My husband has been getting my flowers from Cugini since I can't remember so probably many many years, all have been more beautiful than the last, superior quality, but this last mothers day when my flowers were delivered I was less than pleased with them, although I would never tell my husband I was somewhat disappointed in them. The arrangment was mediocre, looked like something he could have order off the internet, small even though it was over $80, and some of the small roses used in the arrangement where turning brown. I was surprised because Cugini has always done unique arrangments that's what has made me a huge fan for all these years. The mothers day arrangement was boring, very ordinary and too expensive. What has happen to the Cugini of the past???

I needed flowers in a hurry, so I went in. What a big and beautiful flower shop, and the staff is the best. So very helpful and understanding of what I needed. I even got advice on transporting my arrangement in my car. Above and beyond customer service and the freshest of flowers. I will be going back for all my floral needs.

I came here set to get a custom bouquet for my wife's 1st day back to teaching 5th grade. I was attended quickly and the person who helped me iron out the details of the bouquet was very helpful and understanding of what I was asking for. 2 hrs later I came back to pick up the custom bouquet and it turned out beautifully but noticed that something was off. I realized that one of the type of flowers I had asked for wasn't in the bouquet. They kindly took it back and added them in and it seriously made the world of difference, in my eyes, as to what my wife would love to see.

I've never really been tempted to write a review ... until now. They really care about delivering service (literally and figuratively). Responsiveness and follow up was really wonderful. My day was frantic and they made sure I could rest knowing my order would be out and better than what i had originally sought. 'm currently prototyping bouquets and flower arrangements as I'm doing my own floral for my upcoming wedding. That said, I need a place with reliably fresh flowers that won't break the bank. I did my first set of prototypes (yielded 3 bouquets) using about $30 of flowers (sunflowers, hydrangea, baby's breath, hypericum) from the local Safeway. All of them lived over a week, if not 2 weeks.

They were open on one of the coldest snowiest days of the year, which is huge. They had a nice selection of gifts and potted plants. Someone greeted me immediately when i walked in and did her best to help me. Unfortunately she didn't know much about the potted plants, which I found strange for a plant-based business. They did a lovely job of packaging my purchase, with a big bow, protective tissue, and stable box so it wouldn't fall over in the car. I would recommend this shop.

Since they are in Washington state and I am in Atlanta, I picked Cugini because of their close location to the Renton Wal-Mart, but I am ever so glad that I did. They had friendly, knowledgeable staff that were able to help me customize a "standard" arrangement to a different color, took my order over the phone, and promised that it would be ready by the time I needed to come by to pick it up on a very tightly-scheduled trip. When I arrived, their parking situation was spectacular, there was no wait, and the arrangement was exactly what I expected, for a great price that I could afford. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Cugini has been in Renton forever, and they stick around because they simply are a great florist. The arrangements are beautiful, and prices are reasonable. They have lots of nice gifts as well, and two cats that watch over the place. It's easy to find on 3rd Ave, and really convenient. I'll keep using them for all those special occasions.

