I was most impressed with how quickly I received a response from Klein's and was able to book floral only a few weeks prior to our event. Thank you for calling the day before to confirm everything with me; that really helped calm wedding nerves. The bouquets and flower girl basket you designed by Darcy were beyond beautiful. When we met I had a general idea of what I wanted and Darcy really knew how to take my few ideas and turn them into a floral vision that was perfect for the look and feel of our wedding. Overall outstanding service, by far the best wedding vendor we worked with!

I was looking for a variety of houseplants. I've never been here before until today. And it will be the absolute last time I go here! The prices are beyond exuberant! Common house plants such as ivy, ferns, pothos etc. I couldn't believe it! $29.99 for a medium size pothos? Are you serious? I just went to Home Depot yesterday and purchased a large and very healthy pothos for $14.99. Like I said I wanted a few different ones and thought to check other greenhouses in the area. But forget it. Little plants in 4in pots were over $10. Not to mention alot of plants looked sick. I'm all about supporting local businesses but this is ridiculous! If you are looking for houseplants I highly suggest to go elsewhere. Even Madison Greenhouse is cheaper.

Went to Klein's for succulents yesterday, they were very unhelpful and overpriced. Customer service was lacking. I won't ever go back there for future purchases. They ruined what should have been a fun experience.

Staff is not very helpful. I had a lot of questions & was looking for certain flowers but nobody was around. I was able to ask one question at checkout but she was rather snippey. I spent a lot of money there & if i go back & have the same customer service experience i will not go back. Thats how you draw customers in & keep them coming back. With that said there flowers are nice, reasonably priced, and there hanging baskets are the best I've ever seen. Service=1 star Product =5 stars

I have had beautiful flower arrangements from Klein's given to me by my husband over the past few years and we will probably continue to purchase them there occasionally. However, we are first time homeowners who know nothing about gardening. We went in there on a weekend morning. It wasn't too busy but the people working there were a bit brusque with me. One lady looked at me like I was an idiot when I asked where the perennials were. I could not find them inside...turns out they were outside, a section as a new customer I was not aware of. I decided to venture back on a Monday over lunch, hoping that the poor customer service my first trip would be better at a less busy time. I couldn't find a single person working the floor so I went to the cashier and asked if anyone could help me. He was polite but said he could not leave. He asked one woman if she could help me and she said no, she needed to water flowers. Because there was no one to help she walked over to me and asked what I needed. As we were talking she started to walk away so I assumed she was walking to show me some flowers that would work for me. Turns out she was just walking to water flowers, as I figured out when halfway across the store she grabbed a hose and walked quickly away from me in the direction we had just come from. I would give Klein's 1 star for customer service and 1 extra star for their floral arrangements, and quality of plants we bought the first time. I would only go here if you don't need any help.

Avery was especially accommodating. I was calling from NJ and so couldn't see what I was buying in celebration of a Madison-based colleague's 20th anniversary at our company. She described all of the flowers in the bouquet and when I didn't love one of them, offered to switch it out with a great alternative type of lily. She spent good time with me and I think my colleague will enjoy the result.

I stumbled upon these reviews five months after the fact and felt morally obligated to help paint what I feel to be a more accurate picture.The customer service seemed just fine, but I was disappointed by the floral arrangement. The flowers were wilting and I could tell this from a distance. I immediately felt bad for the woman at the register for having to present the flowers to me, and then later for myself, who had to present the flowers to someone else. My immediate thought was that the flowers must have all been second hand from a more expensive florist that would no longer use them. I still believe this must be the case. Had I not been under time constraints I would have never accepted the bouquet. I also had asked for longer stems only to receive some really short flowers, but it is always possible that I simply misspoke. Regardless, I'm sticking to two stars.

Terrible customer service. We spent 100 dollars only to have expensive plants die within a couple of weeks. When we took the plants in the owner was arrogant and dismissive and told us “plants die”- I have never seen such horrible customer service in my life! We will never shop here again. So sad, paid the extra money on overpriced plants to support local business. Home Depot here we come!

