon there today, not so good, but I'm use to disappointment in Arizona of watermelons - But, that will not deterr me from shopping there for the things I need - Good place to shop - Prices reasonable, staff friendly and helpful, natural foods -
Good market for all my middle eastern needs
Every time I come to Dubai I stay at Raffles Dubai Hotel. It has everything I need, with nice and comforting amenities, comprehensive facilities, central location, shopping and dining varieties just next door to my hotel room. Nothing more convenient like this. Above all is the welcoming smile and charming personality of all staff in the hotel
Meat dept is Amazing with a wide variety of choices and cut to chose choose from. They have a really nice selection of kabob stainless steel skewer in the front of the store.
Not good at the web site The markets close at 8:00 pm When we go to the market we see it closed, why all this lies
I love the store and restaurant!
A place to get good clean and fresh meat.
Good place to fulfill all your grocery needs. Anything you can imagine can be found here. I love this place.
Amazing international style deli market. Prepared food is delicious
Great prices.
Best place to get international foods in Phoenix. Along with good veggies, meat, real cheese still in brine, pita etc... Great place to get tea or rice in bulk.
It was my first time there. The place looked immaculate. The floors were spotless, the produce was stacked with finesse, no shelves were empty, and overall, it was just a peaceful atmosphere - the music was not loud, speaking of which, the music was calming and culturally attached to the store's origin, which made the store all the more authentic, showing to its customers what the Arabian atmosphere and cuisine, is like. I am a fan of nuts, and to see an eight foot section of just nuts, pleased me. I bought so many pumpkin seeds, and nuts - they were all lovely. They also had Russian sunflower seeds; I am Russian and eat this often, so to see it there made me smile.
First of all, this is a one of the few authentic middle eastern stores in Arizona. So thanks for that!!! However, even though They have some very good items, some are very overpriced or past expiration date. I wish I can buy their imported cheeses but for $8-12.00 that is too expensive. The bakery goods that I bought were not also not that fresh. I heard they are shipped from a bakery in Chicago. I normally just buy certain items- the teas, spices and olives. The owners need to get more fresh products like the Arab stores in Cali have.
The fresh vegetables always good and better, the meat is fresh and Halal, busy, a good experience
First they meet they cut over there is not really meet it look like they cut cats and dogs meet is nasty also they place is smell so bad also there restrunt food is so bad and not clean go somewhere els is better then west your money here. Awww
Got a beef scharwma plate to go. It was very tastey.
It was very bad experience. I am not going to shop no more at this store.
Fun middle eastern spot, great selection, good food
Tasty Halal Meat! Cut 1.5" Ribeye Delicious
I love walking in this place because of the smell of herbs and spices and meat cooking in the background. They have a beef spicy hot link that I cannot find anywhere else in the city . And of course it is halal. It is well worth the drive from wherever I am in the city.
The BOOSHT. A real hidden gem. Totally off the beaten path. Most people will be scared to go at night because the neighborhood ain't exactly suburbia, but for those who are a little more adventurous, hit the cafe for some excellent shawarma and top-notch homemade hummus (and wander back to the sweets section while you wait to grab some dreamy pistachio baklawa for later). They also do a bustling lunch service but then parking is hell. Also, pro-tip: they tend to run out of their amazing rice around 7pm. Get there before 7 or you'll miss out.
We have always driven from Casa Grande to this store for the great meat prices. However after driving all the way down there to get meat when we got back home and open up the bag of chicken it was rotten!! My whole kitchen reeked of rotten meat. When i called to put in a complaint the "manager" I talked to acted like it was no big deal! He said he was the closing manager he cant do anything. I will never go back to this store.
Great market. Clean and a friendly staff. Prices are amazing
Awesome Iraqi Sandwich like from the streets of Bagdad. 5 star snack. Try the hummus, it is the real thing. Ask them to heat bread before serving.
Best grocery in Phoenix, great selection of fresh veggies & fruit, stuff you wouldn't find elsewhere (sweet red pepper, saturn peaches), amazing cardamon coffee, best feta cheese, etc. The products are chosen by someone who really cares about quality & diversity of products, a true heaven for food lovers. The restro is also amazing! This place deserves a review.
Great place to shop and eat!
Inside restaurant is great. Great food and great prices, they need to open in WV.
The meat counter is expansive with various cuts of fresh beef, pork, chicken, goat and lamb. They have lamb kidneys and all other parts. They are very friendly and helpful
Good food, good price.
Omg I never see dirty store like baiz market also the owner he don’t respect be careful people the food it’s expire دربالكم يأنس والله حرامية
Not bad
Love this place. Business is run very well they opened anther location in Mesa as well. Very large selection of grocery items and a Restaurant in the store as well with cooked to order food- get the shawarma it's really good.
Fresh produce. Good food. Courtesy service.
Very expensive and very bad meats. Everything is sold for double price. Terrible. They never take a refund. Attention !!!
I’m a truck driver delivered here for the first time and tried the Thyme Pie Loved it I also tried the Spinach Pie wow amazing can wait to go back and try something else
It takes one hour to come and shop i wish you have another store close to me west of phoenix Keep the good service Joe
Great place to shop if you can find parking. Frequently the lot is full. There are great prices on meat, olives, and cheeses. The vegetable selection is not huge, but is fair and they all taste like fruits and vegetables--a nice change from other local super markets.
Baiz is a true Middle Eastern market that offers a wide variety of products. The meat department selections are fresh. The vegetables and fruits department is always well stocked. The bathrooms are always spotless clean. The food at the restaurant always tastes great and it’s made fresh to order.
Normally they are very good, kind and courteous. They sold me some rotten chicken the other day. I didnt find out until I got home.
Luv this food!
Go here to buy lamb ...Best place to get It.....Very nice people .
Fantastic market with a great selection of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern and Indian groceries and fresh produce. I was excited to find such a wide range of halloumi cheese...
Fresh vegetables and delicious cuisine are strongly recommended
My favorite little market with just about everything. Plus, try out their restaurant. Just wish there was one on my end of town. I make the drive from the Cave Creek Rd and 101 area because of the quality of this market.
Good food reasonable prices, good sharing portions. I go to there both locations this one is close to my work and the baseline road one is close to my house.
this is the BEST place in the whole Phoenix! awesome! the quality of the food is really high! the best hummus ever! vegans this is THE PLACE! try the veggie combo .... goes beyond than delicious! :)
Good place for middle eastern food and grocery. They also cater to more of a halal food which entails no pork products. Beef, Goat, chicken at the butcher and fresh vegetables in the back and the prices are very good if compared to other big grocery stores, but you will not get everything there.
Best place for produce, cheese & olives
I have never been here...but i will be back for sure. I love the pots and pans they sell!
Al Hana Cafe inside Baiz Market is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is probably the most authentic in town (not that Pita Jungle wanna-be stuff). I highly recommend either the chicken or beef shawarma sandwich. You can also buy fresh pita bread there with the steam still in the bag as they make their own fresh daily. Most other middle-eastern restaurants order theirs from California. I wish they would open another closer to my house.
A bit pricey but a good ethnic food mart.
A great luncheon middle eastern place. Food is seasoned very well!
