I was 'sent' flowers in March thru Gia Bella's Flowers. Gia Bella's delivered them to the wrong address leaving them outside with no one home with temperatures in the 30's. When owners returned hours later, they texted me & said they thought something had been delivered to their house by mistake & it was still outside. I drove to neighbors to find soggy flowers wrapped in wet plastic. We dried card out over night to read it. After several calls to complain (the business didn't answer the phone several times during business hours) & told they were "Investigating", I received a call back on May 30 from 'Gia Bella's'. I had to ask who I was speaking to. She identified herself as 'Toni'. 'Toni' said she did the delivery herself. She couldn't find my address & decided the address she had must have been a mistake, which it wasn't. Toni decided to leave flowers at another house with no one home with temps in the 30's. There are only 3 houses on my street so she didn't look too hard. I told her to put address into Google Earth. I asked Toni to refund sender the money for the flowers. She offered to refund $15.00 of $47.00 charge. Toni said I ended up with a vase out of it. How absurd. She insisted the flowers were delivered to me by my neighbors. I advised Toni the neighbors sent a text & I had to go pick up a soaking wrapped mess. Toni admitted she thought the delivery address was a mistake. Using Gia Bella's Flowers is a mistake. Again I asked Toni to refund the sender the money. She stated I was offered to be sent new flowers which I wasn't. The employees I complained to said to come pick something out of their store. After dealing with Gia Bella's unprofessionalism, I was not driving to their store. Toni said she didn't need to talk to me anymore & decided to call the sender. The sender is from out of town, felt terrible that I was so upset by something that was to be a surprise, he felt he learned his lesson. The sender tried to call the order in by phone, but no answer. Sender did call Gia Bella's 2 days after their failed delivery to make sure the flowers were delivered. Gia Bella's told sender that they did deliver the flowers. Not only are they unprofessional, they are dishonest. Don't use this business. It leaves me wondering how many other people they've ripped off. Note to Gia Bella's-our phone call was recorded this morning so I have you recorded with all absurdities documented.
5/31/18 response to Gia Bella's comments: The owner of Gia Bella's, Toni Piccolo finally returned my calls May 30. I was told by her employee twice that this was being, "Investigated". Fact. Toni stated she felt the address she was given incorrect. Fact. Toni left flowers at the wrong house, outside, in cold weather. Fact. If Toni Piccolo had a map or used google earth or checked prominent clearly posted fire numbers or addresses on homes, she would have discovered the address she was given was correct. Fact.
Toni Piccolo's business Gia Bella's Flowers accepted an order to provide a floral arrangement & deliver it to a specific address. Fact. Toni admitted she delivered flowers to the wrong house because she felt she was provided the wrong address & was unable to contact the sender. Instead of checking other resources (online map, house addresses, etc...) she guessed, & wrong. Toni was paid for a product & service that she didn't provide.
Toni insisted I was offered a replacement. I advised her this was not correct, she said she was "standing right there" when her employee was talking to me on the phone. Toni, if you knew your employee was talking to me, why didn't you step up to the plate and handle my calls? Your employee stated this needed to be "Investigated". Why would you investigate anything if you agreed to replace them?
Sender unaware of situation because Gia Bella's told him flowers were delivered. Dishonest! I was attempting to deal with it on my end. Anyone thinking about using your business should be warned.
What's sad is your portrayal of being victimized online. It took 2 months for you to call me back.
