Incredibly rude on the phone and demeaning. Would not transfer me to someone who I had spoken with the day before, then gave me a woman who clearly did not want to help me. She balked at my budget and made me feel ignorant for not knowing what I could get for my money. Will never use this florist again.

For all the negative reviews on here, I'm quite surprised. I actually lived right behind Choles for awhile and went there several times to get flowers for my girlfriend (anniversary, just because, etc). All of mine were simple orders, but I was always greeted with good service and a smile. I think some of the ladies are slightly opinionated, but if you go in knowing exactly what you want, they'll wrap it up immediately. I've never had a bad experience with Choles, though their prices are a bit questionable (for fresh flowers and high-end chocolates though, I'm not entirely surprised). Haven't found another flower place as convenient as they are - most things can be done for you in under 10 minutes! The store is somewhat small, but it can't be helped location-wise. Worth it if you ever need flowers - good ones - quickly!

DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS!! I wouldn't give one star if i had an option. I missed a flower delivery and called when i got home. I was told to come pick them up and they closed at 7. I arrived at 635 to a closed store so called the next day. The second i said my name the owner who answered yelled at me for not picking them up. I told her i tried but her store was closed before it should have been. She then said well, you should have been there for delivery then! A nice gentleman then came on the line and made nice, but the damage is done...from the owner.DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS

It's 6:33 PM. They are supposedly open to seven. It is dark and locks. The hours on the door say they're open until seven. No sign. I even called the listed phone number before I walked over here, and the person that answered said they were open until seven. I walked here from the Lake Street location which was unexpectedly closed until June 19,which said on their door that the Regent Street location was open

I visited this store about two or three weeks ago to get a flower arrangement for a lucky lady. It was extremely easy to find first of all, and the appearance of the store was very clean and nice. I was immediately greeted by an extremely nice, helpful employee. She had shown me the arrangements that they had pre-made but nothing fit the colors that I was looking for (purple and green). The women took the two colors and my budget and came back 15 minutes later with a wonderful arrangement for under $40. The flowers lasted a very long time, and had very vibrant colors, and most importantly the recipient was very thrilled to have them. Thank you very much for the wonderful service you provided to me. Good service and quality are the two things that will make me keep coming back for all my flower needs.

The birthday bouquet I received from Chile’s looked wilted when I received it and was spent after 3 days. The roses didn’t open, the sunflowers turned to mush....a Trader Joe’s bouquet would be so much better!

Never ordering from here again. I ordered for my sister who was in the hospital. Surprise she got discharged earlier than I thought she would. I called to inquire about when the delivery would go out and the woman on the phone said "well it's only 10 o'clock". If I ordered them online yesterday they should be done and ready to be delivered down the street to St. Mary's by 10am. Terrible service. Then I call to tell them that she is leaving the hospital and give them her home address to deliver there and the flowers never showed up at her house either. No call to her or me. Again terrible customer service. Never again!

Choles delivered earlier than expected, and the flower recipient was absolutely thrilled over her delivery. Majority of the flowers were still closed, which made for another surprise the next morning. The man that answered the phone answered my questions and seemed polite enough. I will use Choles again.

If you're going to post your hours of operation on your website, then you should adhere to them. Stopped to order some flowers for my wife's birthday on Sunday ( open 9 to noon, supposedly ) AND BOTH LOCATIONS WERE CLOSED. Bad business. FAIL. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN.

I dropped the ball & completely forgot to order flowers for a funeral of a close friend of my children. I needed flowers delivered the next day by 10 am, I called Choles 20 minutes before they were to close and spoke to a young woman (I believe her name was Breann). I was very specific on what I wanted for the arrangement. She put me on hold for a very short moment, got back on the phone & said absolutely they could have the arrangement ready & delivered to the church the very next morning. Thank you so much Choles for your professional and going above & beyond for your customer. I dropped the ball & you fixed the situation for me perfectly! Ps-The arrangement was absolutely beautiful!

Poor phone customer. Politely asked to confirm my internet order, a lady named melissa was either plain cranky, having a bad day at 0900 in morning or the company allows her to treat customers rudely. After she said "I am asking you this question!!" All I wanted was confirmation of order. "Who are you?!" Said my first name. "Is that your last name?!" Again no waver of rudeness she just kept going. Will not order from choles again. Will tell others the same. Flower bouquet is horrific....embarrassed to give to my loved one. Pics posted.

Failed to deliver flowers. We ordered flowers Saturday afternoon through Cress Funeral Home website for a funeral to be held in Stoughton on Monday at 11:00 am for a family member. The flowers were never delivered. The woman I spoke to at Choles expressed no apology, said we ordered too late (i.e. our fault) and besides they don't deliver to Stoughton unless they have multiple orders. After offering her excuses she finally got around to saying she would refund our money. Very poor customer service.

HORRIBLE customer service. I called to inquire about a flower delivery and simply asked the older woman on the phone if they had the delivery at their store on Regent st. The response she had to my question was very abrupt and rude. She told me that they "probably" don't have it because "you people get your flowers somewhere else now." She then continued to rudely tell me that she doesn't like the employees at our front desk. She placed me on hold without saying anything and a nicer gentleman picked up to tell me that they didn't have an order for us. I will never order anything from here, I would suggest going elsewhere. Just a tip: George's Flowers on Park St has GREAT customer service and a beautiful selection, I would suggest going to them instead.

I was recently at a spring wedding that had the most beautiful flowers done by Choles Floral. All of the bouquets were filled with bright, fresh flowers that really made the dresses pop. The centerpieces and other floral decorations really added to the atmosphere of the reception and tied everything together. After talking with the bride, she raved about how great her experience was working with the wedding coordinator and other staff members at Choles. I would highly recommend this business for any wedding or other event!

My daughter wanted to have flowers delivered to my place of work for my birthday...she doesn't live in Madison so she called and ordered a beautiful bouquet in a square vase. She told the floral shop that the flowers needed to be delivered Saturday before 3:00 as the plasma center I work at closed at 3:00. At around 2:30 my daughter texted to see if I got my surprise; I said what surprise? She called and spoke to "John" who had attitude with her the actually hung up on her!!! She called back and he said they would try to deliver the flowers so I had to wait at our now locked front door for 15 minutes; when John finally showed he was talking on his phone and didn't say a word to me... really horrible customer service. DON'T ORDER FLOWERS FOR DELIVERY FROM THIS SHOP...unless you really don't care if your loved one gets the flowers or not. Seriously disgusting service. Elite Yelper will be giving my review in greater detail on YELP tonight... John...you suck

The flowers were pretty and the free same-day delivery to the Madison area is nice. However, their customer service is severely lacking, and if you're in the flower business, there is no excuse to be anything but excellent at customer service. The woman who answers the phone is quite rude - I've read other reviews saying the same thing. A good business needs a really pleasant, welcoming person to answer the phone (assuming you want to make a good first impression for your customers) - But that is not a priority here. Also, the delivery person called the recipient directly when she didn't answer the door the first time (which is understandable), but the recipient found that the delivery people were annoyed with HER for not answering the door. It's one thing to call the recipient to make sure that the flowers are delivered correctly and that they are home, but it's another to be annoyed with them on the phone! It wouldn't have been hard for the delivery person to be friendly while telling the recipient he had flowers for her. It was her birthday, and feeling like a company is blaming her for not knowing about her surprise isn't exactly what she wanted to deal with today. I called the business back to talk to them about this concern and was answered very shortly and then hung up on before I could ask another question. The employees here really do not prioritize customer service. I would recommend paying a little extra for delivery at another company to make sure that your recipient receives friendly service on their special day.
