I bought flowers from them for our 2 year aniversary. I decided on Arlene's because they are locally owned. First, I gave them a maximum dollar amount of $50, I just received my credit card statement and they charhed me $65. If it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't bother writing this review. The pot the flowers came in was a cheap thin plastic one. My kid gets better quality cups from Dutch Brothers. I have ordered plenty of flowers in the past and have never been given such a cheap peice of crap. To top things off the flowers barely lasted 2 days, taking proper care of them. One last thing, when I gave them my order I spelled my name out to them over 3 times and when my girl received the flowers they completely butchered my name, its only 3 letters long, guess she wont be keeping that one...

Been buying flowers here since way back when $3 could buy youa huge bes bag of candy. My first purchase was on mother's day and I had $3 in my hand and was headed to the store for as much candy as I could get. But when I walked by the flower store I decided to get mom flowers instead. I remember asking what could I get for my $3 and walking out with a huge bouquet. And They were carnations which was mom's favorite so that was a bonus.

Very Poor, :( bought FTD flowers and Arlene's Flowers in Richland called us to pick them up, they said that they did not deliver this far our of town. ( FTD pays them to deliver them to us by any means, UPS, USPS, Fex. they did not. ) I hope FTD will not use this one again :( Drive an extra 40 miles on this one. I have a Gold member ship at FTD and paid in full for delivery every time. talked to FTD as well they said Arliene's was supposed to deliver.

Fantastic! My Papa is in the hospital for Christmas. They delivered a beautiful set of white & red flowers with a big bow & pincones to the hospital on Christmas Eve. My Grandma & Papa love them. He is getting better. Arlene's does not deserve the 1 star reviews. I read a good majority of them & people are rueful the shop is at liberty to refuse service. It is the shops freedom to do so & should be respected. Thank you Arlene's for brightening my Grandma & Papa's Christmas in the hospital.

I asked for pinks and whites and the woman that helped me was very kind and patient and let me peruse their selection of flowers. I came back and was absolutely stunned at the arrangement made! I was creating bouquets for a wedding that started in a few hours and there were not enough flowers ordered for the bouquet. I ran over to Arlene’s and Baronelle had me come into the back and I picked out some gorgeous sunflowers, peonies, and some fillers from her flower arranging room. The price was good, the flowers were perfect, and it was nice that I was able to buy just a few pieces instead of an entire arrangement. The bouquet turned out beautifully.

I order flowers for my mom from Arlene's since this store is local to my mom. She has loved every floral arrangement. The online ordering is very easy to use and I have called in with questions a time or two. The staff was very helpful when I called. I suspect some of the negative reviews are from people who are offended by the owner's stance more than any actual bad service received.

They did a wedding for the daughter of a good friend in January. We were happy with the service. Now, with another daughter of the same family, while the daughter's parents are out of the country for 2 years, we are arranging the details of a second wedding. After contacting Arlene's to do this one as well, they said they would contact us back for details. A week passed, again, they would contact us back. Today, 3 weeks later, we again followed up since the wedding is in May, and they announced they would be unable to do our wedding because it was too close to Mother's Day and they were too busy. Would have been helpful to know that almost a month ago. I would say, buyer beware of possible surprises.

The arrangement looked exactly like as I asked and my wife was happy which in turn I am very happy LOL. We stopped here because we happened to be stuck with a flat tire while at a neighboring subway shop. My son had just played in a tournament. He had long hair and was wearing his soccer uniform. The woman behind the counter kept asking if he was a girl and called him “miss” “can I help you miss”. My son replied that he was a boy and she said, “well then you should cut your hair.” Living in Seattle, we have never encountered this type of attitude, and authoritarian type “customer service”. I forgot all about this event until yesterday. Now it all makes sense. Posting this as a warning to those with young pre-teen kids who don’t want them to be harassed.

I will convince no one, but that's never stopped me yet from saying my piece and by the gods, l'll say my piece now and then some. No one has a constitutional right to hold a business owner hostage. The fifth anniversary of my son's death is approaching. I will be choosing Arlene's Flowers - not merely because I used their services many years ago and found them reliable, affordable and of a high quality... but because, in addition, I can think of no better place to handle such an emotional arrangement. Freedom of association, people. Who do YOU want to be forced to deal with at gunpoint? I don't even like to deal with my blood relations, and you people want enforced contact with strangers who have Deep Feelings about your private issues? Leave people alone. Find someone else. You put all your stuff up there and the girl says she cannot check out your ham and bacon because of her religion. Ordered three bouquets from this business in the past and the flowers were fantastic. I am also proud of the owner for standing up for freedom of religion. To clarify, it is discrimination to not serve someone because they are gay, however it is not discrimination if the gay customer demands the business to offer service to a sacramental function that is against that business owner's religious views. Understanding, tolerance, and acceptance should go both ways in this country.

This is usually my go to place for flowers, I have to say I was very disappointed on my last flower order. We placed a order for prom and when we got the wrist corsage and single flower to pin on my sons jacket it was very small and not nicely arranged at all. Plus the single flower did not have a pin with it to place on his jacket. They unfortunately did not open and check so he could not even wear it. Very disappointed. Paid 50+ and and the wrist corsage had 3 tony flowers that were already browning on the edges, and 1 single rose. That seems like a bit much for what we received.

But to tell her she is now a criminal, and can lose her business and home because of her religious beliefs is ludicrous! What is happening to this country? Okay gays can get married now and oh by the way every human in this country HAS to support it despite your religious beliefs or anything else for that matter. Maybe everyone should be asking, "Whats next?"

Arlene's Flowers did a great job with my daughter's wedding. To all the people proclaiming that Arlene's Flowers is "homophobic" , would this be a case of "discrimination" if I went in asking for flowers for my daughter's First Communion and the owner told me that she doesn't provide for Catholic services because the teaching of the Catholic religion is against her belief? NO! You'd be saying she's "exercising her right" to run her business. Same with polygamist marriage. Did you know there's no identifiable gene for homosexuality? There is for Down Syndrome (a group of people that you HATE and understand little about) but not for gays.