Our assisted living facility has been doing business with Klein's Floral for years! They never fail us with their beautiful arrangements! They are always timely whenever we need something made in a hurry. During our annual fall festivals they have donated beautiful flowers that everyone enjoys! We will continue to do business with Klein's as they have been wonderful to us! We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Staff was very helpful and nice at first. I told them i want to impress my wife with flower bouquet. But when i asked their florist to make pretty flower bouquet for my wife, they tore up the wrapping paper roughly with thier hand and carelessly put them together with stapler. All of those only took less than a minute to wrap. Why dont they use scissors and clear tape? What made me even more disappointed was that when i asked them why this look so bad, they said how they make is normal in Madison. I lived all over the states and i have never seen anything like this halfhearted looking bouquet. Quality of flowers are not bad but not the best as well. I am now wondering if other flower shops in Madison makes flower bouquet this bad as they claim it to be. I will find out that soon.

I've been going to Klein's for nearly a decade now. All staff I've ever dealt with are very kind and knowledgeable, one even knows me by name now (I'll edit this post with her name when I think of it). The place is quite large, but cozy, comfortable and easy to navigate. The variety is excellent. I love going in for a visit every couple of months to see what new plants and other items they have. Thank you for being here and continuing to put quality and customer service as top priorities!

This is an edit from what used to be a 5* review. I used to love the quality and selection and the prices were reasonable. I wouldn't even mind paying a little extra to support a local business. But their prices are MORE than double what I've seen at other places now. We went here, seen the prices now, and left. Went to Jung's and got 1 different larger, the exact same plant, and 5 smaller plants (3 the same as kleins plant and 2 different) for the same price. None of these were sale prices, all indoor plants. That's not just a little more its embarrassing. The new place is lovely and I'm sure their selection is even better since they have more room. I just can't support a business that takes advantage of people who don't know what a houseplant should cost.

I love this greenhouse. They recently rebuilt and have a much larger facility and that means more plants. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help answer any questions or give ideas if you need them. Since the staff is so good with the plants they're all in great condition; you don't have to look through all the pots to get a good one, they're all good! The winter selection is good for being in Wisconsin (frigid weather) but for optimal selection spring and summer are phenomonal. Also, the staff will pot a plant for you no charge when purchasing both.

I'm pretty sad about what's gone on with this place this week. I've tried to reach them on several occasions after asking for a floral delivery to be moved from my home address to my work address. They were given my cell phone number to call in case the delivery person couldn't easily find my office due to the suite set up we have. Unfortunately, not only did I not get the flowers during the time promised, he or she did not call me when they had a hard time finding me and instead decided to take the delivery to another building. I didn't find out about this until the next day and no one from this store returned my calls to say they'd delivered the flowers elsewhere. I've been trying to contact them to discuss what happened and why things went down the way they did and they WILL NOT return my phone calls (side note: you will NEVER EVER be able to reach any by phone as all calls go right to voicemail). As someone who works for the UW, I was hoping this would be a great experience so that my department could potentially use Klein's to order our flowers for various job appreciation weeks. I'm also a local blogger who would love to have been able to recommend this place. Sadly, this experience has shown me that sticking with Felly's is the way to go. At least they respond to my phone calls and messages!

The greenhouse is beautiful. The selection and variety is outstanding. Checking out is a bit overwhelming and hectic, but that's not really the fault of Klein's. The parking lot is a nightmare but again, there's nothing they can do about pushy and inconsiderate customers.

Stopped in here while in Madison. They were soon to be closing the store for the season so they could remodel, yet the plants that were available were in beautiful shape. Nice selection, too! I would have bought a bunch of plants, but had no place to put them in the car with carseats, kiddos, and our overnight bags taking up so much space. I worked in a greenhouse in western Wisconsin and can really appreciate the effort they took to keep everything healthy and looking beautiful.

They delivered flowers to my sister at work for her birthday. I live in Florida and she is in Madison. It was a last minute idea, but they were able to get them to her the same day, and they even stopped to pick up a little cake at Hy-Vee for her too!! It really helped me to be part of her big day. I love going to this place! It's beautiful in there. The staff are welcoming and warm. I don't mind paying a little bit more because they are the last local nursery in the city. They have a great selection of starter house plants at low prices for the patient among us, and lots of perennials that do well in our region.

I love plants! As a first time shopper here: Unfortunately the prices here are pretty steep and my plant had a serious bug infestation. I bought a beautiful Ficus Elastica. As I do with all new purchases, I quarantined my plant for about two weeks by itself. Yesterday as I was going through my routine plant care, I saw webbing and spider mites. I had checked when I bought the rubber tree, so the infestation must have been small. It totally sucks as the plant was so expensive. And now I’m stuck purchasing solutions for spider mites and doing my best to keep them from getting on my other plants.
