When I addressed this with the owner expressing my disappointment she was unwilling to provide ANY compensation. Her true colors as an unprofessional business owner showed when she hung up on me not once but twice. As a fellow floral business owner I reccomend all persons NOT DEAL with this shop.

Absolutely phenomenal service and quality oh and pricing, called @ 8 a.m. on Valentine's day and unlike my formerly GO TO florist they not only COULD AND WOULD deliver but again pricing, quality and service were over the top. in full disclosure i called my first go to and they couldn't, called a second that i have found to be not as good as the first and they couldn't called another and they not only couldn't you'd have thought i asked them to hang the moon...James took my call, made suggestions for my order and helped me VERY quickly and again provided extra value. They have earned a customer going forward and you should give them a chance to blow you away as well.

The WORST florist ever! I went there for my wedding flowers. Quality is so awful - flowers are old and dull. Plus messed up the order completely and refused to change it. DO NOT order from them!!!!

Have to make this review honest as I was threatened by the owner with legal action if it wasn't. Ordered a specific color/type of arrangement to be sent to my new so's office as a surprise... ended up getting their "Halloween special". Wasn't the right color scheme, had a picture of a creepy woman, and the note was wrong to the point of not even making sense. Called to complain and the person I spoke with told me "not to worry I wasn't charged for the picture, and they would do better next time" ...I asked for a refund because they ruined a romantic gesture/I didn't get what I ordered/was embarrassed by the arrangement and was refused with no reason given. I told the woman I spoke with it was fine if I didn't get a refund but that I was unhappy with the experience and planned on letting other people know how her business handled complaints. She then told me if my review wasn't honest she would contact her attorney. TLDR; trust the bad reviews (the good ones might be doctored) and steer clear of this place. Plenty of other local florists who don't threaten unhappy customers

Sad to say, Been coming here for about 8yrs. Have ordered tons of flowers and countless cousages. This time I was disappointed. The miniature red roses look like they were 3 days old. They keep trying to replace with different colors and different flowers. We asked for red miniature Rose's, nothing else would have matched her dress. For it being my sons last prom, if was sad that I wasn't satisfied. The owner calls and says I'm sorry you weren't happy. You wouldn't be happy either if you saw the cousages. For what I paid they should have been amazing like they usually are. Not this time. Should have been discounted or something

AWFUL FLOWER SHOP! I ordered my wife a bouquet from FTD online that was filled by this florist. When it arrived it was not as described, I called and complained to FTD and they compensated me 10% of my bill. I was cool with that and thought everything was fine. The next day, a delivery driver from Fairfield flowers shows up at my wife's door and demands the flowers back! Even though they were already paid for! I immediately called and the owner told me that because I complained that FTD wasn't paying her so she was taking her flowers back. When I told her that was between her and FTD, she told me to give her the flowers back and call FTD for my refund or she would just take me to court for the money!!!!! My wife was horribly embarrassed and totally mortified! Even though the flowers were bought and paid for, and even though the bouquet wasn't right to begin with, they sent someone to my house ot embarrass my wife and demand their flowers back!!!! I should sue these people! Don't ever do business with this flower shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I highly recommend this florist. We live out of state and had ordered flowers for my mother-in-law, a week in advance, from an online florist. We were notified on Mother's Day that they were going to make it. Frantic to get her something for this special day, we called Fairfield Flowers and they said they would be able to do it. My mother-in-law said the bouquet was gorgeous. We will DEFINITELY use them in the future.

Its just ok. She didn't listen to what I wanted. And when one of my specific requests was unavailable, she didnt call me to tell me. I showed up expecting what I asked for, and she had created something completely different. I must also point out that their floral style (when left to their own choosing) is a bit outdated (for example, they used daisies and carnations instead of garden roses and seeded eucalyptus). It will not look like Pinterest. For anyone under 40, I suggest going elsewhere.

Manager Amber helped me out so much when we were visiting Virginia Beach from Chicago for a funeral. She custom-made a select arrangement while I waited of the freshest floral available. I am extremely disappointed that this florist did not carry out my instructions properly and did not stick to the budget I set when ordering something as an Easter Gift for a friend in VA Beach. I set a budget requesting a very specific arrangement of herbs and a small Lindt chocolate as an Easter Gift - I called this in from the UK. I called in a short time after my initial order and added an additional herb. End of the day, they charged double what I expected and I am extremely disappointed. Tried to work this out via a phone call, however, was told point blank they delivered a quality order. In this day and age customer service is paramount to the success of small businesses. After an unsuccessful attempt to request some form of recourse in the way of a refund from what was double the budget assigned, I would strongly recommend staying away from this florist. I did tell them I would never use their service again and was told, rather politely "you have my permission never to use my store again". No problem! Stay away! PS - to add insult to injury, the owner asked if she should go back and collect the arrangement! Seriously? Avoid!

Sent flowers to friend for death of her twin...friend called to tell me they didn’t last one week. I think they should sent her something else. Never again from this shop. She tried to say the person did not take care of them! Thank you for your response, she is elderly and needs assistance when she goes out, I paid for delivery. I have known other people say their florist made goid and redelred redelivered a fresh arrangement.

