Despite being in a shady part of town, I think this is one of the better Carrs stores. I've rarely had a negative experience here and they often have good deals l, especially on Fridays. Normally, even with the discount card, your experience can be pricey if you aren't paying attention and comparing products. I'd still recommend this place, but just watch out for panhandlers and drunkards.

Supermarket it’s pretty good size with variety in big Deli and bakery .... and all your other chain supermarket items.. Walmart cheaper and get more if your getting supplies though .. cause it’s article weather and get everything you need at once

Early morning. 630ish quiet uncrowded fully stalked. Disappointment was no Bavarian creme maple bars. So old fashioned had to do. Lol security real high and obvious but understandable. Talkative checker very helpful while being slightly judgmental. Lol graveyard shift. Peace

The location is really sketchy. A lot of people that are homeless or drug-addicts infest this area right here so be prepared to be begged upon. The store is pretty good itself but just not located in an appropriate area. For some reason it attracts not so wanted company for the store's patrons.

Been going to this one for a long time, but the last time I went there they stopped my cart while I was going through the door and I banged my shin really bad. then some girl with the cart gun jumped out from behind the sodas and unlocked it. she didn’t even apologize for treating me like a criminal. We will never go to this one again. also all the make up is all locked up and it’s hard to find people to help you. My husband and I are taking all of our business to the carrs on debar now.

A woman behind the counter nane Janet at Carr's accused me of stealing . When question about it she said it wasn't this time it was five other times. Unless Carr's has it taped or evidence, It is DEFAMATION . Janet is a liability and should not be working. She is a Carr's employee. When I asked for a manager she refused to get one and said she was going to get paid no matter how she treats me. I insisted she get a manager. A customer got be in line behind me. Normally they would say can u please stop so we can make our purchase. The customer is bad. He was spoiling to see a fight. He is one of those. He started interjecting and jumping in and egging it on. He said some rude Asian slurs. When I talked to the manager, Lisa she told me Janet was A) complaining that I was rude and interrupted her when she Janet she was with a customer. And B) Janet can Refuse service for that reason or any reason. First of all, I asked if she had a wine opener. She was not upset but stopped and tried to sell me a wine opener which I refused bcs the customer in line said he had one in his pocket to open my soda. She then got upset and said I was stealing. Second of all she is not just punching numbers . She is dealing with people and if she doesn't get something she likes, she is in customer service it's part of service. It's not just punching numbers. She could have said I can't talk to u now Mam. Second, there was no service to refuse because I was not looking to buy anything. If there was refusal it better be with reason. I know u don't have to be intellectual behind a counter but u should be reasonable. There are Prejudices. Janet's girlfriend may have had another girl my build so she hates girls my build. Or if she is not gay, her husband may have cheated on her with some one my build. So if you are going to Refuse service, make sure there is a Good reason. A fair one. Otherwise it is a prejudice. Janet was prejudice. She was profiling me that I had a shabby jacket on so I was stealing. She insists it's me and she is not mistaken. So unless Carr's has proof it is defamation. Not a mistake. Janet has alot of hate towards whatever. Let's put that Hate on upon her Loved ones . And see how it fares. Lisa also said she wasn't there so she is not responsible. She owns the place on paper so she is liable. And if she doesn't own Carr's. She is a paid employee and is responsible for the duties her managing position that she accepted requires. Has all your needs, bank, pharmacy that has worked me on co pay, deli with an amazing selection where you can build your own sub your way and fresh and hot foods, bakery, and meat and seafood section, amazing fruit and vegetables section. A customer service on your left immediately upon entering where you can cash checks, rent videos, send Western Union or Carr's to Carr's transfer of money or obtain money orders. They do have a public restroom. And most of all do not forget to stop by their Starbucks which is immediately in your left upon entering. Great customer service. Sometimes there are hiccups sometimes but they are only human as we are. And the service is the same at all Carr's. Don't forget $5.00 Fridays where they have specials in the deli, and other areas of the store. And all Carr's stores donate to the Food banks once or twice a week, really helping to feed the hungry, sometimes that includes me. They also have a great floral selection, with wonderful displays of vases and can make arrangements upon request And the Brown Jug liquor store is in your far right past the fruit and vegetable and floral section. They do their best to keep away loiterers and keep the parking lot and customers and their vehicles or personal property or person safe upon arrival and departure and respond immediately to their best of their ability with the staff they have on hand. I hope everyone has a great visit. If something bad foes happen just try to remember all the good interactions you have had on previous occasions. I went in to cash a WIC voucher and before I got out of the parking lot I had been accused of stealing. Not at this store mind you but at one on the other side of town that I have only been to a couple of times in 25 years. And not only did I steal from them they apparently allowed me to return the merchandise and didn't arrest me! How does that work exactly? I'm 53 years old I'm not a thief and I'm quite offended I have been shopping at this Carr's store for 25 years and I have never had any issues but this is just wrong and I will be seeking council to see what I can do about this.

I like the variety and the prices. The deli and bakery are wonderful. The meats are good. Generally better than Walmart. I just wish the salad bar was setup longer in the evening. I often get off work late and I love a good salad. However, it is closed as early as six pm.
