Purchased easel arrangement for my father's funeral service in late Feb. Cost was $195. Delivered evening before for 10:30 am service. Flowers were completely wilted when we arrived. I was so disappointed, embarrased and it was too late to do anything about it. I did not contact the shop as we were mourning and there were many things to take care of. It was not at all what I wanted to honor my father.

I will never use this place ever again. I have used them on two occasions and both times they have failed miserably. The worse was for my wedding a little over a week ago. I ordered my wedding flowers from them b/c they seemed to be the most reasonably priced. When we placed the order we were told even though my wedding was on a holiday they would still deliver the flowers. Then we were told no they weren't going to deliver we had to pick them up a day early since they would be closed on the holiday. We were told to pick up the flowers before 5 pm but no earlier them 3 pm on the day before my wedding and that flowers had to be kept in the refrigerator. So a few weeks go by and we made our final payment including an addition to our original order. The week before my wedding I get an email saying that I had to now pick up the flowers before 11:30 in the morning. They were going to close at noon that day. When I pick up my flowers my bouquet was smaller then I was expecting, the flowers I ordered for the memorial table were wilting, the roses were already brown on the edges, one of the corsages were missing, and when I asked them to fix the issues they made missing corsage up with only one flower and the rest of them had two flowers. I was so upset I took the flowers and left. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed we were short two white spider mums we ordered for the center pieces. I will never deal with this company again and I will also share my issues with this company over and over again.

I was very very disappointed in the flowers. I ordered "ELEGANT Large Callas" in recognition of my aunt's 90th birthday. Prior to ordering the flowers, I had an extensive conversation with a store representative who stated that the flowers would like just like it did on the web. NOT TRUE. I opted to pick up the flowers since I was going to be driving to Summerville from North Carolina. When I arrived....excited I might add.... the flower did not look like the picture....nothing like it....with the exception it was white. The bulbs were not opened....it was stuffed with cotton balls. When I raised my concerns and showed them the picture on the web, I was told.....for lack of a better word the picture on the was embellished. I was assured that the bulbs would open and placing the cotton ball in was natural. I asked if the flowers would last at least a week. Again, I was told yes. They did opt to refund the my money, and/or select another flower. Well, neither worked because I had selected the best..to me...Well, the flower died within three days so much so I was told that the family threw it out. I contacted the shop to ask for a "redo".....No can do" I was told. I was very disappointed because they really did not care.....they had my money. The co-owner, Jeana, told me that she did everything she could by making it elegant.....better vase and added baby breath. She did add the baby breath which did not extend the life of the Callas. I told her I did not pay for an elegant vase and/or baby breath. I paid $69.95 for the Callas and if they were as ELEGANT as displayed on the web, the better vase and the baby breath would not have been needed. Needless to say, this was my first and LAST time going to the Blossom Shop. I am now researching the names of their board of directors/trustees because THIS IS NOT RIGHT. THEY SHOULD NOT DISPLAY WHAT THEY CANNOT DELIVER. I MIGHT ADD, THAT OUT OF THE 20 FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS DISPLAYED, I PICKED THE 5TH MOST EXPENSIVE. THE ARRANGEMENT OF ELEGANT CALLAS DISPLAYED WAS NOT CHEAP.

I am in WV and ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom in Summerville, SC. The Blossom Shop made this a very easy and smooth process! The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with every little detail we were asking for!! (and there was alot! lol) Mary Ellen originally helped me and she was very quick to help put together an arrangement similar to what I had previously found on FTD's website. The arrangement they made turned out BETTER than what I had originally found! It is so full, colorful and absolutely beautiful!!! I ordered a 2nd arrangement from my little boy to my mom. He knew exactly what he wanted, even down to the message on the card. It was his own special bunch of flowers to her from him, and they delivered to the tee on this arrangement as well!! The entire staff did a superb job! Both arrangements are absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Delivery was prompt and just as promised. We are extremely happy with The Blossom Shop and will definitely order from them again.

They were very helpful, and even called me back to change the color of the ribbon because they didn't want it to clash with the color of my daughters gown! This was my first time using them and I called for a last minute same day wedding bouquet about 4 hours before they closed. I only told them the color I was wearing and that I wanted some cream roses. I was scared it was going to look cheap and just thrown together since it was last minute but it looked amazing! The flowers and colors were gorgeous, it looked very expensive and like out of a magazine. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

Perfect! I stopped in this morning with a request for a bouquet of specific flowers - a certain arrangement, only chosen types/colors, etc. for someone special. Understanding I tend to be a little (ok a lot) particular in what I want, the ladies at the shop couldn’t have been more receptive and helpful. And, in my experience, they are always this way. I suppose these types of experiences help to explain why this shop has been brightening lives through their “blossoms” for 75 years, right? I give them a price I do not want to exceed and each time they come create a beautiful bouquet. The flowers always last a week and when delivered, they are on time or earlier than scheduled. So impressed with The Blossom Shop! I live about three hours out of Summerville, but I needed flowers/plant for the following day - a memorial service at 11:00 which meant the flowers/plant had to be at the funeral home by 9:00 a.m. I phoned the shop last minute, at about 5:20 (they close at 5:30). They even had to log back onto the computer to accommodate me. The shop suggested I send a hydrangea plant. Upon seeing the plant at the service, I was so impressed - it was quite substantial with many big beautiful blooms...absolutely gorgeous! I'm surprised it didn't cost more. The family loved it, and they plan to plant it in memory of their father. Thank you for such great customer service and for a quality product - rare characertistics these days. Thank you again! Today was not a good day! It is my daughters 11th birthday and I called at 930-10am to order a "BASKET" of flowers with candy for her to be sent to her school by 12pm, also to have a picture of it sent to me to see what the final product was. At 1 it still had not made it. Called and they said it was on its way and that they could not send me a picture and they were sorry it had not made it. Called the school at 145pm and they had delivered a "VASE" which i did not order because of school regulations. They had just pulled back up with the "BASKET" to pick the "VASE" back up that had already been delivered to her class!! Very pathetic service and I dont appreciate it being such an issue. NEVER USE THEM WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING ELSE GOING ON!!! EXCUSE: ITS MOTHERS DAY WEEK AND WE ARE BUSY!!

I wish there was a way to give this florist zero stars. They delivered my order(more than 100$ work of flowers) to my house when my wife was not home. Instead of calling the number I clearly left on the order, they leave the flowers with my neighbors who just moved in and I have never met. My neighbors apparently work night shift and my wife didn't get her flowers until the next day. I will never use this florist again.

Ordered an arrangement as a day-of request, and The Blossom Shop was able to get them delivered swiftly! The arrangement itself looks beautiful, and the extra care they took to call to make sure someone was home was a great touch. It was really hot today and if the flowers had been left outside they would have wilted.
