They went out of there way to make sure they were delivered today. My mother was very pleased with the arrangement she said the lady who delivered them was very nice. I'm not local, so I picked this place to order Mother's Day flowers purely based on reviews. I'm so happy I did! I ordered the "florist's choice" bouquet, and it turned out beautiful. I akso appreciated that they called me to see if it was OK to call the recipent (my mom) if she wasn't at home, as the weather was going to be very hot and they didn't want the flowers to die. I will definitely used them again in the future!

Our family needed flowers for my father’s memorial service. My aunt first called the owner Joel from out of state, and gave him a budget and some ideas. I followed up here in Vancouver with several phone calls and a visit to the shop. Each time Joel was friendly, professional and helpful, offering suggestions to customize the design. The finished arrangement was appropriate for a modern church and an informal reception, and was delivered on time in a narrow window. We wanted something that was masculine and natural for a fly fisherman and fly tier. Joel chose a gorgeous autumn color palette, textured greenery, and even incorporated my dad’s ball cap, popping bugs and fly rod. All our family and guests were impressed with this one of a kind creation. Best of all, Dad would have loved how the arrangement reflected his big, colorful personality and special possessions. Awesome Flowers is more than just a quality, locally-owned small business—they are talented and creative artisans. I can’t thank or recommend them highly enough!

This shop was amazing. The prices were unbelievable :) The service was amazing. It only took about 15 minutes to pick the flowers and set up everything with the florist. I only spent a third of my flower budget!!! Also, on the day of the wedding, they had the wrong address, but kept driving for an hour until they could get a hold of me and still delivered the flowers. I am so thankful for everything. Was in a rush to get a nice gift basket for a friend, and Awesome Flowers was the first place that popped up on google. I'm glad it did because the experience was excellent. I had the unlucky fact I came in after Valentine's day, and was certain that all the better flowers would be out of stock. But Joel was able to put together an excellent set, with chocolates, and other nice additions for a very good price. This place has the personability you want from an independent store, and the professionalism you prefer from a bigger chain. Highly recommend to anyone for whatever your arrangement needs are.

Some friends bought me flowers recently. They were pretty but started getting slimy after only a couple days. Even with refilling and changing water and picking off the nasty bits, they still didn't last very long at all. Staff here seems friendly enough, but I've bought Fred Meyer's flowers before and even they last longer and had better presentation. Maybe this was just a bad batch but I still don't plan on going back.

I live in the Olympia area...and last minute I called Awesome Flowers to see if I could get an arrangement delivered to my grandmother for her birthday. I can't say enough great things about Awesome Flowers! My husband and other family members have had floral arrangements delivered to me by Awesome Flowers on several occasions and they have all been gorgeous and very fresh. I have also purchased flowers and gifts from them for others and each time I have gone into the store I have found the owner and his staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. It's hard to put into words, but what sets them apart from other florists is their thoughtfulness and attention to detail in creating a special arrangement especially for your loved one based on what you tell them...even on busy days like Valentines' Day. I even saw the owner remake an arrangement that didn't meet with the recipient's satisfaction - not because he did anything wrong, but because the sender was on a budget. The owner wanted the recipient to be happy and wanted to make the sender look good, so he accepted full responsibility and apologized, saying the wrong arrangement had been delivered by mistake. He then made a new (apparently more impressive) arrangement and redelivered it...all at his own expense on what was a very busy day. What impressed me is that he never mentioned anything to the sender. I have always believed that doing the right thing when no one is watching speaks volumes about a person. That's why we will continue to order all of our flowers from Awesome Flowers...because they are truly AWESOME!

I tried to order a bouquet for my wife as a small thank you, to be delivered to her at work the day AFTER she'd be taking care of me following major dental surgery. They somehow delivered it to her on the day I ordered it, A WHOLE DAY EARLY!! She hadn't even been home yet to see me following the surgery. Surprise ruined! How hard is it to follow the "deliver on" date? The owner said he’d refund my $ and was apologetic but frankly, no amount of apologizing can make up for this bad an error. This major a screw up is emblematic of mismanagement, and a dysfunctional, disorganized company. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!

I have used this florist about 5 times in the last year, and I can’t say enough positive about this local business. I have stopped in most times to buy something pre-made in the cooler and my wife has swooned at how pretty they are. I am pleased because I never feel like I paid more than I should have or expected to. So Valentines Day comes this year, and I call Joel about getting some flowers delivered. I’ll admit that didn’t call him until the day before. We talked for a few minutes about what I wanted to spend, what my wife is allergic to and her favorite colors. Later that day, my wife received a bouquet flowers that she complimented three times. Her receptionist said, “I hate your husband.” Long story short, I wish every business that I have to deal with treated as well and made me feel my business was that important to them.

The visual ambiance when you walk in is unique and different. It took a second for me to realize that I'm not in a cookie-cutter florist shop. Every single vase or arrangement has character which adds to the various options available. I chose a light bulb vase and they worked their magic. Hands down, the best florist shop in the Vancouver area. Worth the visit just to see what new piece of artwork they've brought in.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The words I used when I seen them and the same words that were texted to me by the recipient . I'm in Lenexa, KS and needed to send an arrangement to a family in Vancouver. I normally try to work with the florist directly vs. going through FTD. I contacted a local florist and we discussed what I was looking for based of the pictures on their website. When she sent me the first picture I requested additional flowers be added. Then she sent me the second photo which wasn't any better. To say the least I wasn't pleased with it at all, but she called and was rushing me so she could get it out for delivery. It stayed on my mind all evening so the next morning I researched for another local florist and came across Awesome Flowers. I read some of the reviews which were all positive so thought I would give them a try. I called a few times and finally was able to reach Joel. He informed me it was 7AM his time (I'm sorry Joel) and he was at the flower market but would call me when he got to the shop. He called back as promised and I shared with him what happened (even the pictures of the first one). All he asked me was my price range and he took it from there. When he sent me the picture that afternoon (my time) I was OMG this are absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were exactly what I would want a family to receive when they are grieving a loss. I didn't tell him what flowers to use, what design I wanted or anything. He basically did what he is a expert in and that is made an absolutely beautiful floral arrangement. And not only was it beautiful it is the quality and the depth of the color and how it was masterfully arranged. I told him I wish he was here locally (KS) and I would use him for my floral needs. I even sent the picture to several of the associates in the office and they to expressed the beauty and quality of his work. So Vancouver, I would say if you need an arrangement for any occasion then Awesome Flowers is the place to go.

i stop shopping for flowers anywhere else after discovering Awesome Flowers. Shop carries tons of exotic flowers that other stores has to specially order for you. Prices are lower than any other stores. You can find or order the arrangements that are very unique and impress even pickiest person. One time, exotic flower in bouquet did last long and i mentioned about that when was ordering on other occasion- owner gave my order free of charge and made it fabulous. i usually do not write review, but this place truly deserves 10 stars. I ordered flowers here for our wedding anniversary to be delivered to my wife's work. The bouquet was above and beyond what I expected. The delivery was prompt. The flowers are nine days old now and almost as beautiful as when they were delivered. For our entire married life (28 years) my wife has always warned me not to "waste money" on flowers because they just die in a few days and she is the super practical type.
