We had the best experience working with Hody’s Florist for our wedding and our flowers were beyond perfect! Angie was absolutely wonderful and so helpful throughout the process! She made my vision for our flowers turn into reality and they were gorgeous! I had met with a few florists prior to Hody’s and I was very stressed about it. As soon as my mom and I met with Angie, we knew we wanted them to design all the floral arrangements and bouquets for my July wedding. It was the best decision we made! They’re also very affordable! I live in Atlanta and have this specific Florist deliver flowers to my family and friends all the time. The service is outstanding and every bouquet I have had delivered just made their day. I have never seen such beautiful arrangements and with competitive pricing as well. Most other florist in the area are really high priced and do not offer even remotely close to the quality flowers you get when you order from Louis Hody. They have served my family proud for over 42 years in Nashville for all different occasions.

This past weekend, my boyfriend had a performance at Belmont University because he is an amazing vocalist and student at the private school. I searched numerous floral shops in Nashville Tennessee and found that Flowers by Louis Hody had not only the best reviews, but also a very good deal on a dozen roses. They ended up going exactly where I requested and were absolutely beautiful! They were far cheaper than the competitors and were, in my opinion, more full and fresh.They got to him during one of his rehersals before the evening show, and all of his friends were there to see his face light up when they were delivered. I definitely recommend this floral service and will definitely be using them again in the near future!

I've placed many orders with Hody's Florist and have always had a great experience. The arrangements are beautiful, and they are very consistent. They always do a great job, and I've gotten various types of arrangements over time- all beautiful. The last order I placed, the owner included a bouquet of a dozen roses to say thank you. I ordered a very special arrangement for a funeral and paid $275. It looked nothing like the picture and they used wilted flowers and lots of ribbon for filler. To make it worse the owner was very unconcerned and was rude.

I don't usually take the time to review a business, but when the quality of service and product is as high as this, I think it's worth the time. I ordered a funeral arrangement for a family member this week, based on the picture on Hody's website. I know from past experience that you never get exactly what the picture looks like and occasionally, it's nothing like it. But I was so wonderfully surprised when I arrived at the funeral home to find the arrangement I ordered looked EXACTLY like the picture, it was absolutely beautiful. And the price was less than two other sites I shopped before ordering. I spoke with Linda when I called to order and she was attentive to my questions and I could tell she genuinely cared about getting my order right. I am so impressed with this florist that I have saved their number in my phone and they will be my only 'go to' florist in the future for all of my floral needs.

Overpriced and extra fees make this just another member of the scam that is buying flowers. There is absolutely no reason a $30 bouquet should come to $61. It's just false advertising. It reminds me of 1800 Flowers and how they'll give you a picture of one set but that's the 2nd or 3rd level and the basic package that you originally were attracted to the price of is for 2 flowers and a string.

I ordered the "Teleflora's True Romance Bouquet with Red Roses" and had them delivered to my wife's work to surprise her on her first day back to work after our honeymoon. She absolutely loved them and went on and on about how immaculately beautiful the roses were. I will definitely shop here again.

Angie did our flowers for our wedding, and they turned out absolutely AMAZING! We spent so long trying to find a florist, but all of the “wedding” florists prices seemed crazy. We finally decided that ‘they’re just flowers’ and agreed to meet with Angie from Hody’s, expecting nothing spectacular. However, at our meeting, she made me feel much more confident than with any of the other florists I had met with. She knew her flowers and had great ideas. I was still nervous, since I wouldn’t see the flowers until the wedding, but they turned out everything I was looking for and more! She completely understood my vision and nailed it! I ordered flowers from Hody's for my wife as a surprise gift for her new job. The flowers were delivered as expected in a timely manner. My wife did remark that the flowers appear to have been "sitting a couple of days". They were decent but could have been more fresh. I almost chose ProFlowers but decided to support a local establishment. Update: Mr. Hitt, the president at Hody's, provided some of the best service to ensure my wife was happy. He sent another bouquet of flowers, at no cost, that she found outstanding! He guarantees the flowers that they sell and made sure that their customer service is outstanding. I recommend Hody, and Mr. Hitt, without reservation!

