My wife took me here the other day to pick up a lunch plate from the hot food department. I got the fried rice with sesame chicken and the deep fried pork...holy moly i was surprised how good it was. Definitely gonna go back again.

Different yet expensive food outside from their deli. There are some unusual things there I might try next time I visit. This would probably be a good place to take your overseas friends and relatives seeing how it's catered to special demographics. I had a slice of "Graham cake" from there and it was pretty good.

Fresh produce including seasonal goods such as durian. A decent selection of frozen fish and other frozen Asian cuisine. Dry items include standard Asian staples (soy sauce, fish sauce, noodles, halo halo fruits, etc...). The restaurant attached to the market is both delicious and affordable. Both the store and the restaurant have helpful and polite staff.

Some of the veggies being sold at this place is half rotten..they packed the veggies in clear plastic bags so ustomer could not pick veggies that are decent and ok to cook, they can only buy the bag even though it is half rotten....they make profit! but customers dont.get the quality product.

With large portions of Chinese food and very friendly service this ought to be the place to go for your lunch break. There are the Americanized dishes we all crave as our comfort week night snackapalloza but there are some dishes that need to be tasted that are more traditional too.

Great place to find Asian specialty foods, like Korean yam noodles, Taiwanese red bean buns, longyan, good soy sauces, baby bok choy, etc. Love shopping there.

Lots of variety and great prices for Alaska. One of the few places in town to get quality fresh Asian fruits and vegetables. (Including fresh durian!) Anytime we are in Anchorage we stop to do a little shopping and for lunch/dinner at the attached restaurant. The mango shake and Halo Halo is a nice treat too!

Lucky market is a nice little whole in the wall store. I came in for some tea, and the nice cashier let me know right away about their $5 credit card policy. I don't usually need much from a speciality like this, but will definitely return when I do.

One of the shopkeepers called my wife "stupid" in Chinese. Ironically that shopkeeper was too stupid to realize an obviously Chinese girl with an accent spoke Chinese.

My husband and I just saw this place and decided to go check it out and omg! I can't believe how much items they have here and everything you'll need once you go into a grocery store and the price? Its awesome so so cheap for how much you get per bag or box or even their fishes are huge for a really really good price! Their vegetables are fresh too and man the price i just can't stop talking bout it cause I've been to other places and you can't beat their price here. This is my first time to this store and I love it already Imma come shop here from now on! I would recommend this Lucky Market store to anybody trust me you won't be disappointed! I've been here in Alaska for 3 years and no store that i went to carries the kungfu beef noodles that i wanted and this place has it Im so grateful i decided to stop by they've really made my day! Oh i almost forgot if you're shopping here and get hungry just go into the next room they've got a restaurant inside too food is hot and delicious! Try it out once you've shopped here you would always wana come back. I know I will :-)

Best place to buy Asian groceries in Anchorage. Very reasonable prices for groceries and fresh vegetables and frozen food. Particularly, varieties for Chinese groceries are still not enough and kitchen utilities are none.

Usually stop by this store each time I'm in Anchorage. Last visit a week ago was disappointing, didn't have the Filipino breads/pastries I usually stock up on. Hope it's back for the next visit.

Lucky market is probably one of the best Asian grocery markets in Anchorage. They have varieties of frozen food and seafood, fresh vegetables, canned goods, sauces, and ingredients from all over Asia (mostly Southeast Asia). The store recently went through expansion and renovation making this place even more spacious for more products. The store is clean and the workers are very polite and helpful. The kitchen section within the store, which is known as Lucky Kitchen, has selections of Chinese and Filipino foods ready to go and can seat approximately 20 people. The price is fairly cheap compared to the quality and the amount received.

4 stars for the groceries and the staffs are great people, very helpful and polite. The kitchen are great for their prices and the amount of food they put in, I just had to take a star off because I sometimes don't get enough meat and more onions for my Mongolian beef. Other than that, I highly recommend everyone to stop by and buy or eat.

I went there just to get an avocado smoothie and the lady who helped me was a bit rude. The smoothie did not taste like avocado at all, it tasted like sugar, water & food coloring.

I bought food in this store. I found the food was rotten before I left the store. I asked for a return right then and the cashier refused without any excuse. And she even claim that the black rotten stuff inside the fruit is OK. I had to throw them away. Not recommend this store. Not mention they sell so much food passing expiration date.

I don't write many reviews, but I feel compelled to because I want this place to stick around. This place is really great. The portion sizes are big, the food is fresh and the price isn't too high like most places. I like grabbing lunch to go from here. Convenient from my work too.