My boyfriend had a dozen roses delivered to my job on February 15th. However, when they were delivered, the driver dropped and shattered my vase. He then blamed the drop on me, because I physically could not go out and take them from his hands. He was extremely rude. They redelivered more roses, but I did call and complain. I was told the owner would call me on Monday, but no one called. Today, I get a raggedy thank you card saying “thanks for letting us know about the problem with your delivery. I hope you enjoyed your roses.” No offer of a discount to my boyfriend for them ruining my surprise or the absolute disrespect I was shown by the first delivery driver. What was supposed to be a romantic surprise, turned into a nightmare. They will never get our business again, and I will make sure everyone I know knows about the lack of professionalism and lack or respect.

My daughter was dreading her 50th birthday, so I wanted to send her flowers to make the day a bit brighter. I don’t live in the same state as my daughter, so I had to do the order over the phone. I called Fairfield Flowers and mentioned that I wanted the flowers to be special. I wish I had gotten the name of the young lady that helped me because she was awesome! The flowers she sent were beautiful and she also went way above and beyond and included a beautiful scarf. My daughter was thrilled! I will definitely be using Fairfield Flowers again!

I found this place online, because it was near to my house.. I ordered a mixed bouquet of flowers to send to my wife, with one request, I wanted one perfect red rose in the center. That is our "thing" At first, the person waiting on me asked me if I liked something already made.I said I would like something to be made for me personally and fresh. The arrangement my wife received was wonderful/perfect. She loved it! The whole experience was just great. The owner, Charlene, took my order & assured me that they would give me their very best. I feel as if they went above & beyond. My wife also loves purple Iris. The shop said they didn't have any, but when the order came to the hospital , it was full of purple Iris. With one red rose, front & center. I will use them next time & every time. And I would definitely recommend them, they seemed like they truly wanted to please.

I have been into this shop several times before and dealt with the owner, Charlene who is very nice. She assisted a close friend in purchasing a flower spray for a close friend's funeral. When my aunt passed away, this was the first place I thought of to purchase something similar. Boy was I in for a BIG surprise. Unfortunately, Charlene happened to be out of town. The sales staff there was pleasant enough, but I did not get the same personalized treatment as the owner gave. One of the reasons I chose this shop was because Charlene was able to email my friend a picture of the flower arrangement and told us they did this for all of their arrangements. When I asked for the same of the person left in charge, her daughter I think.., I was told they did not have this capability at the present time. That was disappointing but I said okay and had planned to circle back around to see them prior to being delivered to the funeral home. Unfortunately time did not allow for that so I called back and asked if a picture could be taken and sent to me. When this question was posed, the same person in charge rudely yelled in the background "I told her we did not have that capability!!!!". She then got on the phone and proceeded to tell me once again that they didn't have that capability. I told her I was aware what she had said the first time but was just asking if someone could perhaps take a picture and send to me via cellphone and was promptly told "No" that they are strictly forbidden to give out their cell numbers. So I summarized that it wasn't an issue of not having the capability to do this, she just was not going to do it. There is a way to block your cellphone number from showing up on a text, but at this point I knew my wishes would not be accommodated by the silence on the other end of the phone. I promptly said "thank you" and hung up. The flowers looked okay, but not nearly as nice as what the owner had done for my friend and at half the price. I made the mistake of not looking up possibilities online prior to going into the shop. I gave them my price range but of course was given an option almost twice what I wanted to spend and now that I have looked online, there were a few others that were more inline with my budget that were not suggested. I will take the blame for this. I just felt so comfortable with the past experiences I have had there, that I didn't think this was necessary. They ribbon was falling off and I believe if it had been secured correctly, it would not have done that. After this experience, I don't think I would return. I was totally disappointed.

The quality of their arrangements, the flowers used, and their understanding of what a customer wants is always outstanding (even when the customer may not exactly know themselves). These ladies just always seem to get it right. Recently, my mother, daughter, and I discovered the series of DIY floral design classes offered at Fairfield Flowers, and we are hooked! I had an amazing experience with Fairfield Flowers. I spoke to the owner on the phone initially and then met with Marie, ultimately I was in there one afternoon deciding on flowers etc and talked to all of the staff members there and they were ALL AWESOME!! During my consultation - I explained I had a tight budget, Marie listened to the ideas of what I wanted - the look I was going for and sat and looked with me at pictures on my pinterest board to get a better idea. She then discussed less expensive flower options to reduce the cost but still get the look I was going for!! They did my bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaid bouquets, 2 mini-MOB and MOG bouquets, a toss bouquet, and a modern-garden-altar arrangement for me out of the leftover flowers and a few wild flowers to add a pop of color. It was all exactly what I asked for - and the cost was incredible. They completely worked within my budget! I wish I could upload pictures in this!! I highly recommend Fairfield Flowers - I still get complements on my flowers in my pictures!! Fantastic job!! (wedding March 16, 2013)

What a terrible experience! Fairfield Flowers was paid in excess of $500 for my daughter's wedding bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and chair bows for the ceremony. We were short 2 bows, 2 boutonnieres, one corsage was supposed to be on the wrist - and was not. Worst of all, the bride's bouquet was supposed to be large and cascading - and it was TINY!! I called them and the owner denied everything and refused to refund my daughter any money. I emailed them - got no response. The wedding coordinator at our venue is now taking them off of her list of florists.

Fairfield Flowers were so kind to pick the perfect floral display for my mother (again) that suits her favourite colours as well as not being too delicate or unstable for her to knock over, now that her balance is poor.
