Skakeela Doskas is the florist to ask for at the Virginia florist. She is courteous and very professional. Her attention to details are amazing. I would say the Virginia florist is extremely lucky to have her. If you are planning your wedding, bridal shower, prom, baby shower, or any major events, please ask for shakeela. You will not be disappointed once you meet her. She will take your ideas and bring it to life. She's great at what she does.

The woman behind the counter was very nice and helpful although I cannot say the same about trying to talk to the owner. He was fast and not very likable. It seemed as if I was irritating him (Mr.Green). If it was not for the flowers he would not survive as a merchant in my opinion I would take my money else where in the future. I give the 1 star because of the counter person.

This is an absolutely beautiful shop with clever and fresh designs. They of course do flowers, but they also have a wide range of home and personal items that make excellent gifts for men or women, and a heart warming children's selection as well. On the expensive side. Perfect for getting a gift for a society maven, or longtime resident of DC.
