WARNING - The images on their website don't match what you actually get. The floral arrangement that was bought for a friend was supposed to be mainly flowers according to the website images, and what actually came was mainly filler greens. With the understanding that the images represented on their website would be what is sent - I can totally understand why they'd be upset. If the images on the website are only the "premium" floral arrangement, I'd highly recommend that they update the images on the website so that their customers don't feel "taken" by the amount of money they're spending on floral arrangements and disappointed by not receiving what was expected... It feels like false advertising when you don't get what is pictured...

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! I REPEAT, DO NOT RECOMMEND! Spent over $200 on a flower order to my wife yesterday. What she got looked like $60 in flowers from a grocery store. It was supposed to be delivered by 12:00 pm. I called them at 1:00 pm and was not even put together yet. She got the order 1:40 pm and looked like it was thrown together 10 minutes, not even joking. So my wife sends me pictures of what she got. The hydrangea they were waiting for looked TERRIBLE. I have pics of what I was supposed to get, pics of what I got & closeup pics terrible looking hydrangea. To top it off the delivery guy says we upgraded to a premium which was another $40 in flowers. So what should have been over $200 of pink/white rose packed display was something sent with more green leaves than the color dominant display I ordered. I will send these pictures to ANYONE who requests them. I have sent MANY flower arrangements in my life. Never have I seen such a joke before. IF YOU WANT TO BE DISSATISFIED, ORDER YOUR FLOWERS FROM HERE. Not even one I'm sorry for your inconvenience in both times I expressed dissatisfaction. Cant wait to see the bs response from the owner, but I should have read the reviews 1st. When 25% of your reviews are 1's, you might want to change your business practices! #CUSTOMERSERVICEFAIL (after owners response) As a business trying to save face for their "POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES". Nothing but a fabricated lie in the response. I called & talked to the owner when my order was originally placed. I asked specifically if a delivery can be made by their business to a residence by 12:00 pm. The owner replied YES. At no time during this conversation or any conversation after, did the owner (Laurie) say that we cannot guarantee the delivery time. NOT EVEN ONE TIME. In fact when I called back at 1254 pm (over 4 hours from time of order at 848 am), I even said "IF YOU CANT DELIVER WHEN YOU SAID - then tell that to a customer right away". THE SECOND THING when order was placed, I asked the owner (Laurie) if EVERYTHING was there in the desired arrangement. I asked her again, your sure you have everything. There was alot in the arrangement & was pleasantly surprised they had everything. Turns out when I called to see why the order was not delivered, the person that answered was not the owner. I asked why my order was not delivered yet? The associate proceeded to to tell me the delivery just went out the door. I said why is the delivery just going out the door an hour later than was supposed to? She then proceeded to give the phone to the owner (Laurie). She then began to explain they had to order the hydrangea in, AFTER SHE STATED 4 HOURS EARLIER THEY HAD EVERYTHING. Absolutely REDICULOUS how they accepted my business requests but lied about it. I then said the gal who was just on the phone told me it just went out the door. And now your saying the order has not even been put together yet? I was not happy, I said I didnt know if my wife would still be there yet. The owner then stated she could call her to see if she is there yet. I said this is a surprise & second, I was just told by you 4 hours earlier that you could not call the customer, it was something you dont do. And now you could? The delivery man contacted me at 139 pm stating the order was just delivered & they upgraded it from standard to premium flowers. I said so there are $40 worth MORE of flowers in this order? He stated yes. I was busy with work so didnt contact my wife right away to check that this was the case. It was not until I recieved a text from my wife saying thank you with a picture of the flowers. That is when I noticed this arrangement was NOT EVEN CLOSE to what I paid for. I even went to a Professional Florist, to show them all 3 pictures. When asked what they thought I paid, they responded with $65+/-. When I showed them $170 just for flowers, they responded OMG! This was a actual business? Then respond to 2 reviews from while ago to try again to save face, what a joke this place is. No one ever asked for your personal cell either! PICTURES DONT LIE!

Employee was very rude when I walked in with my daughter. She was short and claimed she was too busy to consult with me. I was very disappointed on how she handled this- she could have been polite and said she was too busy at the moment but was able to set up a future appointment. Will not use or recommend anyone to use their services.

Lauri is an artist, with flowers. Everything is always perfect. They've never let us down, for anything we've asked. High-integrity company. Truly "family owned and operated". They're the only full-service florist in Sussex. They do weddings, large events, and day-to-day arrangements. Have hand-made craft items in the store, as well. Watch out for the fakes calling themselves "Sussex Florist", "Oconomowoc Florist", "Butler Florist", and at least 10 others. They're created by a company "Your Florist LLC" aka "Best Floral". It's obvious because the phone numbers, addresses, web sites all connect. They've also added fakes reviews posted at the end of August 2018.

