I ordered corsages forvour assembly mothers two weekes in advance. They called me last sundsy sying I didn t pick up my corsages. I explained again they are for mother s day andveouldn t keep that long being fresh corsages @$16.00 each. I picked up the corsages today May 10th they looked old and wilted. There were a total of 4 flowers in each 2 roses 2 carnations that s $4.00 a flower. I won t be back.

Received a voicemail that the company was wanting to make a delivery to my house. I called back 10 minutes later to say someone was home for the delivery as I understand they’re not going to leave flowers outside in the frigid temps. They say oh well the truck is already out for delivery and yours isn’t on it, can we deliver tomorrow? I said absolutely what time would they be delivering as I am home until 11 and my husband will be home at 4. “Well we can’t give you an estimate. It’s Valentine’s Day. Don’t you have a neighbor?” Great customer service . I just told them forget it to tell whoever sent them thanks, but forget it.

I came in last minute needing flowers for my graduation cake and of course I wanted tropical flowers in a temperate region...(very difficult in a last minute situation) So working with what she had the woman there did a great job of helping my to achieve my “look” and it looks great! If I could give no stars, I would. The staff was so unempathetic for the reason why I was ordering flowers, my father’s funeral. He passed late on Friday 7/13, this appt took place on Monday 7/16 bc florists are closed on Sunday and we didn’t know the date of his service until late Sat evening. I told the woman, Amy I believe, I was going to make a curtain of flowers for him by hand and needed other pieces to fill the room. I ended up asking for 3 vases, 1 lei, a garland, and a bag of flower petals to spread on my father. They rushed us, saying “we need to get this on a truck NOW”. I said I know and Amy said “honey you don’t know, wait until you start stringing flowers, you are in way over your head.” I have never been so taken aback by someone’s lack of consideration for the situation in my 28 years. She then told me that she had a bride coming in for a consultation booked two months ago and that “we have to speed this up”. Our funeral director told us our desired garland would not work with the casket placement. Realizing that our order was now going to be $220 less, she did an about-face and immediately started to rush us out, subtly telling us that she would not be able to do this. She even went to say when I crossed the garland off the list “but this is what you really wanted”. (Highly unwelcome sales tactics during a funeral consultation). To establish trust, I presume, she told us to shop around (Sunnyside Florists) and then to let her know by 2pm and they would get it done. The frustration peaked when I called them at 12:45pm to pay for the order. Amy was not available and I was told they’d give me a call back. At 1:19pm I get a voicemail, “the truck has already left, we can’t fill your order, sorry”. I called them back immediately, the woman said Amy had already left for the day and there is nothing they can do, even with what they had in stock. At this point the reality set in that I wasted half of the only day I had to coordinate orders for my father’s funeral, being strung along by an unempathetic florist who had no intention of ever accommodating my family as we pushed through our own raw emotions and scrambled to organize a tasteful tribute to my father. This was a massive setback since we’d been working with (and counting on) Strobbes all morning. I ended up buying about 1,000 roses ($320) from the Pick n Saves in the area, and eventually received amazing support from three other florists that not only accommodated our requests, but worked with their wholesalers to arrange after-hours delivery. They made absolutely beautiful arrangements that were created quickly and delivered and set before we arrived. A Summers Garden, Flowers by Joseph, and Floral Creations by Eileen (Racine) should shoot to the top of your list well above Strobbes if you want amazing customer service, sympathy, and above and beyond compassion for our situation and our timeline. While we did not use Petals by Felicia (Racine), she was amazing in her attempt to help and even offered to drive to Milwaukee herself in the morning to pick up the necessary flower stock for what we needed. The hopeful takeaway you will get from this review, and why I took time to write it, is that Strobbes is not a representation of their current online rating. They seem to be a churn-and-burn operation that puts customer service at the bottom of their priority list. Funerals are unexpected and do require custom flower arrangements that do not have the same prep window as a wedding. Strobbes’ website claims to have a large selection of funeral/sympathy floral arrangements, but please know this is not something they are even willing to try to create without advanced notice. They should never be considered as a funeral florist if there is even the slightest need for fast turnaround since the key ingredient, compassion, for their craft is absent entirely from the business. Spend your time and money at any of the other great florists in the area. We, nor any of our friends and family in the area, will ever do business with Strobbes again.