We had flowers send to my aunt in the hospital out of town. The room # listed did not match the # Hody's had on their delivery order. They called to confirm the room #. Once confirmed, they advised all would be well with the delivery. I also received an email confirmation advising delivery had taken place. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. Excellent service.

I went here last week to get some flowers for my mom in the hospital. This place has been around since before I was born. A really long time LOL. I walked in and within five minutes I had the flower arrangement that I had seen online. They were very friendly and I'm glad I went here. I don't think I'll use another florist again. I highly suggest this place for flowers, plants, balloons, or anything else that you may need for your special occasion. I would give this place 10 Stars if possible

I lack words to express my appreciation & gratitude to this florist. I lived & worked in the Nashville area for 21 years before moving to Panama City Beach nearly 2 years ago. My best friend from high school had a very serious & risky surgery @ Vanderbilt. Because of an existing back problem, I was not able to be with her. I was devastated. I love Louis Hody Florist. I have used them for I'm sure for over 25 years. Ms. Linda always picks the perfect arrangements and gets my orders perfect. If it is a Telaflora order she makes sure that the florist can fill and deliver my order perfectly. My Dear Mother passed away in 2015. I called Linda and discussed that we wanted the broke heart with red and white roses, All the florists in my hometown wanted to charge over double of what Louis Jody sells theirs for. Of course you are upset.hurt and want the perfect arrangement so some florist use your grief to over charge you. Linda called until she found a.florist that could make one for under 400.00. I was so happy and Thankful for my florist helping me during my time that my life was turned up side down. I couldn't ask for nicer, kinder, sweeter people to help me during those hard times. I would never even consider using another florist. The 1-800 peoples flowers don't last or arrive as ordered that's why its 19.99 plus tax, huge delivery rates etc. Why try the rest when you have the best!!! They never take advantage of your situation of hurt,sadness, grief or sorrow. You are important no matter if its a sad, happy or congratulations they make sure that you get nothing but the best.Ms.Linda is worth her weight in gold.You can tell that she is smiling on the other end of the phone by listening to her voice. Everyone that I have ever dealt with at their locations are just as kind as can be every time that you call. I know this is a family owned business that thrives to keep clients coming back. When Mrs. Hody and Mr. Ingram were alive this was a one shop do it all location with the most exceptional floral design in town. Mrs. Hody would deliver almost anywhere in the state, but sadly Mr. Hitt has been more about quantity and expending the locations of Hody with sites in Franklin and Hendersonville, while cutting corners on the arrangements. Mrs. Hody would be so sad to see that quality has been lost, which is something she spent her life building up only to see that to has been cut.

I am in the Northeast, and searched for a florist in the Nashville area to send a git today. "Annie" was very helpful, and did her best to address what I needed. The flowers were delivered and the recipeint sent a pic. Very disappointed to see that the hydrangea I requested were not included (Annie, at what I discovered is a "call center", explainded later that maybe they weren't available--but no one called me to offer a 2nd choice); the 7 lilies they used instead (should have said "no lilies") were not open (an 8th had "lost its head", leaving a bare stem, dead center), so the arrangement was not filled out--appeared a bit sad. So was I.

I was looking to send an arrangement to someone in Nashville as I live out of state. Ordering was very easy online. I ordered at 6pm on a Friday and wanted them received first thing Saturday morning. Not only did they arrive as I wished, but they were beautiful! Highly recommended.

Third arrangement I've received as a gift from the Franklin location. My boyfriend ordered the upgraded arrangement, but it is no bigger than the $8.99 bouquet from the grocery store and looks about the same. Additionally, the flowers were already dead or dying within two days. These are daisies and other long lasting flowers (if fresh) and miniature roses that looked sad upon delivery. :(