Be wary of fake profiles and fake reviews. I support multiple business entities on Google (and this is one of them). For example, notice the pair of strangely-worded, one-line complaints that say the store is a "dark church" etc. Those come from people associated with Best Floral. They've been falsifying reviews about other florists, for years, and everybody with a business presence in this area knows about them. You'll see how there are over 100 fake listings, that all go to the same company in Waukesha ... and coincidentally all have positive reviews. Those same people adding fake positive reviews also put fake negative reviews on their competitor's listings. It's very obvious, when you see that one of their locations uses the Waukesha phone number, but the map shows it at somebody's private home in Sussex. A home that has absolutely nothing to do with the Best. This isn't just a guess. Google has actually identified (to us) the small handful of users that have created hundreds of fake accounts, just for the purpose of creating false reviews. Their false business locations are always being removed. Another example is the rash of false reviews in May of 2019. In this case, a young man spent a lot of money on a huge arrangement. Later, he was yelled at by his wife for spending too much (or so it seems). He decided that punishing the business was better than accepting blame for his bad judgment, so recruited all of his "friends" to badmouth the floral shop. Well, now you see all this fake information ... and all from people who have never even spoken with the floral business, not to mention actually participated in a purchase. It's pretty scary to see how some people think that lies are a better way to handle business ... and even more scary to see that they also claim to have a business. Good luck with that.

Flowers were very over priced and did not look like the picture at all that was ordered. The flowers were dead the next day pretty much, and yes they were watered. (After reading response from owner) Again, when you order from a picture, you expect to get what you see. It wasn’t until after I was shown an expected picture and compared to the actual flowers that I was upset. I was thinking this was like a $50-80 arrangement like I usually get but that was not the case. I was happy when I received the flowers but after I was told he paid 170, that’s when I became upset and felt he was “taken”. We do have picture proof if anyone would like for me to share. Pictures of what was on the website and pictures of what was delivered. Please feel free to contact me rachelandreagillen at gmail. Do not pay $170 for 16 roses and some filler flowers, go to pick n save. It is very sad that the owner cannot admit that the picture does not even come close to the delivered flowers. To be fair, we have gotten flowers there before and they were just fine and had given them repeat business about 4 other times. Clearly, this time was different and I truly hope that this is a wake up call to make sure you deliver at least a “close enough” version of the pictures that are advertised. Again, I welcome emails from anyone who would like to see the picture of what was advertised and what was actually delivered. Email me! I am honestly shocked to read the owners responses, just all lies. We know you have handled thousands of orders. When doing that much business you can’t be perfect, but when you screw up, own up to it and offer a FAIR refund.

That’s pretty gutsy to say my cousins wife is the one who altered the flower arrangement. They never would do that. You mislead them by giving them a total different arrangement of flowers instead of the one that is shown. I think you guys are the ones who misunderstood what he wanted and you didn’t think his wife would take a picture of it to thank him. It’s pretty sad that you have the same response to everyone on her as well. A picture is worth a thousand words and the arrangement you altered looked bad.

Unfortunately I cannot leave ZERO stars. If you order online, you expect to receive something similar or even CLOSE to what you order. The flowers my sister received were literally about 1/4 of what the picture shows and they are already wilting. I expect the same response as the others she has replied to. It does NOT matter if her husband was the first or last to order flowers on one of the busiest Holidays of the year. YOU need to be prepared as a business owner. If you run a business you need to be prepared for ALL orders and treat EVERY order the same, from the first to the very last. You can tell by the product itself and by the owners response to the reviews that they were swamped, negligent and just wanted to get the order out of the door. SHAME ON THEM! If you like subpar products then go ahead and order flowers from here.

I’m so disgusted on how a customer spent so much on what he thought was going to be an amazing bouquet of flowers and then finding out when delivered the flowers looked horrible and definetly not like the picture of the flowers he had ordered!!!:(( Horrible customer service... so disappointing. Definitely will not spend my money here for any future purchases....I hope this guy who spent so much for this bouquet that was suppose to be absolutely beautiful ( and wasn’t even close looking at the pictures) gets a complete refund and some sort of apology!!! The owner should be ashamed on how this was all handled:( unbelievable.........

Open since 2003 this business has thrived in the beautiful, former church building located just west of Piggly Wiggly and right across the street from the library. It is a full-service florist - and the only one in Sussex (from 2008-present). Excellent quality of work and service! The owners have recently made great efforts to restore the church building, as well.

Laurie was great to work with from start to finish. Her suggestions worked out very well and we were very happy with the quality of the flowers. Almost a week after the wedding and the flowers (roses and baby's breath) are still gorgeous--and still smell wonderful as well. The girls put their bouquets in vases on the head table and they looked great. Boutonnieres and corsages were beautiful as well. Prices were very reasonable for what we got. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them for a wedding or special event.

The quality and amount of flowers that my sister received were visually subpar, of unacceptable quality and not delivered as promised. The flowers are laughable and I feel sorry for her. Owner of this shop continues to not apologize and refund her for the mistake, but blames the customer for the owners epic failure. I am a business owner of a spa and never would have responded to her clients in the way I see this owner respond to the multiple complaints below. Clients deserve respect and clients deserve a bouquet that looks somewhat similar to the picture shown, not 1/4 of the blooms shown. Buyer, beware!
