I directed the wedding of a good friend who used Powell Florist. According to the bride, she confirmed with the florist several times that pictures would begin at 9am. The flowers were not yet at the church by 9:25 so we called and were told that it had been a very busy morning, they were just leaving and would be to the church by 10am. Pictures started 1 hour late due to the late delivery. Unfortunately, the florist forgot to include the father of the bride's boutonniere; the bride's mother & the groom's mother were to have flowers to carry but instead each was given a corsage by mistake and there was a corsage for the soloist, which was supposed to be a boutonniere. Debra from the Florist fixed these errors & apologized for being late. I would NOT recommend them.

My work orders flowers each month from Powell Florists to hand out to Seniors! Everyone is always nice, and the owner is especially! I actually meet her the last time I picked up carnations! I also made my first purchase that day as well! Exceptional customer service and the update looked great!

I recently purchased flowers for my wife's birthday and not only were the flowers beautifully prepared, but I was given instruction on how to keep the flowers fresh for longer life (still look good a week later) and I felt the care and love put into the preparation of these flowers. My Wife and I decided to use Powell Florist for our wedding and man were we happy we did! Betsy did everything she could to make sure that our wedding met every expectation my wife had. The amount of detail she put into her work was exceptional! She even stayed around the venue and helped set up all the greenery and flowers! She even went and picked up more from the shop to make it even more perfect! I also decided to send my wife a arrangement of flowers for our 1 month anniversary and Betsy recreated our wedding flowers into one magnificent bouquet and delivered it to her work! Overall the experience exceeded all other florist shops I have used in the past! Their pricing was great and the service was the greatest! I was extremely overwhelmed with the whole process of finding a florist for my wedding that would be able to create the things I wanted while also staying within my budget, but once I met with Betsy at Powell Florist, everything was perfect. She was incredibly kind & helpful to say the least! She went out of her way to find an unusual flower for my bouquet & made sure it was the highest quality possible. ....I can not express by a message how Powell Florist is #1 in Knoxville, here's how. I live in Lexington Kentucky and a very close friend of mine brother in law passed. We both do large computerized Christmas displays like the ones you see on T.v. I literately called every number on the first page of google for Knoxville florist. Not one single florist was willing to help me. Powell Florist came to the rescue as I stated we (love) and I mean love decorating. I wanted something of a small Christmas tree with no ornaments due to the fact I feel that would be inappropriate for a visitation. The gathered stuff from local sources ASAP within a few hours the VERY VERY nice girl on the phone ; - ) send me the photo of the arrangement. Here is a picture of their work.