En route to my house, I received call from Strobbe's saying they are unable to locate my home for a flower delivery. I provided the cross street but there was still confusion. She seemed very put out and her response was, "Well can you just pick them up from our shop?" (In more of a matter-of-fact tone.) That in itself seemed odd to me (especially knowing how much folks pay for delivery). When I got to the shop, the girl was instructed to fill the vase with water and then wrap them up for me to take. She filled it till it overflowed and then proceeded to wrap them with a Hefty garbage bag. (Really? How about some nice paper or cellophane like most flower shops?) Will NEVER recommend this shop to anyone based on this experience alone.

I completely agree that this florist is not a representation of their current deceptively high rating. Please read ALL of their reviews before you risk giving them business for an important event. I, like others, would advise avoiding them entirely. It seems Strobbes does an okay job if you order online and they have what you need in stock. They fall apart the moment you need any type of customized order or if you will cause them the slightest inconvenience. As a florist in business in 2018, you should be able to improvise to meet a customer’s needs. At the very least you should have a personable customer service team. We were very disappointed in how they handled our business and the best way to describe the team is “checked out”. They have zero desire to go the extra mile for that “wow” factor. When something goes wrong, they are incapable of accepting fault and they make sure you know you should be happy with whatever they gave you and that they always have something more important going on that takes priority over yourself. Kenosha has so many other great florists. Stick with someone tried and true... look for any of the shops with a 4.8 rating or above. Aiello, Summers Garden, etc. all produce amazing floral arrangements and are extremely easy to work with. I wouldn’t expel energy with the Strobbes team... it’s more probable than not it will end in disappointment.

Disappointed Mother of the Bride. $445.00 & at least 3 of the items fell apart when we put them on. After the wedding I took my corsage in to show her (Amy) what had fallen off. I had a wrist corsage. 1 of the Brides maids flowers were falling to the floor in front of me as she made it to the alter. The Father of grooms bu tonier fell apart upon attaching to his tux. The corsages for the Grandmothers looked like the guys bu tonier's. Amy's comment to me was that she had another local florist help with the order (they have 3 weddings a day) and has never had a complaint. My flowers I wasn't so upset about, but that was only 1 of many issues. I am only looking for a service to do a good job & stand behind it. If I gave excuses to my clients, I know they wouldn't be back or give me referrals. If something is wrong we listen, fix it & or compensate them. I don't feel they cared about my complaint or situation. It was after the fact so what can you do. The flowers were delivered an hour before the service & untouched until the ceremony was to begin. Amy left me an unhappy client & gave me $20.00 back for my corsage & said if I wanted to continue the conversation to come in the back she was busy for a funeral. Again, not business like. She made no attempt to even listen & show some concern.

Still Crazy

I showed up on a moments notice to buy my mother some birthday flowers. The staff was super helpful. I had no idea what I wanted and took their recommendations. I asked to make it hide my face as I wanted to surprise my mom who didn't know I flew into town. The bouquet was stupendous. It was so beautifully arranged. My mom was in tears from the bouquet before she even saw me. Best flower shop EVER. Gained a customer for life.

For my daughters wedding on May 5th. I stopped by the flower shop and brought my own Vases to be decorated for the wedding for our home. I cannot begin to tell you what an absolutely AMAZING job the lady whom I met (the owner) did for us. Everyone at the house was simply stunned by the arrangements and were taken pictures of them . Plus the cost was so much less than anywhere else I checked and the selection and the arrangement of the flower vases were simply exquisite. I was given a hankerchief at my baptism from my grandma to carry on my wedding day and they were able to incorporate it beautifully into my bouquet. The flowers were fresh and delivered to the church in a timely manner. In preparation for deciding on floral arrangements they were very organized and prepared. Would highly highly recommend!

The worst customer service ever. Ordered the flowers for Valentine’s Day and didn’t even receive them. Talked to Emmy and Debbie and they where trying to say they never got the order. After I texted them the receipt all she said was sorry but they had a long day and she just wants to go home. Instead of trying to fix the issue and have someone deliver the flowers she pretty much told me she don’t care