I'm sad to have to write such a bad review for such a great shop, but it's been a long time coming. I've been stopping in here and there at Cugini for years. I first discovered them with my mom during prom season my senior year of high school. They did my corsage and my date's boutonniere. Since then, if I've ever needed floral services or wanted a small random gift (cuz they have a lot!) I've come here. There's been three times in the last four months or so that I've come in. Once to pick up some flowers just because, once to grab a gift for a friend's birthday, and once just to look around after stopping at the farmer's market. Let me say this - the florists here are so welcoming and always do such a good job. I've never seen something that looked wilted or wasn't clearly a thought through design. There's also on older man I've seen around the store that I think is the manager, and he's always quiet but nice. This isn't on them. There's an older woman who I think is named Shannon or Sharon... One of the florists called out to her but I'm not sure I caught her name correctly. Anyways, I think she MIGHT be the owner? And that's a god damn disgrace. Every time I've been in here recently, I've seen this woman just absolutely berating and belittling her employees. Never have I ONCE in ANY store/restaurant/business I've been to see this sort of disrespect projected onto an employee. She snaps at them, rolls her eyes at them, huffs and puffs at them... There's even one time I heard her mumble about one of them being stupid. For someone to be a business owner, and in a leadership position at that, I can't believe the things I've seen and heard come from her. It's not hard to see that she's an older woman, so I get it, she's probably tired from working or something, but that is not a justifiable excuse. It's time to retire or learn how to treat your employees with respect. Just because they are your employees doesn't mean you deserve the right to treat them the way you do. I myself have been and AM in a leadership position in my career and I can't imagine doing the things she does. It's just embarrassing and looks really immature. She clearly is not fit to run ANY sort of business let alone be in charge of employees. The level of disrespect I've seen projected onto her employees FROM her is astounding. It makes me wonder what she does when nobody is in the store. From my eyes, aside from those (really terrible) instances, the florists really do seem to enjoy what they do. If I had that kind of eye for that kind of work, I'd love to give it a try, but honestly... It'd look like something a 5 year old threw together. However, their job and career is just that... A JOB AND CAREER. The amount of disrespect they are shown by the owner is not worth any job, in my opinion. Shannon/Sharon/whatever your name is... Hope you see this. And I really hope you turn a new leaf, because your REALLY TALENTED FLORISTS WHO MAKE YOUR BUSINESS WHAT IT IS, deserve that, at least. I'll continue to keep supporting Cugini because I love to shop local, but I'm not sure how much longer I can watch that woman be the way she is without saying something myself offline and in real life.

I just ordered flowers a day before my girlfriends birthday, to have them delivered to her next morning. They were beautiful. I asked for them to be delivered by 10, and though the lady that helped me said she generally can't give better than an approximate time of noon, she put a note to deliver it close to 10 as possible and they got to her at 9:30. The service was incredible, ordering was easy, friendly, and though the price was a little bit higher than usual from where I used to order from (FTD), the quality is worth it and I am much more pleased with my order. The dozen and a half mixed red and pink roses were all top quality and set beautifully. Cugini will now be my go-to place for ordering flowers. Great job Cugini, and thank you so much for helping me make my girlfriends birthday extra special.

Hometown feel with personal touches but with surprizingly huge variety of not just flowers but FUN home decor and Christmas is beautiful in this store! Customer service, especially Robin, went beyond my dreams in making smaller wrist corsage for my daughter's first art exhibit. We love our Renton gem of a store!!

We were so happy to find a florist near the church where our dear friend was being buried. We looked online at the arrangements. We selected one in the $75 range....full of large and small white carnations and white lilies....we requested pink lilies be replaced for the white to give some color. While the florist was very accommodating on the phone and pleasant; we were a "bit" disappointed when we arrived at the funeral. The greens and pink lilies were gorgeous but there were less than half of the white carnations in the actual arrangement vs. the picture shown on their website. It was heartbreaking on an already sad day but their wasn't much we could do. Oh, well....live and learn.

Well it is my 25th anniversary and I was so excited to send my wife flowers. Looking on line found this place having 5 stars map quest and arrived. Greeted at first and was helped finding a arrangement. My wife 10 minutes away in south park they said by 5pm no problem. Got a call over hour later saying they made a mistake it was out of there area after I had paid and left. I Was so upset after returning dissapointed to get my card i had bought and a refund.Talked to the owner who was distant and unresponsive in this matter. Basically he could care less, I think it's time for him to step down and find something that may better suit him. Very poor business practice that's why I'm verbalizing my opinion to warn others about this owners crappy business

We are new to Renton and found this beautiful shop while just out for a walk. The store is much more than cut flowers, they also have a lot of gift items for the hard to gift for, along with a number of potted indoor plants. What they lack is customer service. The first person to greet us was indeed quite rude towards us, like we were an interuption; we almost walked out, instead choosing to browse. Next, was a woman to busy on the phone to answer qustions from face to face paying custoners. When we did make a $30 plant purchase, the cashier knew nothing about plants, not even just how to water it and just made jokes about her ignorance of their inventory.
