BEWARE - While my flowers were absolutely gorgeous, 3 days after giving them my credit card info over the phone (for a funeral of an Airman I worked with), my card was used 13 times within the surrounding area of the flower shop. A shame....

We live in Maryland but my parents live in Chesapeake, over the years when we can't make it for a special occasion, we usually send flowers. After being disappointed year after year by the large flower delivery companies, we decided to find a local company. We're sooo glad we did! The Flower Lady is the best, hands down! I just ordered flowers yesterday around 12noon and my mother had them in her hands before 2pm! And as usual they are gorgeous! I wish we had the Flower Lady up here in Maryland! Ordered flowers online to be delivered on a specific day as a surprise for a specific occasion and they delivered them a day earlier in which the recipient wasn't even working that day and this shop called her and told her that they delivered the flowers on the wrong day... why they called her and not the person that paid for the flowers I don't know... will not be using this shop again.

Last year for my son's Ring Dance I ordered the corsage and boutinnere from some flowershop online. The order was filled by a local flower shop but it was a DISASTER! I desperately ran into the Flower Lady's shop and they fixed it in minutes! It was so elegant and beautiful! (See picture) He and his girlfriend received so many compliments! I've used The Flower Lady numerous times and always had outstanding personal service. I'll never call another 1-800 number to order flowers again!

I am stuck across the country and have had bad luck sending flowers in the past. For a while I thought the only good florist was over here in DFW. I was wrong completely. I think this was the best arranged, most beautiful set of flowers I have ever bought for valentines day. It's normally tough buying over the phone for me. Flowers are so visual and phones are by definition not. The arrangement was so incredible that I am considering adjusting past opinions of other florists I have bought from.

I walked in and I could smell the fresh flowers. She even pulled a few of the flowers she had on hand to show me what my centerpieces would look like. BE AWARE, Sara Custer, My assistant and I remember her well. She needed a very specific tribute made for her friend, a fellow Airman, that required us to get Chop Sticks and Sunflowers, which is unusual but we understood and we were very sorry for loss and wanted this to be very special for her. As my assistant recalls, she had trouble running her CC information thru our encrypted CC machine-- After several attempts of invalid numbers and Declined Cards, she finally found one that was authorized.
