I called the Saturday before Labor Day for a delivery of a Peace Lily for someone special who had a luncheon for the family after a funeral. Minnich's was supposed to deliver the plant the following Tuesday. I called on Wednesday to see if it has been delivered. The answer was, "He wasn't able to deliver yesterday. He should be able to deliver it today." I called Thursday and she said, "He took it home with him. He will deliver it tomorrow." I called Friday and she said, "It's sitting in the window." I said, "You said he took it home yesterday to deliver it today.." She said, "He did, but he brought it back." I said, "Does it still look good? Is it healthy?" She said, "Oh yes, it's been watered. It has lots of blooms." I told her that if it wasn't delivered today, I would have to cancel the order. She said, "I understand" and just hung up. She called a few hours later and said it had been delivered. It's a good thing I didn't order it for the funeral because my brother-in-law would have probably been in the ground a week before it was delivered to the funeral home. I would have given them a 1, but my sister-in-law sent me a picture of the plant when she got it and it looked okay.
