Excellent quality produce and very reasonable prices on food. Plants can be a little pricey and are not labeled as to what they are or what they need. i.e. sun, shade, perennials, size, soil condition needed, etc. Info is not available.

Travelers, this farmers market is in downtown Opelika and is a nice walk from parking at the train tracks. It is a plus to have a farmers market so close to downtown. Everything is fresh and delicious. Service is great too. The nursery is also a highlight of this farmers market. Check it out. We recommend.

Absolutely love this market. Great selection, not overwhelming, plenty of bag stations. Huge selection of jams, preserves, jellies, peppers, wickles, honey...etc. Also had home made elderberry extract which is nearly impossible to find. Ended up purchasing around $40 worth of vegetables with a trunk full of bags. I compost and replant what we buy here. Tastes so much better than supermarket-grade, and of course better prices. Also has very charming people working here! Stop by! There are also a wide variety of plants to purchase here as well as hand made fruit and vegetable stands, garden decore, etc.
