I have used Emma's several times in the past and have always been very happy - until today. I ordered a Teleflora bouquet and it was much smaller than the size on display on the website in the "as shown" picture. I will assume that they used the wrong photo on the website so I am not going to call back and complain, especially since all of the other times I used them I was very satisified. But I did some poking around and found the same Teleflora bouquet for $10 less at a different florist in Nashville. I think it is time to try a different florist after all these years. I also was not happy about paying a $5 upcharge on floral delivery on Valentine's Day. If it were not for today's experience, I would have rated Emma's excellent in all three categories.

AWFUL COMPANY! VALENTINES SURPRISE RUINED. FLOWERS NEVER SHOWED. DID NOT CALL/EMAIL ME. DID NOT ANSWER CALLS/PHONE. DELIVERY LOCATION WAS LESS THAN 5 MIN FROM THEIR ADDRESS. DID NOT ISSUE REFUND. I will update this review if they issue my refund - but until then, this company is a massive disappointment

I called Emma's, last minute, for flowers for my daughter's 21st birthday. I had called several places,only to be told ,they were about to close, Emmas helped me rite away, they put together something for my girl.. i explained she got off work at 5 and that it needed to be there before that, it was after 3 when i called..they said no problem...my daughter callex me abput 415 to tell me she had gotten the flowers and how happy she was..Thank you guys so much..One happy momma here

I ordered flowers from Emma’s to be delivered to my wife twice a year for a few years now. Last year’s Valentines delivery was a disaster. The flowers didn’t make it to my wife’s office which is literally down the street from Emma’s. I do realize that small businesses get overwhelmed, people get sick, and the weather doesn’t cooperate at times. I called in the afternoon on the 14th about 10 times, but no one picked up. My wife’s flowers were delivered the day after I didn’t complain, did not ask for my money back, none of that. I tried to understand even though Valentines bouquet was useless, and the flowers are less expensive the day after. This year I called to find out that they took a limited number of deliveries to right last year’s wrong. So I didn’t get to send flowers at all. Thank you for correcting your mistakes at my expense. I think with Nashville growing, you don’t need to retain old customers. The girl on the phone hung up on me when I tried to explain that they may owe me a favor since last year.

I will always support local businesses as much as possible and after receiving flowers from Emma's I will make sure to use them for all of my Nashville needs! A friend of mine sent me flowers from Emma's to my office as a surprise and they were marvelous. It's been about two weeks since the flowers arrived and they're still going strong! I will be sure to recommend Emma's to everyone I know and will be sure to use them in the future!

I live in Florida but needed some flowers to be delivered to a local church in Nashville for a funeral service. I gave Emmas a shot after my sister has also placed an ordered with them. We were hoping we both made the right decision. Nikki answered the phone and was VERY helpful. She even located my sisters order so we didn't have flowers that looked the same. She was patient because she did not find my sisters order on the first look but did not give up. I placed an order for a medium display with a color theme of white with a few white roses in there. Nikki communicated very well and made sure we were on the same page. I really liked her helpful attitude! The flowers were 78 dollars and that included a12 delivery charge. My sister sent me a picture of my flowers and they were lovely and they did a great job of centering the white roses as the "show piece." My thanks to Nikki and Emmas for doing a great job and for great phone communication, etiquette and timely delivery.

I used Emma's a lot years ago and there were always super helpful and nice, but that no longer seems to be the case. They wanted to charge me a minimum order of $60 plus an extra delivery fee just to get some flowers to my wife's workplace before noon. This was with 24 hours notice, so it's not like I was ordering last minute. They've slipped into a mode where there no longer seem to care about customers anymore.

This is my second year ordering flowers from Emma's. I love the selection that they have! I send them to my cousin for her birthday and I live in Florida. This year I got a call from Emma's asking if I would be sending flowers again this year. I thought this was a great marketing strategy! My boyfriend ordered flowers for me to celebrate Valentine's Day, the flowers never showed up. No one from the business called him to let him know they were not able to deliver the flowers. I understand that Valentine's Day is an extremely busy day for florists, but a courtesy phone call should've been top priority especially when delivery would not be met for that day. Awkward situation when your boyfriend is expecting a call from you to "gush" over his thoughtfulness. Too bad Emma's , you dropped the ball...on Valentine's Day.

Beautiful floral arrangements, nicely done fake flower arrangements, lovely live plant arrangements. Prices were better than I expected, being in that area of town. I was buying a plant but looked around and they have a variety of gifts to go with your flower purchase. The downside to their location is very limited parking close to the store, but it is worth walking a little.

This isn't a quick stop for flowers for the hospital as we had hoped since they were near the hospitals! They are very pricey but it's a neat shop. Mainly see someone here for weddings or huge events. Otherwise...?

My husband has had flowers delivered to me every year for 11yrs. Well this year he used Emma’s and no flowers. They promised him they would be delivered with no problem. Didn’t even call when they knew they couldn’t. He thought I was joking when I said I didn’t get them. What a disappointment.

The Best. I've sent flowers from Emma's to family in Nashville for nearly two decades, and not a single time have I been dissatisfied. All the orders have been individualized for the recipient. All have been delivered when promised. All have been beautiful and lasted longer than I anticipated. Superb service. What florists used to be. I wouldn't use any other florist.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife's place of work. After lunch when I knew she hadn't received them I called to get an ETA on delivery. I was told it would be between 3 and 5. At 3:30 I called again and was told between 4 and 4:30. I then asked why I was not told this information when I ordered because having flowers delivered to her work a half an hour before she leaves is completely pointless. The lady I spoke with said that the person I ordered with should have told me that. She also said the area the flower were being delivered to weren't part of their normal delivery area so they took them to someone else to deliver. My wife works around 100 Oaks mall. That's about a 15-17 minute drive????? Needless to say I won't be using Emma's Flowers again.

For two straight years Emma's promised me they would deliver my order on Valentines day. This year again they failed to deliver. The sad fact of the matter is that the location they had to deliver to is less than 1/4 of a mile from their shop. Valentine roses delivered the following day lose their significance. I doubt I will use them again.

We ordered a Dish Garden with Angel over the phone through Emma's to be sent to an out of town funeral; when we arrived at the funeral there was a small, cheap woven basket with a cheap plastic angel hanging from the handle with our name on it. We were highly embarrassed and called Emma's back that afternoon to find out who they used since there was no florist's name on the basket. We were told that the order was picked up off "the system" and, although they gave us the name of the other florist, they claimed that there was "nothing they could do - it was the other florist's issue." So much for Emma's "100% satisfaction guarantee." If there is a way to complain to someone about "the system" we sure did not get any help to make such a complaint. Emma's usually does beautiful arrangements and we've never had an issue with them before, but this was totally unacceptable. By the way, Flowers by Michael in Manchester, TN, was the florist who provided the non Dish Garden.

EMMAS called me the day before valentines day to let me know they don't deliver to the address I gave them. When I called a week before then and placed my order, Emmas took my money and said they in fact did deliver there. When they called my car was in the shop and I had no idea how to pick up my order. After i got it home i realized there were only 11 roses. They said they would refund the delivery fee and it would go back on my card. After 5 days it still was not in my account. I called Emma s 7 days later and complained about everything and said they should give me a full refund for crappy service, product, and hassle. the owner cussed me out and told me to never come back!

First time customer. I ordered from out of town with details only from their website. The ordering was quick and easy. The arrangements are beautiful and accurate to online pictures. My special request was easily possible and looked amazing. The pizza pillow is just cool. The delivery was timely and I hear the arrangements have an amazing fragrance.
